My cousin tried everything she could including IVF, all with no luck. Her husband basically ended up leaving her over it. She was pretty devastated and went on a crazy downward spiral of booze, drugs and promiscuity. Took her a few years to come to terms with everything and straighten her life out.
She got herself a degree and a job in corporate finance, decided she was gonna focus on being a career woman and started dating some douchebag lawyer (but a good guy deep down, lol).
They dated for about 2 years when she discovered she was finally pregnant at 39. So they got married and she quit the job and went back to her original dream of motherhood. Her kid is about the same age as my daughter, happy little family.
Its a blessung. I am so glad she had one. Alot of people do leave and abandon their vows in this type of case sadly. If my husband hd left me my heart would have broken. We were fracturing for awhile and i prayed and prayed on what to do. He wouldnt accept adoption. I would have so the answer to me was clear.

It’s just something I know I couldn’t do because It would make me crazy not knowing the child. It’s just who I am. About two years ago I took in a mama cat and her kitten then she had four more kittens. I had six cats in my house and a six pound dachshund that was scared of a tiny kitten. I’ve always loved cats and had several over the years. The mom & oldest kitten kept being adopted out and returned. It tore me up thinking about what they were going through. I have finally stopped looking at the adoption page.

I love cats myself but my husband is allergic to them so I cant keep them now. I feel for you on taking them in. Every cat we had growing up was a stray or a kitten we found next to a dead momma.

I obtained my eggs from 1500 miles away.
You cant make an embryo live to day 5 in a petri dish. I know - i would have 14 eggs and end up with one embryo or 2 at most by day 3 or 5. You cant make an embyo implant in the womb or make it live past 13 weeks if it does implant. It is Still in gods hands. It all is.
As for saturation, i dont have the answer but i bet it is more rare with eggs than sperm. Not all eggs will make it to viability and not all will take in the womb or live to a live birth. The rate of donation is lower. Most women dont repeat donate as it is a long protocol with drugs and procedures. It is more expensive to obtain.
