It's like a religious movement. The fully indoctrinated converts are thrilled to share their "message of salvation" and to show everyone that they have "found the light".
Unfortunately, most of them are also drinking the Kool-aide. We know how that ends.
I thought the same thing, but it’s more of a cult than just a religious movement. Now they’re “saved” and want to save everyone else. They wear their religious garb whenever they’re out, and don’t question anything. Their holy men tell them what is or isn’t acceptable, often completely reversing their stance from not too long ago. Anyone who doesn’t believe is evil and a heretic.
That's not really true on either count. People leave cults all the time. I have known several myself who have done so.
On the other hand, everyone who leaves a religion is constantly hounded to return. They are pressured by everyone around them. There are interventions. Its crazy the amount of propaganda that goes on to keep people in any particular "religion."
I have experienced that first hand.
I disagree with your statement based on my own anecdotal evidence to the contrary on both counts.
I assert that the only real difference between "cult" and "religion" is whether or not you are an adherent.
Cult like behavior is when any movement not only claims some novelty of special revelation hidden from the rest of mankind, but also characterized by discouragement or consequences for its members to inquire into the rational basis of the belief system or practices, nor if there are concerns about the character and behavior of a (typically charismatic) leader of the movement. You know its a cult like movement if you cannot freely and openly study and question the logical coherence of its belief system, and also if it consistently shies away from taking its strongest criticisms seriously and fairly.
Yes cult like behavior can and does exist within say the broader Christian tradition and its various offshoots, especially in American and other folk traditions susceptible to superstitious thinking or heavily experiential religious affections.
As an aside, this is why I am in the Presbyterian tradition with eyes wide open, at its best it has functional built in checks and balances throughout the church government in regards to doctrines and practices, specifically to protect the members from abusive or heretical or cultic leadership, and the standards are found within biblically based historical creeds and confessions that stood the test of time. I at least can assure you Calvinists understand the corruptibility of human behavior better than anyone else I can think of, and in church governance they planned for it to be a continual issue so implemented many stop gaps and systems of accountability. Still perhaps imperfect but closest to the New Testament model and worlds away from anything-goes religious despots.
It's actually an interesting discussion to me, but I don't think I agree with your conclusion, at least not fully. I suppose you could have a cult that doesn't destroy its members where people are free to come and go whenever they want but they worship their leader as a God. And there are probably lots of religions we don't adhere to that nobody would really call cults. Maybe you're not a Buddhist or a Baptist, but would you really call them cults?
Cult: A religion or religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false, with its followers often living in an unconventional manner under the guidance of an authoritarian, charismatic leader.
Who considers a cult to be "extremist"?
Those that do not share the belief system.
I consider all religions to be extremist (note: I am not talking about people with any particular belief system or spirituality, but the religious institutions themselves)
I consider all religious followers to live in an "unconventional manner" or at least delusional manner.
All religions have a "charismatic leader" that they consider to be a complete authority. For some religions that person is long dead, for others they are not. Which one is more delusional or extreme?
Maybe you're not a Buddhist or a Baptist, but would you really call them cults?
I am not calling anything a "cult". I am making the assertion that there is no difference between the two words "cult" and "religion" except by the belief system of those making the distinction in any particular case.
All religions, all cults, cast spells to make people not think for themselves. You are allowed to do research, but you are only allowed to believe the tenants of the religion. If your research doesn't lead you back to those tenants you are ostracized (or worse, depending on the religion). There is no fundamental difference between the spells being cast, the spellcasters, or the institutions that promote the casting of those sleeping spells.
The number of adherents only shows the popularity. That is not a fundamental difference.
Christianity was really small at one point. Hell, it was one person at one point. Popularity is an irrelevant, time dependent and insufficient distinction.
This is my response! I'm on conference calls at work and co-workers share that they got the shot X days ago and felt like crap for a couple of days, and say that it was worth it. And all I can think is that I work with a bunch of morons.
I know a bunch of people who actually HAD the Rona who still went and got vaccines. Because their doctor said so.
