Wizard of Oz is about the political climate in the 1880s around money where there was competition to the gold standard with people advocating for a bimetalic standard with silver. The yellow brick road represents the gold standard, while Dorothy's slippers were silver in the book (adapted to ruby for the movie).
The scarecrow represented the farmers, tin man the industry in need of oil, the cowardly lion was William Jennings Bryan, who was a pro-silver advocate.
The video has a few very interesting interpretations even Decoding Symbols hasn't thought up, TIN man and Straw Man are highlights for me!
Yet the video does make a mistake in interpreting the unveiling the man behind the curtain as a push for Great Awakening. The masses becoming aware wasn't even on the radar back in 1939. CERTAINLY not something that would've been pushed/promoted in a Blockbuster film at the time, in an industry 100% Clown controlled.
Morgan (read: JP Morgan) being the “Man behind the curtain” likely symbolized the movie industry. Coordinating OPS with bankrolling. Giving gifts of AWARDS DIPLOMAS (Grants) and TESTIMONIALS (MSM support) all being things big money could furnish people who take part in ops with.
Still it's a great video and perhaps one day social media will be flooded with similar!
"the masses becoming aware wasn't even on the radar back in 1939."
Maybe that shows that time is a loop, or perhaps doesn't exist at all. We have all watched the movie, we all are becoming aware. Maybe the movie wasn't truly intended for them, but us.
No. It is a fallacy to assume that a film made decades prior was sending messages far into the future. Works of Media send Comms that are relevant to today. That is how Comms World stays afloat, thousands upon thousands of Comms being sent everytime you open up NYT or DrudgeReport.
It's akin to a liberal, upon viewing Star Wars (1977) for the first time, and decrying Darth Vader = Trump!!!1 When in reality the Comms being sent involve Luke Skywalker, moisture farmer = Jimmy Carter, peanut farmer. The Empire represents Reagan's faction, essentially.
Wizard of Oz was symbolic comms for the coming central bank based system, used to control the world from behind the shadows. It came out10 years or so before the Fed was created iirc.
I think people at the time knew this because my Grandmother told me many years ago that the yellow brick road was symbolism for Gold and Oz was the banks. That’s the way she interpreted it long ago. Maybe we just stopped talking about it.
How did Baum know to make the Tinman(tax identification number) 9yrs prior to the 16th amendment and the illegal institution of the Fed? Was he another insider who 'knew', and decided to tell the populace through code? Some of the video could fit, some of the rest I am not so sure about.
voice was over the music... maybe you have some crazy setting on your sound?
TV in our shop break room was crazy loud music over voices, it was nuts.. turned out a surround sound setting was on, not needed for just the tv speakers.
I thought it had something to do with trauma based mind control. A 'script' they run while putting children through the horror. Going "over the rainbow" meaning the point where a mind splits into multiple pieces while creating an alternate world in which to retreat.
First showing occurred in Kenosha WI on 8/11/1939. Second showing in Oconomowoc WI on 8/12-15,1939. Lots of good tidbit in this link. Disney”s “Mickey”s Parrot” was the opening cartoon
And oconomowoc WI is considered the beginning of the yellow brick road
The original ad for the showing at the Strand theater Oconomowoc boasts it’s the biggest movie since “Snow White”
I liked that but it failed to tie in other major characters.
A long time ago I decided that the scarecrow were Dems, the tin man republicans and the lion the church. I know it’s an allegory but who is who I’m not sure.
As far as the movie version of The Wizard of Oz, it was said that the shoes were changed from silver to ruby because the red showed up much better on film.
There is the idea, though, that "red shoes" are red from standing in the blood of sacrificed victims.
Remember that in the film, Dorothy inadvertently killed (sacrificed) the Wicked Witch of the East when Dorothy's house fell on her. Then the Ruby Slippers suddenly appeared on Dorothy's feet, but once she left Oz and was back home in Kansas the Ruby Slippers were gone.
No the red shoes worn by them is the skin of their victims dyed red. So the ruby slippers on Dorothy symbolize they were doing this to children way back then probably back to the beginning of time if the bible is correct.
Wonder if there is any writing by Frank L. Baum where he, in is own words is indicating that the Wizard of Oz is an allegory of mankind's struggle vs banking cartel.
There are many that write to suggest that Tolkien's LoTR was an allegorical story representing the evils of political power, and here we have Tolkien say as much:
"You can make the Ring into an allegory of our own time, if you like: and allegory of the inevitable fate that waits for all attempts to defeat evil power by power" (The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien, 1995, p. 121.)
When I read a letter of Baum's where by his own words he says that Wiz of Oz is an allegory of man's relationship to the banking cartel, I will much more likely believe what his video claims.
Look into it and tell us what you find. When I did over 20 years ago what I found were several comments he made verbally and in writing saying this was not about the banking cartels. At the time I found that hard to believe because it all 'fit' so nicely together but, according to his own words, his story of oz had nothing to do with any of it.
iirc the same could be said about dark side of the moon when played alongside the wizard of Oz, if is eerie how well it fits but several members of pink floyd denied it had anything to do with the track length and placement on the album.
We had several parties in the 90's where this phenomenon was The Feature of the night.
The sync has to be perfect: Load Pink Floyd CD. Press PlayPause so the CD is paused and ready to go. Load the movie. Press Play. The MGM Lion roars 3 times at the start of the movie. You un-Pause the music at the third roar. Mute the movie. Grab beer. Album ends well before the movie ends. The cool stuff occurs during the B&W segment, goes into the colorized segment a bit. Somewhere I have a printout of all the syncs, there's a dozen or so? At the time, it was pretty damn cool, but AI today makes it seem a bit lame by comparison. Still remarkable though.
I will see what I can find but not going to waste much time with it. Learning too much tends to push out what I already know.
Here Holmes explains it best:
Here is a cut/paste from Study in Scarlet. This is just after Watson and Holmes meet and take up diggings at 221b Baker Street, and Watson is trying to figure out what Holmes is about by the level of knowledge he has in certain subjects:
His ignorance was as remarkable as his knowledge. Of contemporary literature, philosophy and politics he appeared to know next to nothing. Upon my quoting Thomas Carlyle, he inquired in the naivest way who he might be and what he had done. My surprise reached a climax, however, when I found incidentally that he was ignorant of the Copernican Theory and of the composition of the Solar System. That any civilized human being in this nineteenth century should not be aware that the earth traveled round the sun appeared to be to me such an extraordinary fact that I could hardly realize it.
“You appear to be astonished,” he said, smiling at my expression of surprise. “Now that I do know it I shall do my best to forget it.”
“To forget it!”
"You see,” he explained, “I consider that a man’s brain originally is like a little empty attic, and you have to stock it with such furniture as you choose. A fool takes in all the lumber of every sort that he comes across, so that the knowledge which might be useful to him gets crowded out, or at best is jumbled up with a lot of other things so that he has a difficulty in laying his hands upon it. Now the skilful workman is very careful indeed as to what he takes into his brain-attic. He will have nothing but the tools which may help him in doing his work, but of these he has a large assortment, and all in the most perfect order. It is a mistake to think that that little room has elastic walls and can distend to any extent. Depend upon it there comes a time when for every addition of knowledge you forget something that you knew before. It is of the highest importance, therefore, not to have useless facts elbowing out the useful ones.”
“But the Solar System!” I protested.
“What the deuce is it to me?” he interrupted impatiently; “you say that we go round the sun. If we went round the moon it would not make a pennyworth of difference to me or to my work.”
MK-Ultra didn't even start until 50 years after the book was written. The NAZI party didn't start until 20 years after the book. The OSS didn't start until mid-WW2 and became CIA after WW2 ended.

