I was against Gaetz ending his fight against getting McCarthy the role because I don't believe for one second that with the support McCarthy had from the RINOs (and Dems, when needed) that there will be enough to remove him.
I'm saying that we will see if this provision had bite, or it was simply a symbolic gesture. Gaetz insisted when he took shots for backing down that this was enough to keep McCarthy in line. As I predicted from the beginning, that was not the case.
And I still believe it is not the case, because McCarthy wouldn't be so arrogant if it were.

Im in the 'this is all kayfabe' camp. I believe everything we are watching with Gaetz and McCarthy is a purposeful action to awaken the American public to the uniparty and their tactics. This is a very important and necessary realization to quelling public outrage when the arrests begin.
