I've been following Mullin on social media for a while. He's been rock-solid MAGA for the time I've been following. I did notice something back in November during the 1st filibuster of the budget. He was solidly behind the 60-vote rule to break the filibuster. I made note of it because this was something I didn't agree with him on. Then the President became more vocal about changing the rule. He changed his stance on it. He was suddenly for changing the rule. I'm not sure exactly what that says about him. But I thought it was interesting. Is he sucking up to the President? Or maybe he's flexible enough to actually change his stance on things if a good argument is made. Regardless, I do like the guy a lot.
It shows that he has loyalty, which is the highest of all principles. Sometimes people are wrong, and being able to admit that and align with President Trump is exactly what we need.
During the January 6 United States Capitol attack, Mullin and Representatives Troy Nehls (a former sheriff and Army veteran) and Pat Fallon (an Air Force veteran) helped U.S. Capitol Police build barricades and protect the doors to the House Chamber from the rioters.[43] He and many of his colleagues were later ushered to a secure location, where he declined offers to wear a mask, in violation of House rules.[44][45] Mullin said that he witnessed the shooting of Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt during the attack, which occurred after she climbed through a barricade leading toward the House Chamber; Mullin said the Capitol police officer had no choice but to shoot, and that this action saved people's lives, with members of Congress and their staff in danger from the mob.[46][47][48][49]
In January 2025, although Mullin had said that Capitol rioters who committed violent crimes "need to pay for that", upon being asked about Trump's pardon of Capitol attack defendants, he replied: "Well, are we making a big deal about the pardons that Biden put in place? That'd be worse."[50]
helped U.S. Capitol Police build barricades and protect the doors to the House Chamber from the rioters
There were tens of thousands of people there and we know lots of Antifa and other non MAGA were present. He had no way of knowing who might come through the doors whether friend or foe.
declined to wear a mask
Shows he wasn't falling for any hysterics and was sceptical of Covid
said the Capitol police officer had no choice but to shoot
Mullins "“His actions will be judged in a lot of different ways moving forward, but his actions I believe saved people’s lives even more. Unfortunately, it did take one, though.”
I refer back to the friend or foe statement. These comments were also taken just a couple of days after Jan 6.
rioters who committed violent crimes "need to pay for that"
There were violent rioters there and we know who they were. MAGA folk knew who they were on the day and called them out.
And finally he says the pardons Biden is dishing out are worse than Trump's of the Jan 6 defendants. This guy is not swayed by media hype and sees who the real criminals are.
I think a better idea of his loyalty is that he supports the claim the 2020 election was stolen from Trump.
I don’t understand why take a reliable ally from the Senate by bringing in Markwayne Mullin, especially when our majorities in both chambers are razor thin. He should have just brought back the very competent Chad Wolf, which he should have done from the start. Kristi Noem was never a good choice. Like Pam Bondi, she’s always been a daffy grandstander, and Noem has always been a questionable administrator. Her most noteworthy accomplishment as DHS Secretary was her affair with Corey Lewandowski and dubious photo ops. Tom Homan has been running the show anyway and doing a fantastic job on both the administrative and PR fronts.
Kristi Noam wasn't a bad choice, she was hand-picked by president Trump. She isn't being fired, she's being promoted to being a Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas. This covers the entire western hemisphere, quite a promotion.
Trump's removal of appointees has (almost) always been like a coach pulling a player off the field and throwing another into the same position. She's done her job well!
Problem with DHS is not at the top. Numerous sleepers in there are intentionally causing all kinds of chaos, including intentionally trying to provoke ICE protestors. Literally Nazis inside FEMA, agent provocateurs inside ICE, foreign agents inside TSA, sleepers inside Secret Service (hopefully clean now), and saboteurs inside Coast Guard. The whole thing is unconstitutional and will eventually be fully weaponized against US Christians unless it is terminated. ICE can be moved under DoW to make it Constitutional per Article IV, Section 4.
Arguably DHS is a direct extension of the CIA/Mossad control apparatus specifically created for that purpose after 9-11-2001.
A less-than-brilliant person who makes overly emotional/fiery speeches that are ultimately without substance.
Im not agreeing or disagreeing; I'm simply defining.
It's a fair comment. I took it wrong at first, but you are correct. I could've sited a better source than a CNN hack. There are beginning to be the normal sources reporting now.
The current Secretary, Kristi Noem, who has served us well, and has had numerous and spectacular results (especially on the Border!), will be moving to be Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas, our new Security Initiative in the Western Hemisphere we are announcing on Saturday in Doral, Florida. I thank Kristi for her service at “Homeland.”
She's moving to a newly created position. Is this a demotion or promotion? Time will tell...
Likely promotion. She has proven her loyalty, on to the next task.
Her mini-exposure operation inside DHS is now done, and she is being moved out for follow up operations by another (cleanup) team. Similar pattern as other departments with separate "exposure/investigate team", and "skull cracker/cleanup team". A similar method is used in corporations to do restructuring. Light touch with former team, Heavy touch with latter team.
I thought that I had heard that Markwayne Mullin helped Patrick Byrne with getting the election whistleblowers out of Venezuela - I thought he talked about it with Emerald Robinson...
The reason given for Kristi Noem's removal as Homeland Security Secretary.
According to an administration official, President Trump fired Noem due to “a culmination of her many unfortunate leadership failures,” including:
The fallout from immigration enforcement operations in Minnesota, which resulted in the deaths of two U.S. citizens.
The controversial $220 million ad campaign she led, which featured her urging undocumented immigrants to self-deport — a campaign she claimed Trump approved, but which the White House denied.
Allegations of infidelity with her top aide, Corey Lewandowski.
Mismanagement of her staff and constant feuding with agency heads like CBP and ICE.
The final and most critical trigger, according to multiple reports, was Noem’s claim that Trump personally approved the ad campaign, which contradicted Trump’s own statement that he “never knew anything about it.” This act of attempting to use the president as cover for her own actions reportedly angered Trump and became the “final straw.”
I’m from Oklahoma and the only thing that bothers me is he was in the top 5 of US Senators that have made money off the stock market since he was elected. Insider trading?
Everything you said.
I'm here Holding The Line in Northern Commifornia.
You've seen the meme? Tiny tugboat next to Yuge Ocean Liner.
Yep. The tugboat (of FRAUD in MIN and Waltz) next to the Ocean Liner (of FRAUD IN COMMIFORNIA UNDER GUV HAIRDO NEWSCUM)
We don't hate tyranny/commies ENOUGH.
I am from Oklahoma and I will say Markwayne Mullin is a RINO, does not represent Oklahoma, he is not trustworthy, and has greatly increased his personal wealth in the time he has been in office in excess of what is believable with his salary and his businesses.
POTUS trusted the wrong people before, and, apparently, did not learn a lesson the first time around.
What the fuck??!!? if he replaces Noem with Mullin, don't we lose yet another senator? What is Trump thinking? Reps don't exactly have a super majority right now.

