In my opinion, he had a good run. Let him retire from this swamp and let the young handle the rest. But its not up to me and if Trump is gonna run, I am voting for him again lol.
We cannot forget that he is 80 years old right now. Not that age is a huge factor here, but it is still a factor. How long can a man at his age keep up the grueling pace the job of the presidency demands? Although, he seems a lot like my own mother. She is going on 92, sharp as a tack, and still very active. She can do circles around many half her age and honestly, she has not slowed down much at all. NO STATINS for her that have taken the minds of so many her age.
Yes, there is an argument to be made for handing the baton off to someone younger and let him retire in peace. But can any of us really see Trump actually retiring? His mission to save this country has kept us and him going these last years. The job is far from being finished. We know it and so do our enemies - both foreign and domestic.
Next, who exactly is there on the bench that can carry that mission forward? Honestly, the only one on the bench that even comes close is possibly Rubio. He knows the swamp and has an excellent clear head for foreign policy - an absolute must given the world we live in with the threat Islam and Communism play and who's sole mission is to destroy us. Rubio understands this probably better than anyone. Vance in IMO, has a great deal more to learn and would be eaten alive by the swamp. He is still pretty green and needs more time to cook - especially when it comes to foreign policy. To me it seems like he is trying to figure it all out much less have a clear vision for going forward.
Then there are the networks in the private sector that Trump has built over the years. Do any of them have the popularity to rally the base? From what I can see, none of the possible candidates has the kind of clout and experience necessary that can pull together both private and public support. None of them can place that qualification on the table. Trump truly is one of a kind and the shoes he would leave behind are some pretty big ones to fill.
I am with you fren. If Trump finds a way to pull it off, I will vote for and support him again. No matter his age.
The only way Trump & Republicans sweep midterms is if the economy fairy unfucks the economy and shit gets remarkably better in the next 3 months, which doesn't look like its gonna happen. Will we win alot, yes. Will it be a sweep? Not a chance.
People need to realize that things actually are better. Gas is cheaper. Eggs are cheaper. Food inflation is near zero for the first time I can remember. We are winning.

I love him, but I think he's trolling. He just turned 80. He's a great man, but still just a human and he deserves to be able to retire and enjoy his time he has left with his family.

My own mother is going on 92 and has not slowed down much at all over the years. Mentally she is as sharp as ever and physically she is in better shape than most half her age. She is always busy doing something. So, if she is any example, age is a minor factor here with regards to Trump. He is a man with a mission and he will not simply retire and walk away from that. As long as he is willing to stay in the game and move forward, I will be right behind him.
