So my Fortune 500 Financial Services firm just mandated the jab. No way I'm getting the vax so I need to make a quick decision: I'm eligible for early retirement so do I go down that road (which has heathcare and 401k benefits) or hold out and let them fire me (then take legal action)? The Patriot in me wants to hold out and let them can me but it's hard to turn down the retirement options (for my family's sake). Any pedes out there in a similar situation? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! WWG1WGA!

Go for the early retirement then find ways to use all that newly free time to help others fight!
YES!!! My thoughts exactly! Work is a giant distraction in this fight...just imagine if we all spent 100% of our time in this information war...it would likely be over by now. Thanks!
I'll give an example of what I did in 2005 when I found out the acquisition of the company I worked for by a global mega corp resulted in the service shop for rental assets becoming less important. As I was selling on ebay and doing quite well, I found the job was interfering with my sales, so I just quit one fine day in June 05.
Never regretted my decision, however, might have done a lot more putting aside a % of what I made into an untouchable rainy day fund.. At 76, there aren't too many options open now, the lockdown dried up my sources of revenues and the mask mandate took ALL of the fun out of cruising the thrifts and pawns..
Wish you were close, I have a ton of stuff from parent's estate that I would love for someone to sell for me. I'm in Texas.
I can advise you here and now about how to deal with large volumes of smalls and larger pieces: designate rooms for antiques, vintage items and smalls (for instance porcelain statues, pottery). If you watch Antique Roadshow, that is a perfect primer for identifying antiques or mid century design. Research what you find see and be thorough enough, because you never know when you will find a holy grail item. Mark the items with an identifier and log it with estimated value.
Then what you should do is research auction houses/venues in your area and really dig in on their reputations and what % they charge. If you do all this, I do believe your parents trust in your decisions will be a profound experience.. I know, for I felt my dear mothers love.
To give you a personal experience here: June 2011 I attended my mothers passing by being there 11 days before she passed. She asked me to help my stepfather several times and I reassured her I would.. in going through her estate, I found the box of sterling flatware and showed my stepdad and he said he'll just put it on the curb. I said NO WAY, I have a connection with a PM buyer-this proved to be a nearly $2,000 return, which gave him the cash to buy some very needed replacement appliances!! You just never know.
Thank you for this!!!
You are so very welcome! 25-30 years of buying and selling a very eclectic selection of things from fountain pens to Swiss music boxes. I am happy to share my experiences..
What part of TX?
Central
If you have the option of early retirement, then that is what I would do. We all fight this in our own way.
If I didn't have that option, then I would for sure fight hard and dirty and use the law as much as I could, but I have no faith in the legal system anymore.
Get yourself free and devote your time to helping others reach their own awakening :)
This is what I was thinking
Any attorney you talk to will cuck and say "this is uncharted ground the courts havent decided how they are going to land on this" or something of that nature. They are mostly cowards and wont risk a losing case even if its morally and constitutionally righteous.
Regardless, in the end, my wife and I are doing what we feel is right and not revealing vaxx status and letting the chips fall where they may. Even though the future is uncertain, to paraphrase Apollo 13, "I think this will be our finest hour."
Better than the dipshit lawyer my husband contacted. He screamed at my husband "Call a republican, not a democrat!" and hung up!
Obviously this person has not played devils advocate ...argued both sides...mock trial ...any of those things lawyers are supposed to do....
Very helpful. I'm getting the sense that not many attorney's are willing to take something like this on unless it's a bigger, broader, class action type of situation. Sounds like you are in a similar predicament - best of luck to you and your wife!
Take the early retirement. Explain why you are. Other anons have stated the issue with cucked lawyers and โunchartedโ territory.
They must've not been American Frontline Doctor attorneys.
Look them up.
I have a friend who is trying to get legal help from America's Frontline Doctors and they have not responded in 4 weeks. I'm hoping it is because they are backed up but still, that is a long time to not respond.
Theyโre busy suing Kaiser Permanente. Filed yesterday.
Same here, I've reached out to their attorneys, local attorneys, and Child Defense Fund and nada. It's a big black hole.
My husband said they won't do anything until after you have damages such as already being fired.
Use GA resources to find lawyers. Simple search on this board has a ton:
https://greatawakening.win/search?params=resources&community=GreatAwakening
This is probably best.
Thank you! And yes, trying to line up a discussion with an attorney over the weekend.
Definitely talk to the attorney first, but my take is grab what you can and make a break for it. Our movement has plenty of martyrs getting canned and having nothing. You're in a fortunate position so Take the retirement and then spend your free time informing others and advocating against the cabal.
yep
This! There are plenty of us who arenโt old enough to retire and have been/will be fired. Take your money and benefits for yourself and your family and use your free time to research legal resources and help for those of us left in the workforce. Also, congrats on retiring, thatโs awesome! ๐๐ปโบ๏ธ
Where the fuck are the lawyers willing to fight for the right thing? Such cowards relying on waitinf for a braver man to forge the path first. Pussies.
