When the rumors become true and the ruble becomes pinned to gold prices, the dollar will drop like a rock

It's already been pegged indirectly. Russia is buying all gold at 1 gram for 5,000 rubles. But they are also forcing Europe to buy natural gas in either gold or rubles. Europe has to decide between propping up the Ruble (and thus, jacking up the value of gold), or scavenging for gold directly to pay for natural gas. Or they can let their people freeze. It's OVER.

Don't be surprised if THIS is what causes World War 3. Ukraine is small potatoes compared to THIS.

You are correct.. It's over!!! I am not a "Ruttin for Puttin" type..... but, Dayum! He has the DS by the balls. Their only options are to concede to Russia or take the world to world war 3. I fear it may be the latter. Beans, bullets and bandaids are still worth buying. Sauce link https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/gotgoldorrubles-did-russia-just-break-back-west

This ensures WW3. The ever expanding fiat currency, with its ever contracting value cannot compete with anything of stable value. It is now survival of the fittest. Albert Pike will have his "three world wars."

The EU certainly knew it would lead to this. Hence Victoria Nuland's famous, "fuck the EU" quote. She was tipping over the first dominoes that would lead inevitably to the current situation. And everyone involved knew it.

Ukraine is the home of the kazarian mafia and is the deep state. Strangely all the Big Pharma companies are also based there. There are 2500 km of the deepest tunnel system on earth. Deepest subway station on earth might be a great place to hide biolabs or smuggling ops. Just saying!

The ruble will strengthen to a large degree against the USD, but what happens to all the other currencies is the key.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 13 ▼
– redtoe-skipper 13 points 4 years ago +13 / -0

It will strengthen against the Euro too, given the need for Germany to fulfill its need for gas and payment of that in Ruble.

Meaning: EURO and Dollar will slide .... and for the time being maybe Silver can offset some of the problems in the Euro. But in the end ..... what is worth nothing is not something to be used for payment in exchange for goods and services.

I don’t think the Ruble even need to be pegged to Gold for the USD or Euro to drop relatively, we’re affectively seeing it happen in real-time today.

The Ruble currently is essentially backed by Natural Gas or Oil… of which Europe has to buy, in this case natural gas.

So European countries will HAVE to settle their Gas purchases using Rubles. The assholes in Brussels and DC so believe that sanctioning Russia was a good idea.

They will have to buy Rubles with Euros, pumping demand for Rubles.

But since Russia can’t even use Euros (due to sanctions), the EU is effectively burning Euros for Gas, which will then require more money printing, which will decrease the value of the Euro (inflation), and on and on it goes.

It’s one big entire circus show, and Putin is playing them all.

Energy independence is key.

Spot on, I agree completely, so what's the counter short of kinetic engagement with Russia by DS? Lock down economy (further destroying independent producers, and allowing greater market share to multinationals), while reducing demand for energy, limiting global need for russian hydrocarbons (set aside green garbage for now) increase domestic production, prioritize resources to prop up the "reset" (UBI, digital ID, in exchange for survival rations). Once CBDC is in place, "going direct" fully implemented then the exchange rates are obsolete, and the Russian rebellion is neutralized and contained. They're definitely losing this tit for tat with Putin, truth be told it's embarrassing, and I'm cheering for the "fall of the cabal" just trying to game prospective strategies.

– basilpesto 1 point 4 years ago +1 / -0

Economic reduction to purposely reduce demand for energy is an interesting theory. Probably a needed precursor to the ‘Green New Deal’ / WEF bs green-energy garbage, at least in the US. In Europe, they are stuck with Russian energy for quite awhile.

I personally like renewables (which Nuclear is a part of, Germany dropped the ball on that one, lol) — but it’s important to engineer towards it, and fully realize the entire ‘chain’ e.g. energy logistics / how to get energy from A to B with the as little loss as possible. The WEF crowd use ‘green’ as a rallying cry specifically to push their hidden agenda, imo, they hardly care about green energy.

Russia can survive even without the US (we’re seeing a mass exodus from US companies now). Europe? Possibly as well.

The BRICS nations, possibly OPEC+ seem to be gearing up to be a combined super power.

My eyes are on China though, I do not trust the CCP.

China’s belt and road project has been a smashing success, I thought it would fail, but they now have rail likes directly to Moscow , Berlin, Brussels, Rotterdam, and London. I think China has lots of Gold and will gladly buy Russian commodities and then ship them back to Europe via rail. They don’t need to worry about the Navies surrounding the East China Sea anymore. You’re spot on Cousin, of the Sauces. History playing out again only on a more technological grander scale.

