don't forget money laundering; the cabal has traditionally had few limits on how much money they can print, but making it look legit is a wall - wouldn't be surprised if it's 95% bot accounts and therefore 95% twitter "revenue" is a straight up wire deposit from the fed. Of course other socials doing similar, but twitter seems to most egregious offender
I have heard from someone who is knowledgeable insider on machine learning and bots that places like reddit are like 80-90% bots and i could surely believe that when you look at what gets up-voted and such.
You can usually tell by looking at their accounts but people have been known to sell good accounts to bots so it appears more organic.
One of the things Skycoin was working on with their version of social media was a way to eliminate bots and also having client side filtering so you can filter out the idiots rather than the big tech filtering you out, so you can choose what content you want to see.
I came to this conclusion a few years ago that 90% of the internet was astroturfed. Not just by governments and intelligence agencies either. A lot of it is probably corporations and their PR firms promoting narratives about their products or putting down anyone criticising them.
For example on reddit if you criticised Monsanto or Lockheed Martin at any time of day weird shill accounts would show up and defend them at any hour of the day. Likewise going back to 2016 those weird accounts which would show up and post walls of text defending Hillary Clinton with articles from CNN and MSNBC. A combination of bot and shill accounts likely working for one of the big PR firms.
I also came to the conclusion that a lot of the fandoms do the same these days. Most of its bots and shills who do their PR saying whatever the latest turd the TV or gaming industry has produced is wonderful and the best while a lot of genuine people will complain its a giant turd and get thousands of downvotes and replys calling you racist or a trump supporter or far right. For example when the new star trek series came out I had this experience which is when I first realised something was "off".
I remember after Bernie lost the first time and it was Hillary in the General, the NEXT day, as in the NEXT day, all of reddit changed. You couldn't talk about Bernie, and you could only focus on Hillary, otherwise you'd get spam blasted. All posts everywhere shifted and there was absolutely zero discourse, only pro-hillary and anti-trump news.
Yes and one day you could shit talk Hillary as being shady and get hundreds of upvotes, then the next, literally the next day those same style of posts were flooded with downvotes.
I remember seeing someone show off histograms of accounts that shows extremely suspicious posting activity. Tons of consecutive posts with ~1 minute between posts was a sure sign of a bit. A regular user would have their time between posts very sporadic and random but the bots very consistently had obvious lines on this time of day/delay per post heatmap.
I've read outside analytics putt the number at 40% at least, and that was a few years ago. Any company placing an ad on Twitter or Facebook is getting scammed, neither have the reach they say they do.
Robots don't buy cars, or feminine hygiene products, or beer, or anything.
Manufacturing consensus. Knowing most people are sheep and will follow the herd even if its a fake herd. I know Cas Sunstein advocated for something along those lines but I don't know if he actually originated the idea or someone else in the PR industry did.
The real number is 80% + fake accounts,. It was 80% during the 2016 primaries and elections when. Rush Limbaugh talked about it. I imagine it much larger today.
You can look up the data yourself searching unique ip addresses for x site.
My formerly peaceful, less populated, mostly summer resort area has turned into typical overcrowded crap in the past twenty years. I grew up in this area and we used to joke that you could lie down on the main highway and take a nap in the middle of winter without getting run over.
The forest behind my parents' house was recently turned into cookie cutter single story houses without backyards. $550k each, and they're mostly all sold.
The county I live in is one of the (if not the) fastest growing county in our state at the moment. And if the highway gets backed up, traffic ends up coming down our back road that our neighborhood is on and gets so bad we can’t turn towards town out of our neighborhood, we would have to go the opposite way and go a round about way that is going way out the way just to get were we want to go. And companies from like NY want to make new home or apartment developments that butt up against established neighborhoods that want to use their only entrance/exit road for their development. More and more people moving here from everywhere over the last few years, it’s just crazy! Maybe because it’s a Republican state and people want out of states that are too controlling. To me Florida is the same way, it’s seems like it’s been overcrowded there for a long time now. I use to live in Florida, partly grew up there and still have family there.
See, I don't believe a God damn thing that is in the news, ever. Did you read the article about how Biden explained inflation? Did you read the article how the 2020 election was not stolen? Did you read the article that thinking 9/11 was an inside job is a crackpot conspiracy theory?