If you work for a large company, you can probably take a leave of absence. If you claim for mental health - depression, anxiety, etc - you can get short term disability, and get up to 80% of your current pay for up to 6 months, and your job is protected during this timeframe (unless the employer decides that the job is no longer needed - in that case, itโs illegal for them to hire again for that position within a certain timeframe). After 6 months of STD, your payment gets reduced to 60%. The nice thing about going this route, is that the company PAYS YOU to do nothing. Make them pay for their stance on the vaxx
Be very careful when claiming mental health issues, red flag laws regarding you know what confiscation are real (not constitutionally legal but real).
True, but if theyโre already on medications to treat these issues, then it doesnโt really matter. Iโm sure this could be applied to all medical conditions, but mental health is one that could potentially go on for 30 months with STD (at least in my state). Iโm just trying to offer other solutions to the OP.
One last thought: fuck red flag laws. If they try to take your guns, then Iโm sure the individual that made that purchase knows why they bought one in the first place
All valid points, just offering something to think about.
I live in deep blue territory and would not put it past any of the liberals in this area to make fake complaints against g owners. Yes we have them legally for protection but how many of us are really prepared for that knock on the door?
Solid advice.
Thanks! It is indeed a large company and I have though about a LOA. Something to consider but then I'm still trapped in the matrix. I think I'm ready to cut ties all together but will definitely look into it further.
Thank you. I'm not fulfilled at all in my career so I'm actually excited about potentially moving on. Scary as hell, because income drops to 0 (at least temporarily), but exciting at the same time. I work at a "woke" company which has a profile/type of individual/lifestyle they are looking to promote into upper mgmt and I don't fit in that category (at all). Chances of me getting ahead any further are slim so looking at this as an opportunity...
I don't think std's are covered under mental health // kek
Go for early retirement and spend your time fighting this righteous battle
Total opinion... I'm not an attorney. I think you answered your own question above: "for my family's sake".
And... you are probably a talented person, and it will hurt them to lose you. It is not patriotic, in my opinion, to forsake your family's needs and sacrifice yourself and them for the greater good--which is the opposite side of the same coin as Fauci who says get the vax and do your duty for the greater good.
I know many here won't agree with me and say WWG1WGA. And that we need to stick together. BUT, there are many ways to do battle... and removing your talent from their operation is a good tactic. Even better... find a competitor who does not require the jab, or become a consultant to a competitor.
There are a lot of variables at play. Again... family first. Always.
I can't tell you how incredibly helpful these responses have been. And your response is particularly thoughtful and touching. Thank you. I'm pretty clear on what I need to do...family first then take up the fight on the other side. Hell, with nearly 100% of my time dedicated to "fighting the good fight" i may even be a force.
Thanks again.
I'm honored. Go get 'em.
My family was fortunate. My spouse took retirement from his lifelong career and worked at a local private school for a couple of years before "retiring" from that as well. This was in the year before COVID was full blown, but he saw it coming and said, "No thank you." It's been the best decision we could have made. We used one of our "extra" retirement savings accounts to pay off our house, so we don't even have that to worry about. You can do it! And I think you'll be glad you did. The rewards far outweigh the negatives.
I definitely agree.
Retire and support your family. It screws over the company, it makes sure you are set and keeps you from having to worry so much about it.
TBH, Im all.for fighting.
But, if you can retire early. I'd prob go that rout.
Early Retirement!
Be smart, take retirement. Otherwise, down the road, you will regret your decision. You earned it, donโt jeopardize it!
I would write a letter to HR informing them of your decision to retire, reluctantly, due to the unconstitutional mandate to force vaccinations. Youโve done your time, collect what is yours, but do so in a way that lets it be known that you were given an ultimatum that goes against our basic human rights. Once youโve retired, invest your free time in combating these mandates. Be loud, show up at the state house, and spread the word.
Retiring reluctantly sounds an awful lot like โconstructive dismissalโ which is an actionable employment law violation.
They don't care
They donโt care yet, because for now they feel theyโre driving a movement. Eventually when they look back theyโll realize they were on the wrong side of history just the same as corporations that went woke.
Take the money and Run, then fight them from the outside and with freedom of movement.
Everybody as to make their own decisions.
For me there would be no question.
There is no such thing as EARLY retirement
There is retirement, period!
Take the retirement and smile all the way out the door.
Take the $$ and run while it's still worth something
How and why? Please read this article. Its important.
https://thefederalist.com/2021/10/07/joe-bidens-vaccine-mandate-doesnt-exist-its-just-a-press-release/
This communism via corporatism or something like that. Your company has no leg to stand on. Their legal team and HR should fire themselves. Pass this on to your co workers and friends.
As this is so much worse than ANY corporate shenanigans of the past, I would take early retirement AND convert the 401K to a gold/silver physical holding.