I do believe China has a Smaug-like horde of Gold, seen articles from time to time about this and especially when considering the culture and tradition of the significance of Gold towards prosperity.

The rail network is very interesting. I need to brush up more on that, it’s been awhile since I’ve looked into that.

And when Putin starts buying gold rather than selling like they expect. It is beginning to look like Putin has the Davos guys between a rock and a hard place, but only because that is exactly where they want to be as they collapse the US Dollar and the US economy. I hope all you guys have been prepping for the past few years and have what you need.

You could buy it prior to March 2. But then the Brokerages all banned trading of Russian securities. Prior to this ban, Putin halted trading on the Moscow exchange as well. But they just resumed trading again last week. So as a US citizen, you can’t buy Russian securities until the brokerages here unfreeze the trading.

That's my 2 cents fren! The current US dollar is a swamp instrument, it is not American at all. It's Rothchildian. Maybe those 3 conspired against the common enemy, the cabal, the swamp.

What do you call something that controls many vassal states, like Rome used to? You call it an empire right? The cabal is an empire. The head of state of USA, knowing he could not withstand the attack by this approaching empire made plans with 2 or 3 allies to destroy this empire. Actually, I think he chose to feign defeat in order to pull this off. I have good reason to believe that Trump still has the football & I would bet that Vlad & Xi know this, in fact are all in on it. This is probably the Q plan. "Military is the only way" Q never said U.S. military ;)

Buying the stocks has a lot of potential upside, but I do not understand how offering to buy gold at 5000 rubles per gram (or any other price) is "defending the currency". You defend a currency by buying it, not selling it.

This chart is also misleading. The Ruble took a complete nosedive end of Feb (right when this chart is conveniently cut off). It appears to be sky rocketing back to where it was originally.

Of course if it blasts through the old value, that's a completely different story (and it might).

Here is a longer timeline view of the ratio so you can see the nosedive and this most recent rapid recovery: https://www.google.com/finance/quote/RUB-USD?window=1Y

Clever Anons know that Gold shall kill the Fed. When Putin announced he is buying Gold for Roubles, and also that people need to pay Roubles for Oil, basically what he did was force everyone to ditch dollars and buy Gold (to buy Roubles) to purchase Oil.

Of course if it blasts through the old value, that's a completely different story

Only a matter of time. Even gaining a 100 times that is only inevitable. Not because Rouble is stronger, but because Fiat currencies will die and Fed will die.

As long as Putin follows this though, but then if he doesn't then we are all in trouble.

What’s very interesting is the speed of recovery, which is quite rare. I can’t recall any other currency in the past few decades rebounding like this.

What I find even more interesting is the dynamics at play behind all this currency stuff, e.g. Europe needing to buy Rubles to purchase Gas. That is hilarious, and slathered in a thick coat of irony :)

It’s also unclear if the Ruble will surpass the USD, but even if it does I don’t even know if it’s actionable in the real sense. Russia’s economy is quite contained, and their trading partners hardly need the US…. Well maybe Chy-nah!

Yes. I'm looking forward to Bannon and the gang weighing in on this. Good to hear the signal not noise viewpoint.. Russia has an economy the size of Italy, has a declining population, and relies heavily on energy exports. BUT, today, these are factors that can allow it to be self-sustaining in the face of Globalist fuckery. I too believe this is real Great Reset vs Great Awakening brinksmanship. I just pray, and have seen enough to believe, that our side is going to destroy the central banks and free humanity. A few days ago some were saying this financial unwind could take 6 months to 18 months. Now I'm not so sure. The train is gathering speed and rolling fast!

You can buy a 2 liter of Coca Cola for 90 rubles. In the United States, it costs roughly $2.

So my understanding from this chart and the soda metric is the ruble is worth twice as much as the US dollar.

I don’t think the Coca Cola example is a good one here, it’s far too relative. There is another metric called the Big Mac index or something like that — the theory is because Big Macs are made IN the country they are sold, it’s a litmus test on the health of the economy (not necessarily the currency).

Anyways, the chart just says that the Purchasing Power of the Ruble has increased relative to the USD.