I really hope that every doctor pushing these things is bankrupted in the future when actual cures are released as President Trump said they would be. Cured people don't need GPs to dole out pills.
Your story is proof of the genius behind Trump running for Office. He was the only path forward for people disgusted by the creatures on both sides of the spectrum.
Welcome to the real world! I too, was a rabid leftist throughout my 20's, and it wasn't until I hit 30, the same age I became a Christian, that I saw the light spiritually, and worldly. It did take a little time to completely leave the Democrat party though; I actually voted for Dukakis (ugh, I just threw up in my mouth a little) :)
I've been asked the same thing by coworkers who are now "relieved" they can go outside now that they've had their death shot. One person had not gone out to eat in a year.
In this case "No." is a complete sentence. When it came out I said I don't want aborted fetus cells or gene therapy, but that didn't go over well. Now I just say "no" and move on to a different subject. No one's business what I put into my body, except for God.
And it's infuriating that the Cabal knows full well that all they have to do is make people afraid of something and then present the "solution" and these dummies will just eat it right up!
As a nurse, I'm amazed at how many nurses have taken the shot and cannot understand why I won't. They totally believe the "science" behind this, even though there's no actual evidence of real science involved.
The difference is the proverbial "two kinds of people": the ones who trust the "System" and the medical/pharmaceutical industry. They'll get injected with WHATEVER they are told to get injected with. They get flu shots every year because their "doctor said so".
And then there's the ones who don't trust the System or its medical/pharmaceutical industry. We're the only ones willing to even look at negative info about vaccines. The other side won't read or consider any information that goes against their programming.
Same. I'm seriously shocked at the level people have gone to trusting everything and verifying nothing.
I get bombarded by a message to sleeve up, and we've all heard the stories said in a condescending tone. But they add to use critical thinking from credible sources and add CDC...well there you have it. Nurses are supposed to trust CDC. Hospice and seeing what goes on 1st hand in the nursing facilities was an eyes wide open and confirmed everything I was told from chem professor.
It's scary how they zombify the NF residents on meds. I've watched resident and after resident come off off their polypharmacy and thrive for a few mos til whatever disease their polypharmacy caused, i.e. kidney disease as an example is the cause of death. Meanwhile people buy into the lie the pills are keeping them alive.
Polypharmacy is a good example of people's blind trust in medicine. I've worked in geriatrics for the most part, and the med pass takes up most of the shift. It's not unusual for the residents to be on up to twenty different medications. The side effects from those meds is what keeps most patients there IMO.
So sorry to hear that. I have a family member who acts similarly. They live in a different country, which has gone full blown lockdown, which just validates their delusions. No talking to them either. I just pray that this ends soon and people's eyes are opened to what it's really about.
We've gotten a lot closer to friends who are NOT stupid. And unfortunately the distance between us and our more gullible loved ones has increased. I look forward to the days when the finally learn the truth. I do miss them, despite their media mind control situation.
Honestly these people punish THEMSELVES for their own stupidity in being enmeshed in the Cabal system this way. Most of us here have lived full and fairly normal lives this past year with no fear. Contrast that to the people who locked themselves away with a mask in their own home.
My response...no joke “Are you fucking crazy? I’m not getting that shit. It’s a fucking experiment.”. I find out very quickly their position and regardless, I follow up with some fun facts. The conversation gets fun after that.
I just calmly tell them I've listened to the doctors on both sides and gone with the ones making the most compelling and substantive argument. If they try to tell me to trust the science or the professionals I calmly explain that there are scientists and doctors on both sides and I am simply siding with the ones making more sense. When they push you on why you chose the side you, tell them first it's the argument they're making. But THEN, push their lefty buttons. Tell them when you've got every major billionaire run corporation, bank, politician, etc frantically pushing you to get one that's a big red flag. They know that fits perfectly into their "eat the rich" LARP and it drives them crazy knowing corrupt established money and power is on their side. You have to hold strong and let them get emotional.
I just had a terrible thought..... even if we don't get the "shot", what about all the blood banks? What if you have to have blood for an accident or surgery? What if all the blood being donated is blood from people who have gotten the shots? Would this taint our own blood?

