I'm in the UK: went to my usual hairdresser at the start of the fakedemic. Idiots in visors and masks sprayed me and took my temperature when I walked in, told me I could not hang up my coat but had to keep it on my knees when I sat down. Then the stylist refused to come near me because I would not wear a mask. Should have asked if her's wasn't working, but got angry and walked out
Tried to find someplace else without success; same Covid protocols, some even charged extra for the spray! Two years went by, my hair grew longer until I felt I really needed to get it cut. Went to a very basic salon that caters for men, women and children. No masks, no sprays, no appointment needed. Got sheared for a fraction of what I used to .pay. Huge relief.
The lady who cut my hair said "Everyone's had enough, time to just get on with life" Felt quite emotional after, finally getting back to normal - THANK GOD!
It's refreshing, isn't it?!
I'm still feeling very emotional - didn't realise how much the stress of the last 2 years has had affected me. My daughter who lives in WA is coming to visit next month; haven't seen her in 28 mths, she is all the family I have. The fakedemic has been brutal.
I am so happy to hear you daughter will be visiting you. I havent seen my parents in 3 years. Waiting for the clown world to end soon so we can all travel in peace.
That will be wonderful! Hope you get to meet up soon fren.
Looking good Fam. ❤️👍
(hug) I'm so sorry to hear that!
(Are you in the UK?)
Yes, just west of Oxford, daughter and s-i-l are is Seattle. Those responsible for all this need to be brought to justice - no deals.
Yes!!!
I moved from Spokane WA because I got fired for refusing the injections at work and the whole city was masked up. In College Station TX now and it is way less clown world here.
I was working with disabled asshole teenagers as a caregiver. New job is on the down low to keep a little privacy.
My wife and I just had our youngest daughter visit for the first time since summer 2019. The emotions were overwhelming. Im happy for you u/undine53.
Thanks. Separating families is downright evil. I have a friend whose daughter is in New Zealand; she has not seen her or her grand daughter for over two years. Missed so many of the little one's developmental milestones. She is heartbroken.
Maybe it depends on what state one lives in. My wife and I are east Tennesseans and she's had no such problems getting her hair cut....and she's quite picky about how she looks, so she goes to a mid- to high-brow salon. Now at the worst of it (when the fake media was putting out stupid numbers) she MIGHT have worn a mask, I don't know, but none of that other paranoia you mentioned.
But in the larger scheme of things, the Grand Experiment To See How Many People Would Obey The Government started breaking down almost as soon as it was implemented. First in rural areas where people are fiercely independent, then in Southern states. Eventually that defiance spread to other areas.
In my own Tennessee county, our great, conservative County Mayor stripped the county health director of her powers because she had overstepped her authority and mandated masks, vaccines, and all sorts of dumb things that she had no authority to enforce.
Glad you're back to some sense of normal.
The facade was very strong in the UK. I had to stop watching Preach on YouTube despite absolutely loving his content where people with insane wow guild stories would submit them for a weekly story time. They lost big numbers to the covid protocols and even more with mass clotshotting since then. I don't blame our UK pedes for feeling such a burden being lifted.
Maybe it also has to do with national characteristics. In a simplified world view, it seems to me that the Brits are MOSTLY a compliant demographic, as are Canadians. But most Americans (at least the ones I know) tend to be anti-authoritarian and downright anarchists in our approach to authority.
A meme I have attached to my outgoing emails says "Americans be like..." and it shows a sign that says NO TARGET SHOOTING....and of course the sign is riddled with bullet holes. 'MURICA!!
That's what I love about Americans! I come from a long line of fighters and refuseniks so am not a typical Brit, thank goodness.
Yeah, banjo!!!! Never met a restriction I didn't want to fight!!
Please send me this. I must have it. Lol

Many thanks fren.
I just had my wife give me a buzz cut. She's been doing it now for 2 years. Saves me about 30 bucks a month and I don't have to worry about it. It took her a few cuts to get the hang of it but it's really hard to screw it up. It's so much easier now. I offered to cut her hair for her but she was having NONE of that. She goes to her stylists home and never had to worry about covid protocols. :)
I bought a hair cut kit at costco back when the lockdowns started. I have never looked back. When I want a cut I flick on the #3 guide and buzz away. It also has a left and right guide for around the ears. I doubt I will ever go and pay for a haircut again.
Lol the homies I had that cut hair were doing house calls during 2020. I think since he could charge more for the service it actually accelerated his move out the hood and into a good part of town and the last time I saw him he decided to buy out the other half of the building he was cutting out of.
My friend is a barber and set up shop in his garage. It was all profit for him, so he only was charging $15. I gave him $30 and shook his hand and thanked him for not being a faggot.
Dont worry. You're still a rebel whether you have long hair or not! 😎
Thanks!
Used to have long hair. 50% of it has fallen out from CoVID and I am trying to ingest whatever will help it come back. Ugh!!
Ivermectin.
I know, try it on everything.
But it may help.
Also, Vitamin D (BIG TIME), ho shou wu (sp?), spirulina.
Iodine.
Bulk Supplements is as good and cheaper. I was a GL user before I discovered Bulk Supplements.
