🚨NEW: US Army sending letters to former troops saying that in light of the removal of the Covid-19 vaccine requirement, they can now apply to get their reasons for discharge changed. This means derogatory remarks or dishonorable discharges can now potentially be removed or reversed. (files.catbox.moe) 🔍 Notable

This is kind of garbage in my opinion, it should include:

  • An apology
  • Promise of back-pay
  • Dishonorable discharge of higher ups that pushed for this and criminal penalties where appropriate
  • List of steps or plan they will put in place to ensure this never happens again

Anything less is a joke.

The only reason they are doing this is because they need canon fodder. Their new woke Army can't get the job done.

Correct, their recruiting numbers are the worst ever, and they need their bullet sponges back,

Bullet sponges... haven't heard that one before. Agreed, I was figuring they were going to try and dangle a carrot in front of those they pushed out. You could see it coming with the new recruitment ads - trying to appeal to while cis men - real men. No thanks. Go F yourself.

Anyone that got kicked out should NEVER go back. Why? Because they would do it again in a heart beat if it benefits them.

And as an added bonus they can get those who refused to go die for Israel.

“A rare win for the good guy” says the jew who gets more soldiers for his bullshit holy war. Fuck off.

100%, this is a precedent that forces a foot in the door for altering what were normally permanent records of service. Meaning the absolute worst of service members can have their criminal deeds expunged

I hope many of these men and women are successful enough to be able to tell the Army where they can stick their letter.

As much as people would want our unvaxxed boys to bite back and spit on this peace offering, we should consider allowing our unvaxxed boys at lease petition to get their Dishonorable Discharge records corrected.

A dishonorable discharge note on your military record is the same as a serious felony conviction (like rape and murder). Which means no owning guns, no right to vote, and you can find your job/career opportunities much diminished. A removal of such a note would be a huge boon to those chafing under these unjust circumstances.

Getting the dishonorable discharge changed should be automatic. They shouldn't need to apply or go through any process.

Additionally, there should absolutely be no way anyone who was discharged for refusing the vaccines should ever go back into service as it was an affront to humanity. But this part is my personal opinion. The first part is just objective fact.

It's clear that they are trying to get people back because they want a war, and I think they don't like the rhetoric that people from both sides would rather turn against the government than face a draft for themselves or their children.

You know it is or they wouldn't be trying to get soldiers back, besides the ones that got the shots have weakened immune systems now and probably sick all the time or have a heart condition.

The woke US Army needs canon fodder for WWIII. If I were a serviceperson who left due to the jab mandate, I wouldn't return until PDJT is in office, God Willing.

Conservatives are so oppressed and deluded that forcing dishonorably discharged vets to jump through a series of flaming hoops that will take months, perhaps years, to see any resolution, is being called a win.

No, Mr. Draino, this is not a win. This is looking at a win through a telescope and imagining it's closer than it is.

Trust me, I was in the Army for a decade. It will happen like this: IF you go to your local recruiting station to return to service, then your request will get expedited and you'll be back in the service in 30 days.

If, however, you merely apply to get your discharge status reversed, that process will take years, and at some in the process you'll be told "You know, if you just return to service, this will take less time." It will end up being blackmail.

DC Draino says this is a "rare win for the good guys", but he can shove it.

Why does some letter from a "Brigadier General" make things better??

It doesn't bring the organs back that I lost from the vxxes. It doesn't rewind the "almost died" that I put my family through 3 times. It doesn't bring back the job I lost because I wouldn't take the vxx to finish me off. All in service of the government.

Why would anyone join the military ever from now on?? It's dead!!

You are spot-on. This is not a "win," and just more spit in the face of soldiers who (RIGHTFULLY) refused to get an experimental treatment. I'm sorry for your own personal troubles because of this crap.

I would have thought honour is a very important issue for people who serve their country. It is not a light switch that can be toggled on and off like this. If vax-sane people got slandered and were told they were not fit to serve for not accepting the poison shot, surely they are not going to turn around and believe this kind of nonsense.

How can you stand at post knowing that the service itself was dishonourable, how can you fight for that service with pride - knowing how disgracefully they treated you.

When I read this letter I think: a) they think very little of the people they sent this to, and b) the people that sent it are desperate and really, really stupid

and I agree with magaphraust - there is a lot missing from this letter if they are to have any hope of getting their best back.

It’s a win, and it’s not. Big picture, this was not their plan. The goal was vax passports, digital control, 99% acceptance, and a never ending series of mandatory vaccines anytime they chose. Forcing it on the military was an easy way to immediately get the numbers up, and remove persons prone to resistance or critical thinking.

They failed. Society as a whole resisted in far greater numbers than they accounted for. This includes the military. Society is also resisting the DEI agenda far more than they expected, and this includes the military. The clot shot and bullshit DEI has been killing their recruiting for 3 years in a row now. They are getting desperate.

Attempting to get discharged members back in is an obvious response to their abysmal recruiting numbers. Just like their newest all white male army ad. We can expect this to continue. They will do everything they can to reverse the image they have created for themselves in the past 3 years. It’s just an image.

If I had gotten discharged badly I would apply to get that corrected. An honorable discharge from a good job in the military carries as much weight as a college degree, sometimes more. My company prefers tech rate veterans over college grads. We are not the only ones. Of course I wouldn’t be signing back up.

A real win would be firing of every single flag officer who was on board with the policies that they are now reversing. A public apology to anyone they kicked out over this dumb shit. Accountability.

It’s better than nothing. My brothers can now get their correct honorable discharge. They have had to publicly beg for them to come back. This obviously was not their plan, and they don’t want to be doing it. But it doesn’t mean they have changed.

There is a purge coming in the pentagon. Just like everything else, the people had to be shown the truth. How bad the officer class has become. How out of step with both the military and the public. Baby steps.

Since the jab requirement was to force out a large part patriotic service members i.e. Trump supporters who could think for themselves, and prevent that same group from joining up, I don't see this happening, but if it did, in light of the deep state warmongering when no national interest is a risk, I don't see these people rushing off to rejoin.

They aren't doing anyone a favor if they can't get anything out of it themselves. Remove or change the reasons for discharge and it's pretty much like "never happened", am I wrong?

Sure, with enough digging the original reason would still be recorded somewhere to be found, but someone would have to know to dig.