Wasn't WJB one of the original practitioners of MKUltra?
If you didn't already read a recent Decoding Symbols post, there's stuff about Oz in there too:

They were becoming awfully aware in Germany. ;)

Fed was created in 1913 and the Wizard of Oz was released in 1939 and the book written in 1900.
Having never read the book I cant tell you how the movie may have deviated from the book.
Silver slippers to red slippers. Red shoes...
.... the book came out 10 years... before the Fed { in 1913 }
yup i forgot about the book momentarily but edited my post before your reply.
The movie was based on a 1900 book by Frank Baum
Here's a documentary by Bill Still https://rumble.com/vrrhih-the-secret-of-oz-remastered-2022.html
Actually paid money for this DVD many years ago. Should be required viewing.

Question for any who can/will answer:

He didn't. The video is cool and some of it could fit, but overall it is wishful thinking or confirmation bias.
If only this video had some really loud music playing over the narrator.../sarc
voice was over the music... maybe you have some crazy setting on your sound? TV in our shop break room was crazy loud music over voices, it was nuts.. turned out a surround sound setting was on, not needed for just the tv speakers.
probably it - something to look into. Don';t have that problem with other (most) videos though.

Nailed it!

Do your own video - I'm sure I'm not the only one that would love to see what you come up with.
Isn't there significance in the red shoes?

Ahh, thank you.
I think they were changed from silver in the book to ruby in the movie because red is more cinematic, perhaps.

Don’t forget it also ties into MK ultra, Nazis and the cia finders! Was adopted as a cult classic by the hippies.

I believe it’s multiple meanings. I think it had to do w bankers in general like you say initially but was co-opted by other parties later.
You have the man behind the curtain, the “veil” (how many meanings and interpretations for this?) the red shoes
Many themes and motifs that are in the movie relate to things that even pre date banking if you ask me.
First tik tok content I've ever seen that was worth the pixels it was printed on. Thanks OP!
This is my wife's favorite movie. Something tells me she's going to treasure it even more deeply now.
Absolutely Amazing!