You know it is the same with doctors. They often work only 1/2 day on Wednesdays, or not at all. They have a 4 day work week 9 am-5pm, lunch 1 hour, off the weekend. It is like their patients don’t work to pay the bills. Any doctor who would have evening office hours, or be flexible and stay over at the end to see a sick patient would be in demand. The problem is most doctors are practice owned by the hospital, the office building is owned by the hospital, and the hospital sets the hours the building is open. When I was small and sick, my parents would take me to the doctor’s home in the evening. He had an exam room in his home complete with meds like antibiotics, etc. Few doctors make house calls. If they did, they would be in demand.
I'm in a big city, maybe it affects availability, but all the doctors and vets I know are open at 7. The vet put their closing from 10 pm back to 7 pm, but more emergency vet clinics are now available. There are a few human doctors on the "concierge" system which would be great for many people if more affordable. Honestly one of the best places I've gone when acutely ill was an urgent care center.
I often have to adjust my work schedule to get mine cut. But I'm a manager so it's not too hard. I always extend the same caveat to my employees though too.
Someone here recommended the Flowbee, it has great reviews.
You cut your hair every 3 to 4 weeks!!??
I cut mine like every 4 to 6 months.
Same and it's mostly out of not wanting to go out of my way and always thinking "Well, it's not too bad yet."
C'mon you bought a Flowbee...just admit it.
Only getting back to normal before elections. Give it until middle of November. They will throw something new at us.
Yes plenty of morons out there. I have notice for sometime that the shortages did not make since, One week it would be this and then a week or two later there would be plenty of it and a shortage on something else as if being controlled or manipulated. Like the shortage was being rotated.
My money is on bird flu.
That's why one of the super random channels I watch stopped making content. She used to take her ducks through a drive thru for ice water but hasn't lately due to bird flu.
It is up to all of us to force normal back because they will never want it to come back. By protest and action we will force normal back
Same thing with our son in California. Worked from home for over 1 1/2 years, had a religious exemption. His hairdresser wasn’t open d/t the lockdown. He let his hair grow out for almost 2 years. He is not getting it cut until it grows some more so he can donate it for a wig. Do I like it? No. But he is 41 yo, heart is in the right place, he held his ground against the vax mandate (vax or lose your job). Now he is back to work. He is the hardest worker, answers calls 7 days a week while peers ignore the calls. How did the company reward him? 3% pay raise, his peers 9%. They are all vaxed. In fairness he is the highest paid, but still low for his position, given it is California. He never calls in ill. Knows the company in and out. Granted I am his mother. ( I was just like him. Loyalty to my hospital and answered calls all the time. I worked hard, skipped lunch, put my patients needs and documentation first and always. Worked extra so colleagues wouldn’t be over burdened and understaffed, made staffing deals to improve numbers. What does it get you? A big fat nothing from your employer, except knowing you did your best, which in my book is very important to me). Needless to say, he is actively looking for another job, made it clear to management to not call on weekends, and is using his sick time because they won’t pay him for unused sick time/vacations when he leaves. The entire team is actively looking. They took a pay cut the first year of lockdown. Got their salary back in January the 2nd year-no pay raise. The salary increase was delayed 6 months. During that time the company saved millions, the CEO sold his house and bought a new more expensive one, this year his bonus and stock were in the multi millions. Just another example of how companies don’t care about their employees and see them as replaceable.
If you haven't seen this yet, check out And We Know interview with Jim Breuer. He does a piece on haircuts during the pandemic.

He's great, thanks! Need a good laugh.
Out here in Australia we still cant get haircut without vaccines. Well, I am gonna try and crash my regular salon and see if they make a fuss.
Out here transgender is not as common. You might get kicked out if you say so lol
Well, that’s a positive, at least
I feel your pain. Couldn't get a haircut near my home in Colorado without a mask for months and months. Now I live in Alabama, and I look good. Hahahaaa! Seriously though, it's all about where you live.
Ha. Same boat.
After my similar experience (When I saw masks req. I just left) I decided that I would grow my hair in protest. When "The Storm" is over, I'll cut it.
It's nearly in the middle of my back now.
Braids are for whores?!? What?!
Hey, that braid thing bothers me.
Why are they teaching such degenerate nonsense?
Are they taking money from the cabal?
There's a war against rural people. I remember reading some time back that in Germany women with braids were suspect.
Why? Because women on farms wear braids and often the traditional one braid on each side.
Rural, bad.
Tradition, bad.
Maybe I'll wear braids today.
this is how we all need to STAY FOCUSED on our freedoms and have the FUCK YOU ready when they try to control us again....because they will.
Never forget. Never forgive the tyrants that foisted this fraud on us. These politicians are double-minded and double-tongued. Their speech is false and empty. Remember, the requirement for the forgiveness of malice and 'evildoing' is the repentance of such evil acts. Their truth can only be made good by their confession and action.
I'm guessing you live in one of the Communist strongholds like Commiefornia.
I'm in the UK - the sheeple compliance has been horrendous. Getting better now in towns and cities but in my village nearly all the store staff are still masked. Nauseating.