From the graph, it shows that 89.25 rubles equals 1 dollar. Two weeks ago, March 15th, it was approximately 120 rubles equals 1 dollar. So, it takes approximately 30.75 less rubles to now equal 1 dollar. When it takes less of one thing to equal the same amount of another thing, the first thing gained. Which means the ruble is gaining against the dollar.

Indeed, you are parsing the correct information presented as the original post.

And yes he was schooled for his inability to read the original chart, but not due to ignorance though (we all make mistakes), but due to hubris and arrogance.

Reminds me of you actually, highly arrogant … rather than contribute in a meaningful way, you demean others.

But hey, feel free to contribute your narrative. I suggest something like this…

“Yes, but that chart is only 1M, where Russia’s Ruble plummeted at the beginning of the invasion. However, it has yet to recover to it’s relative value from Jan 1 of this year”

See? Not so hard is it?

It’s best to not disparage others if they don’t see your internal view right away, but try to contribute in the discussion and put your ideas out there. Invite perspectives and debate with maturity.

You know, like how folks on a Q board would do where research and confirmation of the truth is supposed to be principle vs. how you comment .. sort of like “a schizophrenic clown faggot that belong on Conspiracies.win” 😉

1 USD purchased 73 Ruble in January.

1 USD purchases 85/87/whatthefuckever it fluctuates to today & tomorrow.

Therefore, the Ruble has lost value since January, becoming even more worthless than it was previously.

AS A FRAME OF REFERENCE, 1 USD = 30 RUBLE IN 2013.. THEREFORE, THE RUBLE HELD MORE VALUE IN 2013 THAN IT DOES IN 2022.

It was 72 Rubles to the dollar BEFORE they intervened in Ukraine.

Then it dropped to the all time low of 135 Rubles to the dollar.

Now it’s gradually coming back, sitting at 87 to the dollar.

The Ruble was 30 to the dollar back in 2013 - it is worse off now than it has ever been.

How in the fuck are you people so bad at math? The Ruble hasn’t improved, it is still worse off than when it started. If Trump were president, it would be even worse than that - of course, Trump also outright accused Russia of perpetrating a Holocaust against the Ukrainian people, but that doesn’t get recognized by the fucking morons here.

I’m not surprised anymore. There really are people dumber than fucking liberals on our side, and this is the kind of bullshit I’ve come to expect.

this is how forex pairs work

lets take USD/RUB

when the chart for USD/RUB goes down, that means that value of the USD against the RUB is dropping.

lets say 1 USD = 100 RUB yesterday

now lets say 1 USD = 1 RUB today

did the value of the dollar (compared to ruble) go up or down?

In 2013 [1 USD = 30 RUB]

In 2021 [1 USD = 75 RUB]

In 2022 the all time low was [1 USD = 135 RUB]

And today it is [1 USD = 87 RUB]

It is basic math - it isn’t fucking subjective, it is simple - the RUBLE is worth less per dollar today than it was last year.

It’s right there. What’s next, are you ready to say 1 Zimbabwe Dollar = 1 US Dollar? Get fucking real lmfao.

Thanks so much, I am not a mathematician. I see some of our frens here have figured it out. Thank goodness I didn't have to depend on your math skills.

THE DOLLAR WAS 1:73 RUBLES AT THE START OF THE YEAR.

NOW THE DOLLAR IS 1:87/85/FLUCTUATING OUT THE ASS.

VERY SIMPLE.

THE RUBLE IS WORTH LESS TODAY,

THAN IT WAS IN JANUARY.

It’s not “gAiNiNg VaLuE,” it’s stabilizing after Russia just got their economic shit kicked in.

If you had a shiny rock worth $0.27 in January, was worth $0.01 in March, and is worth $0.15 today, did you gain value so far this year, or not?

If you had 73 Rubles in January, they were worth 1 dollar.

If you had 73 Rubles today, they are worth less than a dollar!

ISN’T MATH FUN?

I spent over an hour on the phone calling every bank near me yesterday to try to purchase some rubles with US dollars. Not a single one of them could accommodate me. I tried my local airport, but they said for me to get the Ruble I would have to go into Boston and even then it wasn’t a sure bet.

There goes a potential profit, flipping geopolitics!! And for those who think that is immoral, know that I am not cheerring on the destruction of the US dollar, I just recognize what is happening and I don’t want to lose any of my hard earned cash.

You can see the drop already in this one month graph. It's not dropping like a rock yet. Is it time to short sell USD?

If they peg 5000 ruble to gold, does that mean roughly 2.5 rubles to the dollar?