Wellll, if it's from Wikipedia the only way it could be MORE reliable is if it was on CNN...
Kek
That is the point...that seems to be an OUTRIGHT LIE on Wikipedia...hmmm
The Truth is the OPPOSITE of everything written on Wikipedia
ashli babbitt was a crisis actor, and there was no plausible reason to shoot her.
therefore this guy is a lying pos
Doesn’t exactly sound like the kind of fella that we need.
Like I said earlier, he is willing to change his mind when President Trump sets the narrative. What more could we ask for?

Second highest after honor. Learned that from the film Striking Distance I saw when I was a kid. I never forgot it.

Exactly...........
Trump's removal of appointees has (almost) always been like a coach pulling a player off the field and throwing another into the same position. She's done her job well!
She’s perfect for that role and proven.

There’s literally Chinese management at DHS that regularly travel back and forth between China and America.
So you’re 100% correct - until you remove the management chain, changing the head does nothing.

Maybe that's why he moved her - DHS is shut down anyway, one step from being perma-shuttered, and he didn't want to lose her.
Oklahoma will replace him with someone just as good.
"daffy grandstander" WTF is that??
A less-than-brilliant person who makes overly emotional/fiery speeches that are ultimately without substance. Im not agreeing or disagreeing; I'm simply defining.
Umm, the CNN news anchor? I’m gonna take this information with a huge bucket of salt.
Edit: Well, I stand corrected. Looks like she got something correct for a change.

Frida from ABBA says so.
Oh ffs. It's already all over the place. Go look.
Sorry, just got back inside. I did find it and edited my original comment. Not a slight on you DRan but on the CNN Scott Pressler.

Thanks fren
Ah, resting beoyotch face? She’d write it in the worse way possible.
This is one I definitely do not agree with since he just replaced Kristi Noem with RINO Markwayne Mullin.
This is not inline with MAGA.
Patience my pede, there is always an angle we miss when Trump does things that seem questionable....
Yup.
Consider: If he's a RINO, and OK is red:
*It "should be" doable to replace him with someone who's MAGA.
*This would remove a Senate RINO/wild card and virtually ensure an OK MAGA Senator/vote.
and
*If he doesn't perform as expected in this role, he'll out himself, possibly get canned and likely hurt his possibilities for "future advancement".
I like your way of thinking!
My favorite Trump Play, is the Jessie Liu Play.
Maybe it's Trump's way to clear a Senate seat and get a MAGA person in?
This play has purpose. Trump keeping the skaters on the ice fresh.

But now the news will be even less attractive.
Or perhaps that is it...don't make a beautiful woman dirty herself in the storm that's about to come
I would not have bet money on her being out before Bondi. But wtf do I know?
How long would Senate confirmation take? Given the backlog in the Senate, that is. Would he get to skip to the head of the queue?
Pam Pam Pam next
Proverbs 29:18 King James Version 18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Looks at watch.....tic tic tic tic.. Can we please get on with it and take the Shah of Iran down here in California?
I believe California is the First Domino to fall that brings all the Domino's down.
Read that scripture again in Proverbs. But he that keepeth the law aka, our United States Constitution, happy is he.
Our Constitution is rapidly being destroyed, circumvented and cast aside for Communism.

I think that verse may be referring to the mosaic law
Yeah I had a feeling about that but laws of countries are laws and we have a law that's our law of We The People.
By the way the Anglo Saxon Caucasians are the lost ten tribes of Israel. The Constitution is our law now.

So what is Special Envoy to The Shield of the Americas? Does anyone know about that? It's her new job evidently.
Maybe they will clear out Florida...
Bondi is the one who should go.
If the guy is legit then I will like him.
When Noem came up against the buzzsaw of senator John Roberts I feared for her. I don’t see how all this sorts out.
Does anyone read any of LH Grey's stuff?

Every single county in the state voted for Trump.
Texan here. I really hate to say it, but them Oklahomans are more red than the indians.
👍 thanks.