I tell people that wearing a mask for protection against a virus is like standing behind a chain link fence for protection against a shotgun blast.
Sometimes they get the analogy and take off the worthless mask.
Hang on. Hopefully all this BS will be over before the end of the year.
excellent point friend lol
Started doing my own hair about 6 years ago......saves so much time and money
Hated going to the joint and waiting around for cut and having to make small talk with the sytlist as well........
I bought clippers and started cutting my own hair. Never going back.
It is an election year, however, we gotta get those cases back up people! How are they going to justify mail in ballots?
I found YT videos on how to cut hair, and have now been doing it for, well...years now. Chances of us going back to a salon are slim to none at this point.
I've been using a Flowbee for 30 years.
Its got great amazon reviews, tempting!
Really easy to do once you get the lengths figured out. I then have my wife trim the back. Given the way I have my vacuum cleaner and the Flowbee set up under the counter, I can be done with everything in 20 minutes.
met my wife in another country we got married and she came to the US with me.
she didn't like the girls cutting my hair saying I should go to a barber , so I brought her to a barber to show her why I didn't like going.
the guys there tended to be gay and liked to hit on you and rub their nuts against you every chance they get.
as she put it. "don't go there again the faggots aren't nice"
lockdowns gave her a reason to learn to cut my hair, now she's not jealous of the girls touching me.
Or just be like me and do it yourself. Been doing it for at least 10 years.
Had this same experience a couple of months ago. Maybe you are outside England and the rest of the UK is still catching up. Had very little success cutting my own hair (and in fact took a few chunks out of my fingers) so packed that in and just let it grow for 2 years. I just cannot stand all that masks and spray business. Saved money at least by swerving 10 or more haircuts during that time.
What’s this spray you are speaking of? Like a disinfectant spray when you walk in? Haven’t heard of that here in the States.
Mostly supermarkets wanting people to spray their shopping carts before use. But I have seen all sort of ridiculous things; people spraying their hands all the time and on occasion people getting head to foot sprayed with something on entering a premises.
Head to foot. Fuck me. We use disinfectant wipes on cart handles but always have and haven’t had flu in years and years. This spraying people is poisoning. Who would subject themselves to that?
As for haircuts. Highly overrated.
It feels good to have a haircut, during the lockdown I learnt to cut my own hair. I learnt from YouTube and I've got it down to a tee now. I first opened my wardrobe doors and hung a mirror on each side to cut the back but now I can do it my muscle memory.
Even though it's all opened up I'm going to continue cutting my own hair as I do just a good of a job and don't have to wait an hour for the chair or pay the £15 each week.
I have cut my hair myself for the last two years. I did not want to have wearing a mask.
The plandemic was also supported by businesses complying to government edicts. I do understand their position in a way, because "you can kill a man, if you take the means he lives by (Shakespeare?). But then again, if it is that easy, how can we fight facism?
I learned how to cut my own... but styling is an issue. 😅
LOL! I'd have the same problem if I tried.
I already worked from home so when the plandemic hit I just stopped leaving the house. I'd only left like maybe 10 times in the whole two years, doctors apt etc. The other day I got in the car and just went to Walmart plus other stores etc etc. It felt so fucking weird. It was like I was seeing shit for the first time that I'd seen a hundred times before. It was a relief to just not give a fuck and leave the house.
Its amazing how my verbal skills have declined during the last two years. Everything that kept me going / mentally stimulated disappeared; no visits with friends, only chats in passing with other dog walkers.
Thank God for all the wonderful people on here, you helped me to stay sane and keep going.
Why don't you Zoom chat with friends?
Or volunteer somewhere -- remotely?
Or learn a language remotely?
All those things can help you keep up your verbal skills.
Yeah, I was a hermit before WuFlu. I find myself every once in a while talking to total strangers just because I instinctively crave talking to people face to face. I guess you could say I was MGTOW before it was even a thing. Looking back I know it was feminism that wrecked my life. There really are no good women around any more. Way more complicated subject though so I digress.
I get what you mean about verbal skills. Its almost like you forget how to talk to people.
I usually let my hair grow longer than what would be considered the "regular time to get a haircut" length. I went to a barber a few years ago, and the guy actually had the nerve to charge me extra because I was classified as being in the "longer hair cuts cost more" category. It was the most ridiculous thing! I complained loudly and of course never went back there again. It seemed obvious that this particular shop was hurting for business and this was just a way to try to skim extra money off the few customers they might snag.
This is what it feels like when you get out of an abusive relationship.
Sounds like Florida a year ago.
Sir, we're going to need an update when you see your daughter. I'm happy for you and can't wait for you to see her!
Thanks but I'm a she :)
Oh, sorry! I mixed your story and one of the other comments together. One of the comments was about the wife cutting his hair, so I ran the two stories together.
I'm very happy you get to see your daughter. Let us all know how it goes!
I've been cutting my own hair. I just shave it all off. Easy peasy.
Dont get too used to it. They will be trying the lockdown and bullshit all over again this fall whe COVID 22XL comes out. They want the population reduced and the economy destroyed. The great reset is their pet project and we are considered worthless lab rats.
