FOR THOSE OF US WHO HAVE HEARING ISSUES and, THUS, DO NOT HAVE A CELL PHONE (landline only)....THIS violates common decency...and in America, is a direct violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act ...
**PLUS, it's ONE STEP CLOSER to "digital currency"...which the FEDS could confiscate AT A MOMENT'S NOTICE... aka in another DEM majority in Congress, it would be very easy to write a new law about "confiscation" (for whatever soup-de-jour reason they would have AGAINST CONSERVATIVES) **🔥😡🔥
Digital Currency = vapor-ware = Entry into the Beast System.
Just a little off topic, but have you ever thought about getting a cell phone for texting? It could help you keep in touch with your family and friends and you would have a way to call for help if you were in trouble away from home.
If I've overstepped, please feel free to tell me to buzz off. 🙂✌️
buzz off
Pretty sure you don't have to justify your lack of a cell phone to anyone. I'm 42 and I've never owned one. Because I don't want to, that should be enough.
People don't understand how you are almost guaranteed a dystopia when you give away your anonymity.
Because all of the sudden, every where you go, every transaction you make, you can get judged and penalized for what you Tweeted last night.
For example, recently I flew somewhere. I had 4 1st class flights. The airlines sneakily put me in coach for two of the flights without notifying me. The plane was full. I either had to not-fly or ride in coach.
Why did that happen? I think it is likely because the airline knew who I was. They don't want my business.
Did you get a refund from the 1st class tickets at least?
I ended up with a satisfactory result. But that isn't the point of my comment.
My point is that the loss anonymity means that shit like this will happen every single day when the databases are all active in the cloud and AI is working on it.
Think about ESG and the ramifications. Blackrock will tell businesses to single you out and persecute you.
I got your point and I believe it's happened to me in other types of circumstances.
Worst part is that it works in the background and most people will not be fully aware.
Do you go to the Dr,had blood drawn or any other DNA sample if yes. You are not anonymous period..
Exactly how Hong Kong lost their resistance and in fact all freedoms within recent months... yet some claim chyna may be on the Patriots side. Yikes!
Xi not the ccp
One hell of a leap of faith there... could be humanity's last leap
Trump the only american president allowed in forbidden city
Yes that is important symbolism that can be interpreted millions of ways
Just like the sword dance in saudi...never done before for us president..and I stand w putin on ukraine
Forbidden City, Sword Dance, the Queen walking behind Trump, etc. Trump respected respected world leader? Sure, but you know who else is so respected and gets his ass kissed so much? The Orange King (King? Can’t remember if that’s the correct title. It’s Orange something). The leader of Prussia. Coincidence that Trump is also associated with Orange? Hmmm.
My point is he wouldn’t be the first to deceptively come to power through promises.
I support Trump but men are only as trustworthy as their previous actions.
China is either a big willing partner of the DS or a large scale model and testbed of the DS technocratic authoritarianism they want to put in place in the west and worldwide.
Yet even people on our own side advocate against anonymity. It's silly.
Globohomo in disguise + ignorant fools = your comment's target
I doubt it's because they knew who you were. It's probably because they knew who the other 1st class passengers were and they were more important.
Either way, my point still stands.
The loss of anonymity leads to dystopia, don't you agree?
No, the opposite. We already live in a dystopia because we fear being judged and penalized for what we say.
Who retaliates against people who speak their mind? Name the mob, there isn't a single leader because they hide behind their anonymity.
If anything, we need to be more vocal, more present, and push back against those who hide behind fake personas.
Well, they killed Rashid Buttar, Robert David Steele and who knows how many others who get in their way.
oh, my sweet summer child
And there is an obscure battle with even more obscurely-drawn battle lines going on to make it so that one must present an ID in order to use the internet. Think about what this means.
Yea, you download the app and add in your payment method. Go in and shop, fill up your bags and walk out. Purchase automatically calculated. No cashiers or registers. I like the convenience of it but also concerned about the digital prison situation as well.
Apps apps apps. I hated the word from when they first started trying to normalise it. It's training to condition you to not need or want to leave your 15m city Pod. Why bother going to a shop when there'll be no physical interaction with another human and you can achieve the end result at home.