I suspect that vac+ and Rona+ people will be denied donating blood in the future once this psyop is over. I want to stay as clean as possible.
Not if you choose auto-infusion which 'recycles' your own blood back to you, or request some family member with the same blood type to donate blood for you.
I just tell people I am a Universal Blood Donor and cannot take the vaccine in order to prevent tainted blood from being used on the unsuspecting population.
We have friends that both got the shot. Her head is still so far up her she can't see daylight. He is beginning to worry that listening to her has led them to the grave.
She has stated; "every one of them asks with excitement, and they are excited to tell me that they have had theirs."
Saw something on Gab this morning with a woman commenting on getting the vaccine - "It's like belonging to an exclusive club!"
It shows you the mindset of some of the people that are getting it - that it isn't a medical procedure, it's their little badge that says "I'm better than you!", similar to being able to brag about buying a bigger house or taking a pricier vacation.
Same thing I always say (taken from someone here because it's perfect...thanks anon):
Imagine being so retarded you get an experimental shot by known population control enthusiasts.
I just say I'm a Jew, Gates is the fruit of the eugenics tree, and that I won't be getting a Jew-killer vaccine. No one ever says anything. Just a deer-in-the-headlights look and the conversation ends.

Someone needs to come up with a one-size-fits-all answer that is both revelatory and existential in nature. A simple "no" or "yes" does nothing except trigger the recipient one way or the other. But something like "Does the Pope hide pedophiles?" or "The Universe knows".... those are just poor examples. Anyone coming up with the ideal answer to the question will win the internet for the day.
You could also do something to make them concerned (and to think).
"I did. Have YOU been tested for blood clotting or low platelet count yet?"
or
"I was advised by an official NOT to take the shot. They said they needed the right people to still be able to have children afterwards. What do you think they meant?"
I like the "Does the Pope hide pedophiles?" quip. Reminds them if you can't trust your holy man, how can you trust your doctor, much less your gubmint!
Ask them (loud enough for others to hear) how their Herpes STD test results came out. If they deny it, comfort them. That they understand they don't want that information getting out in public.
It's past time to shame these people in whatever way you can.
I had a client who at the end of our session, proudly and boastfully said, "I've been volunteering at the vaccination site at insert Dem city, Washington state
I just said "oh, we'll have a great day"
I could not give her the satisfaction that she was looking for, of being some kind of hero to herself . .it just made me squirm.
On another occasion she flipped out on me because I didn't take her temp before our session.
This is literally making people neurotic and annoying as hell
Some possibilities. It's childish. Public school has rewarded them for compliance so they expect to be rewarded in society (by approval?)
Or their presumption is agenda driven peer pressuring, suggesting that everyone must share their opinion.
Or, tiring of all the ff divisions ppl are eager to find universal agreement.
I think you are on to something! The "everyone deserves a trophy" mentality affects a lot of their behavior. It seems that people over 70 almost universally accept whatever doctors tell them, people between 50 and 70 seem to have a healthy distrust of doctors, and people under 50 are so totally indoctrinated by MSM and public education that they accept whatever the government, "recognized scientist or doctor", or some celebrity, tells them.
Someone could do a great psychological study of all of this. When the twin towers were hit on 9/11, I don't know the percent breakdown, but a certain fraction continued to head down the stairs even after the building safety announcement said to go back to their offices. Those who heeded that "authority" died, the others lived. I know people my mother's age, think medical doctors are like God, and don't question anything they are told (they think Fauci is the great savior of the world). It's probably due to a limited sample size that I made those broad age group generalizations :)
I was of course, generalizing, so I didn't mean to indicate that EVERYONE under 50 has been indoctrinated; congrats to all those under 50 who have been able to resist it! (and yes, I'm in the 50 to 70 bracket :) )
"Logic is the beginning of wisdom-not the end." --Spock
It's truly astounding that so many lack the ability to reason for themselves. If this vaccine turns out to be a eugenics plan to eliminate the collectively minded from the genetic pool, perhaps the needs of the few do outweigh the needs of the many when the many are are so irrational.

Oc-cult. Hidden. Secretive.
What is the difference between these two things?
One can slip in and out of a religious movement. Cults don't let you leave.
That's not really true on either count. People leave cults all the time. I have known several myself who have done so.

This conversation reminds me of this episode
Religion is the usual, cults are the unusual.
The real difference is number of followers. If I have 1,000,000 armed zealots and take Virginia, we’ll make sure Virginians call us a religion.
The number of adherents only shows the popularity. That is not a fundamental difference.
Christianity was really small at one point. Hell, it was one person at one point. Popularity is an irrelevant, time dependent and insufficient distinction.
And how’d the romans feel about Christ cult?
I think you missed the point.
Beat me to it.
I know, right ! It's medical evangelism.
WoKe SciENcE (TM) is the religion of left and braindead. It protects them from critical thinking.
The Church of Government Scientism.
I like this. Well stated. ?
Good, let the sheep sterilize themselves. We aware patriots can repopulate the world and fill it with smart people.
wtf I love eugenics now
Yeah, amazing isn’t it?? Think MIRROR.
I already have four girls, and none of them are getting that shot.
Strangely, I don't think I'll relish the sweet revenge of saying "You sound like a religious fanatic" to ppl who once thought the same of me. :/
Considering that is targeting foolish people who are NOT the enemy....yeah, I'd rather save those salvos for the REAL enemy.
Free Nikes to go with the kool-aid
"No,...I'm in the control group. We have to wait and see what happens to the different experimental groups first"
Oh that's GOOD. That's REALLY GOOD. I'm going to have to use that!
This is my response! I'm on conference calls at work and co-workers share that they got the shot X days ago and felt like crap for a couple of days, and say that it was worth it. And all I can think is that I work with a bunch of morons.