YES!!!! My exact thinking. I can take advantage if i get out quickly and flip my 401k to metals. I simply would not be able to do that if I stay with the firm. Already called Noble Gold to discuss with them...any other recommendations on precious metals IRA brokers (physical metals only) are welcome!!
Thank you so much!
True, BUT, I am not talking about fiat, I am talking about a fiat$ based retirement system and converting it to PM holding. Cash may be king, but PM backed currency is emperor class in itself.
Merely cashing out one ounce of gold gained out of this 401K conversion per month to cover costs and expenses of STOCKING up essentials makes more sense than a Arthur C. Clarke option come to life, ummm, when??
I started reading high grade scifi 65 years ago-Olaf Stapleton's Star Maker, Arthur C. Clarke. So, I am well aware that scifi precedes developments. 1st Contact has happened, Majic12 tells me so.. BUT, before we revel in our lack of aloneness we have to deal with the evils on this island earth.
I worked 26 years for the State of California. Federal and State Workers lose their pensions/benefits if fired (think Andrew McCabe). I couldn't do that, so I retired - - with less than one day's notice ;--)
My actual anchor-baby, commie SJW boss was Livid! But fuck her, and fuck California - I bought a house in Florida, and am moving there next month.
My humble opinion: Don't lose your 401k/pension and benefits; fight back in other ways.
Do what puts you in the best situation to take care of yourself, your family without being at the mercy of the scumbags.
Do the early retirement. If only to get that 40lk before it gets obliterated.
You earned it. Take it.
BEST OF LUCK TO YOU, MAY YOUR BOSSES AND CEOS BE PUT TO DEATH FOR GENOCIDE FUCK THEM ALL
Retire. Did so myself 3 years ago, pre-plandemic. Never looked back. Busier than ever, working at stuff that I want, instead of the big company.
Early retirement and spend time with family.
Easy choice.
There's enough of us patriots out here that will make them fire us.
My "playing chicken"date is November 1.
They are going to FAFO.
I wish I had an early retirement...
Thanks for you advice and best of luck to you and your family my friend.
Made a comment earlier but now itโs gone so someone didn't like it.
If you opt for early retirement have you been assured in writing that you will receive your benefits if you remain unvaccinated?
Thanks. No assurances so that's what makes this so difficult. You are right in that they may change the benefits structure for the unvaxxed. Something to take into consideration for sure.
The Patriot named "Unsilent" has my vote.......take the early retirement and then use your time to try and help others.
You're in a very fortunate position. I'd take the early retirement. God bless!
I"m not an attorney but retire and become a full time maga-activist.
In the long run you could probably do more good promoting patriot values over school boards, making sure local law enforcement isn't going to go gestapo, and getting involved in other local politics to make sure freedom is still a thing.
Take the retirement and MOVE ON with your life. BUT let them know WHY you are going for early retirement. And never forget: YOU ARE VALUABLE!!! IMHO it is not worth wasting your time with this company or with an attorney. (Unless you just want to line their pockets!) Use your energy and resources to FIGHT on other fronts. You will WIN by SUCCEEDING way beyond where they could have ever taken you if you had stayed.
Thank you for your inspirational comments! Getting out of the company which is embedded in the matrix has been something I've pondered for a while. Taking the fight on other fronts is very appealing...
No sense fighting if you don't have to. I'd recommend taking the retirement option. Retiring don't necessarily take you out of the fight. Rather, it puts you in a position of greater financial freedom, allowing you to fight battles of your own choosing. Like perhaps supporting the legal battles of your colleagues that don't have that option, or something like that. Or hitting them with endless FOIA demands, or reporting any and all known legal infractions they've committed that you are aware of. Etc, etc. The important thing is that you would be coming at it from a position of power. :-D
Take the retirement. You earned it and it will cost the company more money than letting them fire you. In my opinion not taking your retirement is letting them win.
Take the sure bet of early retirement...then put on Gods armor, pick up your sword and fight what can no longer restrain you.
Blessings on your journey, many you know are on the same path, you will find both comfort and courage along the way.
How long before "retirement benefits" ALSO require the vaxx?
Make a plan to deal with having them cancelled...
yep...thought about that too. I'm ready for that if it happened. As long as I have my 401k i should be good.
I'd take the retirement and find another job.
take your early retirement.. younger patriots will take on this fight.
I'd get-out before the Market crashes(?).
Yes, was thinking the same. it gives me more flexibility with my 401k - i'm pretty convinced that the bottom is going to drop out fairly soon and that's why I'm looking to do something quickly.
Sometimes these opportunities come round at just the right time ๐๐ผ
Can you take the early retirement and still make it clear it is because you object to the vax mandate? It seems like either way your being pushed out because of that, take the money. Remember living well is the best revenge.
I would take the retirement option. Pray about it. See what God says.