This reminds me of paying the mortgage online. My wife liked it because of the "convenience" (I have come to detest this word). That is, until we received a huge package from the bank. Inside it was a 'foreclosure notice'. WTH? My wife called the bank to find out what this was all about. After hours of waiting on the phone and be transferred numerous times, we found out she entered the wrong amount for paying the mortgage. It was a typo error that shorted the bank 50 dollars. It took her two full days to find a sympathetic ear to correct this problem. There's no doubt in my mind they intended to foreclose on us.
This leads me to when I use to pay the mortgage. I used the snail mail system, better known as the USPS system. The bank would send out a billing in the mail. I would go out to the mailbox and fetch the mail. I then would return to the house and open it, read it, and use a high-lighter to mark the date due. The billing would then go on the refrigerator door held there by a powerful neodymium-iron-boron (NIB) magnet. Every time I got something to eat from the frig, I was reminded of that important billing there. I would always mail payment with a personal check 3-5 days before the due date. There is a 2-week grace period, so my payment always was paid on time.
I actually liked this method of paying. The physical activity and involvement gave me a sense of accomplishment. Contrary to this, my wife fell into the honey trap of 'convenience'. That 'convenience' ended up being all too often 'last minute'. That 'last minute' became paying it on the last day of the grace period. As a result, one simple typo nearly cost us the house. She shed many tears in those two days trying to straighten out the mess she made for herself. Fortunately, she was able to succeed. I would have failed in this regard.
Yes, I detest the word 'convenience'. Too often it is a lure that also requires those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety (convenience), deserve neither liberty nor safety.
Just curious - why wouldn't you just have it automatically pay the same amount each month? Why would you log in each month and type in an amount? Where is the convenience of that?
It may have been before that was possible. My wife was paying the mortgage. I liked the snail-mail method of actually "licking" stamps. I used a wet sponge because I never trusted what was in the glue. Anyway to me, there was a greater sense of getting the job done...... To hell with 'convenience'. That's my point. It is the lead in to the 'Beast System'. You have to 'volunteer' in order to be sentenced to hell. It doesn't get any clearer than that.
Unfortunately, the US Postal service has gotten so bad I don't trust them with important things any longer.
I'm constantly getting mail addressed to people in different apartments and different streets.
I can't count the number of times I was missing mail, as well. Including bank statements and medical information. Who knows who ended up getting that mail and what they did with it.
I don't know why postal workers can't properly read names and numbers now. 🤷♀️
I bet you're right about that. I've seen them just take piles of mail from trays in their car and put them straight in the mailbox like that. We have the huge mailboxes that serve 50-60 apartments each.
Yeah, I think I might be judging the mail people unfairly on this. Thanks for the insight.
I wonder why the machines aren't catching the misplaced mail. Or maybe mail people used to have the time to look through the mail and catch the mistakes? But now the postal service is broke and can't employ enough people and they no longer have the time?
Guess I have some research to do. Thanks again for the reply.
I tend to agree with you. Before, it wasn't nearly as bad. I believe the USPC has been compromised,... infiltrated by criminals in the name of equal rights for advancing the destruction this once very fundamental and important institution. This is what the Cabal's agenda is about. EOE was a ruse to flood the USPS with Marxist individuals for weaponizing the USPS services. It is supported and advanced by the extraordinary ambiguous allowances for employee overtime, which provides USPS employees a common six figure income. It is an ongoing racket that the democrats are protecting for maintaining their own power.
That's an interesting analysis. It definitely gives me something to think about. Thanks for the input.✌️
I always resist...I hate it too
True. But I go to the grocery to shop, get my items and leave. It's not a social club.
Oh I like human interaction, with people that I actually like. Just not 400 pounders clogging up the aisle with 4 screaming kids running around. Have my list and store layout map. I'm there for a very specific reason....to get in and out as fast as possible. I hate shopping and the grocery is the absolute worst.
I also tend to hate "apps" as well.
Programs. Executables. "Apps" came out of nowhere and was jarring -- and I wasn't even that old when I noticed it!
Applications!
Convenience is how they will sell you on being chipped, you know, like dogs and cats have been for years. You game?
How do we know we are not already chipped some how or some way? Not that I am advocating for it, but who knows any more.
We don't and not knowing means you didn't accept the mark willingly.
Everything online including web browsing, email...everything is tracked and tied back to you, so there's that already.
Agreed, were definitely in the system and being monitored. I been waiting on all that is going on now since the 80's.