This is my answer too. It works pretty well. If they get mad just say that they don't "Trust the science (TM)". They should back off after that.
I’ve used that one four times now. My fav go-to ??
Another I heard, probably on here too, is "I identify as vaccinated" :)
kek
i just tell them " yeah i got all 3 of them, total of 5 shots "
2+2=5
and im gonna score the euro ones off Ebay
I’m giving them away FREE in my garage...just stand in the middle of that tarp & I’ll be right back.
lol
Tell them you are family friends with the ex vp of Pfizer.
Say he told you to absolutely not get the jab.
Well, he really HAS been a true and loyal friend to awake people, so....
Your story is proof of the genius behind Trump running for Office. He was the only path forward for people disgusted by the creatures on both sides of the spectrum.
Some of my best friends are dumb, uneducated, coca-cola guzzling john deere riding big-business-loving ignorant homophobic christian zealots. So what?
My point exactly. Normies will never wake up! It time to do some winning cause I’m tired of the BS

Dukakis was a better choice than CIA George to be honest.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me I once was lost, but now am found Was blind but now I see
"No, I don't take experimental shots from advocates of population control."
Population REDUCTION, you mean. Great answer!!
Good point, much clearer!

What a damned mess.
Its Japan. I am a rare blood type and I gets asked by the Red cross to donate all of the time. I'm donating this weekend. I am staying fake vaccine free, so I can continue to donate blood. I suspect that vac+ and Rona+ people will be denied donating blood in the future once this psyop is over. I want to stay as clean as possible.
Japan, yes that was it! I remember the whole AIDS/tainted blood thing and really wouldn't want to see that happen again.
Ugh my heart just sunk. I hadn't even considered that.
This is what everyone should be asking
Not if you choose auto-infusion which 'recycles' your own blood back to you, or request some family member with the same blood type to donate blood for you.
I just tell people I am a Universal Blood Donor and cannot take the vaccine in order to prevent tainted blood from being used on the unsuspecting population.
Sup O Buddy?!
It would be a fascinating study in the results of mind control and virtue signaling. This is an interesting thought, OP.
We have friends that both got the shot. Her head is still so far up her she can't see daylight. He is beginning to worry that listening to her has led them to the grave.

There's a real sickness here and it's not Covid.
Same thing I always say (taken from someone here because it's perfect...thanks anon):

I just say I'm a Jew, Gates is the fruit of the eugenics tree, and that I won't be getting a Jew-killer vaccine. No one ever says anything. Just a deer-in-the-headlights look and the conversation ends.
The look on thier faces when i say you can still catch the coof and can still spread the coof and that it only lessens thier symptoms if they catch the coof is priceless.??
"Might" reduce the symptoms.
But what about muh 95% efficacy!!!!!!????
95% effective at lessening your symptoms if you catch the coof.
I've told several people this and they claim I'm uninformed or fell for propaganda.
Honk, honk. lol!
Yeah, ask what your recent cholesterol results were, or what was their last BMI calculation.
Nobody is fat by choice! But everyone has an asshole. Yours covers you entire body!
You are your own God, Right? Educate yourself
I act like I never heard of it.
Love that. Act completely stupid. “What’s covid?” Lol
You are friend, a thespian among fools

Answer more mysteriously... to make them question themselves. :>)
"I got the REAL shot... not the ones they are giving to everyone else".
I like this one. Should make heads explode.
Maybe their religious zealotry invites my, "Got Jesus." response.
You could also do something to make them concerned (and to think).

No, thanks for asking, I have pre-existing conditions and don't want to get the post-vaccine covid infection we hear so much about. :'D
I have actually used:
"I have responsibilites, I can't afford to be disabled or to die."
followed by "I am at low risk without the 'vaccine' "
I like the "Does the Pope hide pedophiles?" quip. Reminds them if you can't trust your holy man, how can you trust your doctor, much less your gubmint!
''No, I'm not going to use my white privilege to butt ahead in line of someone who might need it more.'' Look how virtuous I am!

I had a client who at the end of our session, proudly and boastfully said, "I've been volunteering at the vaccination site at insert Dem city, Washington state I just said "oh, we'll have a great day" I could not give her the satisfaction that she was looking for, of being some kind of hero to herself . .it just made me squirm. On another occasion she flipped out on me because I didn't take her temp before our session.
This is literally making people neurotic and annoying as hell
Some possibilities. It's childish. Public school has rewarded them for compliance so they expect to be rewarded in society (by approval?) Or their presumption is agenda driven peer pressuring, suggesting that everyone must share their opinion.
This is prepping you to accept everyone, mostly govt, in your business via medicine. They won't stop there. Bill Gates is coming for your food.

It's truly astounding that so many lack the ability to reason for themselves. If this vaccine turns out to be a eugenics plan to eliminate the collectively minded from the genetic pool, perhaps the needs of the few do outweigh the needs of the many when the many are are so irrational.
I would just say, "I'm not that fucking stupid".
Pull your pants down and fart on them
"Why? Are you offering bourbon?"
What does your mother tell those that ask her?
"I been shot a couple times..."
"No, I prefer living".
Needs to be a study? Yes, for a nice juicy research grant.
