But, a few years after 9/11 my husband and I attended a Military Reunion for his Dad's unit of Paratroopers who'd made a WWII Combat Jump. There among these tough Patriots one morning at breakfast was a man who had on a T-shirt that said, "9/11 was an Inside Job". I remember how shocked we were to see this! I wanted so badly to talk to him and ask him why he believed this, but I didn't.
I was there too. I thought Bush was a great president. The media were all over him after 2003/2004. Keith Olbermann had his countdown of how many days since the Victory in Iraq was announced on the carrier (back when I was a big fan of MSDNC)
So people really think that W and/or those close him, the ones with the utter and complete lack of plan for Iraq and Afghanistan and how that turned out based on "gut feeling", were also the same ones that pulled off muh inside job without any significant glitches? W himself masterminding it? Is this comedy hour?
That administration under W, in particular W himself, wasn't competent enough to pull off making a ham sandwich.
Furthermore that administration was legendary for the amount of leaks going on, more than Nixon. Not a chance someone like W could escape that entire episode unscathed if he truly was involved at any meaningful level.
Just not buying it. W himself is in fact the biggest counter argument to inside job theories.
He deserves to be hung for crimes against humanity, regardless of who was the "mastermind". The president had real power and used our military to kill innocents.