Yep, based off convenience.
It is the Beast System. All it takes is signing up for it.....Why? Because it is convenient.
Also, it's not like they're getting rid of regular Aldi's, this is just a shop n go version. If you don't like it you can shop elsewhere.
I'm ok with it existing. I wouldn't use it, but I know people who would like it.
How is it more convenient to have to find an app, download it, verify it, add payment method, and hope it never screws up? What if you forget your phone? What if your phone is dead?
You are only lying to yourself if you think it's more convenient then paying with a card you've always had....
On the bright side, if there are no humans at quest diagnostics it might be easier to get away with using the whizzinator
I never use self checkout even when the line is long for the cashier and I have 1 item. They will try and usher me to the self checkout and I just laugh and say you don't pay me enough to work for you.
This would be no different, I would stop shopping there and be happy to do it.

I thought Aldi was just in the Midwest US. They are multi national?.
Never had one in CA my whole life there. Moved to Midwest and theyre everywhere.
Decent little stores though. Fair prices.
They're based in Germany.
TIL, thx
Trader Joes is under the same company umbrella.
Interesting. They are definitely similar in some ways.
If I remember correctly, it was brothers that started Aldi's. After a fued, they split and one had north Germany stores and the other south stores. One brother has Aldi's and the other had stores by another name I can't remember, but also owns Trader Joe's now. There's more to it, that's just what I can remember reading lol I live in the U.S. and I like shopping at Aldi's. I went in to Trader Joe's once and the first thing I saw was a bag with big letters on the front, "made in Racine, Wisconsin." Put a bad taste in my mouth and I haven't been back.
All generic crap. Read the ingredient lists.
Always do. They have better generic stuff here than most stores. Better ingredients. Definitely better than name brand.
Get those gardens going, mofos
At first I thought this was to prevent more smash and grabs, but let's be honest, nothing stops those thugs except the threat of putting them to work breaking rocks.
Whole Foods in some liberal shitholes was trying this too
Aldi was the first to slap up the red green light door system in uk circa 2020 and have us all lining up for blocks to enter,so it doesn’t suprise me , ima hop every QR gate i see ever , gonna have to shoot me to stop me
whats their excuse? to reduce shoplifting?
This is like how they do things in China and South Korea.
Aldi is gross anyways. All that cheap food there is full of corn syrups, dyes and binding chemicals, gums.
Then the "fresh food" veges and fruits expires faster than any other store ive been too. Bags of salad or oranges with mold n rot a day or two later.
Is that because Aldi produce is substandard quality? Or because they don't spray their stuff with preservative chemicals?
Tech will enslave us and turn us into livestock. Period. Satan Inc. will press a button and remove your access to any money if you do not do everything it wants. Resist CBDC.
Your chip has been prepared, just not installed yet.
This isn't happening in the US. I was just at Aldi this afternoon. Same as usual.
But it will.
Went to Aldi for the first time, walked up and you had to put a coin in for a basket so I turned away. Some nice lady was exiting and saw what was happening and voiced her thoughts as she gave me her basket. I wont go back simply because you have to pay to use a basket.
You get your money back if you return the cart. But we don’t use a cart we just bring our own bags in.
They do that so they don't have to hire a cart pusher. People will either return the cart to get their quarter back, or offer the cart to someone on their way into the store.
And then the mechanisms all jam so you get no quarter and no cart.
Because people only ever use the cart in front.
Because the cart return method is fundamentally flawed.
You get your coin returned when you bring your cart back and hook the chain. The coin gets pushed out.
They don't give out free bags either.
When I go to Crest they give free bags and they bag the groceries.
Now I'm happy to have a reason to boycott these clowns.
The first time I shopped at Aldi we had just moved to the Midwest. I got a cartful of stuff, and they didn't have any bags back then. The cashier gave me several boxes to use. I really like Aldi and they finally got them where I live now. I don't buy the fresh fruit or veg though because they seem to expire by the time I get home.
It's one of the ways they save money. Along with not providing shopping bags.
The coin locked basket is pretty common in Europe.
Accept less, and soon its the standard. Been striking business off my list for quite some time now. Good news is there are plenty of places that still want your business and are willing to show it.
Just step over that barrier, and steal what you need. There's one worker there, and he doesn't give a fuck.
When all the grocery stores do this at the same time, they won't be going broke.
