We are believing Jan 21, 2025 will bring a renewed confidence for US businesses and any govt. Incentive to not hire will be eliminated.
They aren't hiring, they're posting open positions so they can collect resume's for when they are.
Or its an internal promotion that due to local laws they're required to publicly list.
Or any other in a long list of silly bullshit companies do to obey insane local employment laws and regulations even though they aren't seeking new employees.
You should try an alternate version and see if it gets you an interview. Throw in some non-profit volunteering, take out the MIL, and speak with a lisp in the interview.
Hope so as I really do need to find a job ASAP. I still have yet to work at the entry level and I have a college degree and several certificates but I'm sure they're outdated now that technology has changed since. I can teach myself new stuff but at this point before this, I was worried that if I learn new stuff, I will never be able to apply my new skills anywhere as I still have yet to apply my old skills anywhere, other than at home.
At this point, I don't even know if the reason why I'm not able to find a job is because I'm deaf but over 70% of deaf people in America don't have a job. That desperately needs to be changed/improved.

When my company was looking for IT engineers/ developers, we had 2-3 LinkedIn ads showing 100(+) people applied while in fact we only had 6-8 candidates (not really good ones).
Either LinkedIn was faking the numbers to trick the candidates to buy the “Job Seeker” badge,

The 95% of candidates were not allowed to be seen by any employers (e.g. not being DEI enough),

Our business wasn’t allowed to get more CVs (growth suppression).

Also its rare to find one of them willing to work an hour over 40/week (even w paid OT) and if programs fall behind, it's always someone else's fault.

I teach at college (computer science)… most people majoring in CS arent native born, and if they are , most are asian or indian… cyber security, there is around 2million vacant jobs in the US currently…. The market for Americans working in IT disappeared, not the interest in working for it. I experienced too, being fully qualified and HR being very optimistic about my employment, and then an H1B takes the job, because he will do it for $10/hr. I know this because I watched a finance company almost go bankrupt over hiring them when I was systems support there, because they were idiots and didn't know shit. AI and COVID forced a lot of people out of work that already had experience (me for example), and then the pay dropped dramatically. That's pretty degrading and defeating, since it seems you have never experienced that. I haven't been able to get a job in 4 years doing what I loved to do. It's completely gone.