You can easily fake the amount of people in the world. I don't even know what the hell you're talking about, honestly. Your evidence is all anecdotal and personal. Plus, you're a handshake and seem overly committed to your weak argument.
Increased traffic in your area can easily be explained by people moving to that area for opportunity or because of other appealing reasons. I would never think that congestion in a locale would be caused by increased population. Increased population of that area yes but no reason to extrapolate that out world wide.
As for world population, I don't believe a single number they tell us.
And your premise is ridiculously insufficient and narrow. I can't think of a better way to hide depopulation and genocide than under the guise of an overpopulated world.
Climate Change and Sustainability narrative rely on these inflated numbers. Look at the links I provided to you. Where are the people? Hey, maybe they all moved to your hometown.
I stated it clearly in my comments. Sustainability and economic destruction because of mythical climate change depend on overpopulation and a narrative of limited resources.
For example, it was alleged that 6 million refugees left ukraine. Where are the pictures or video that support that number?. We see huge crowds of people stacking up at our Southern border but that is just thousands. Do you lack the imagination to understand what 6 million refugees would look like?
You're bending over backwards to believe NWO propaganda.
China's ghost cities are because they don't really know how capitalism works, thinking if they just build it, people will come. Thus they do little market research and analysis to find out where people want to live and then build there.
Dude, you know what? You might really be on to something here.
What if the entire global population was actually 500,000,000 or less, and every war, abortion and famine was created to keep that limit? That would be fucking mind blowing.
Since funding received and political power within a jurisdiction's nation is often based on population, there is a strong incentive to over count. So your assumption is reasonable.
Eh, obvious from the 16 year plan that the Globalist Clowns get a stiffy from world depopulation. What would be their reason to high ball the numbers? Simply a resource scarcity push? That fear pron seemed to peak in the 90s.
To artificially inflate everything, not enough houses to go around, not enough food for world, not enough medicine to make it free. Look how many people have died of covid, look how many people got jabbed... you better get jabbed too.
Why would they fake population numbers... Well why would they fake twitter accounts...
Slavery, mind control. The more people they create the less control the real people have.
it all makes now. what better way to expose the fraud. every sheep and every news rag has been reporting this so a sudden halt from the rags will only serve to create the Streisand effect for those sheep. the poor sheeple babies are being forcefully awakened from their sleep
My theory is that is why so many conservative accounts were magically re-enabled the same day Mark Hamill and other leftists lost 2000-8000+ followers.
I assume thats the shadow ban people referred to? Like hiding subscriptions and followers from both parties. All about the numbers I suppose. Dirty business.
Shadowbanning is a multifaceted blanket term at this point that applies to quite a few different methods of doing so, from hiding posts from other people, to hiding their upvotes or downvotes, to hiding their ability to be searched up, etc.
The damage to Twitter, exposed by Elon, cannot be understated.
Oxley-Sarbanes Act of 2002 - Sarbanes-Oxley makes it a crime to defraud shareholders of publicly traded companies through the filing of misleading financial reports. Executives face fines of up to $1 million and ten years imprisonment for knowingly certifying financial reports that don't comply with the SOX's requirements
Elon can walk away, without incurring any penalties, due to fraud. So the stock could then go into free-fall.
Shareholders now have cause to sue Twitter. First, by fraudulently filing SEC reports, shareholders were intentionally given bad information, by which they made financial decisions. This is a Class Action Law Suit.
Advertisers were defrauded, as the rate they were charged for advertising on that platform, was based on the number of Active Accounts, which were intentionally inflated. This is a Class Action Law Suit.
He can walk away from buying the whole thing, but he'll still own that 10% that he bought earlier, making him the largest stakeholder in the eventual class action suit.
Twitter is done. And the timing could not be better with the emergence of Truth Social.
He can't bring this to court if he gives up....how do u insert evidence legally? You buy it. Twitter will fall under it's own weight by doing this...he won't buy Twitter he'll let it fall then buy up DWAC at pennies on the dollar...
The phrase "4D chess" gets thrown around and over-used quite a bit, but in this case, I truly feel that Elon Musk has been playing 4-D chess the entire time with Twitter.
He is forcing Twitter's dirty laundry to be aired. Ultimately, Twitter will either be completely irrelevant afterwards and nearly worthless, or Elon will own it at a significant discount and he will transform it away from a social media platform and into his own web-scale technology company supplementing Tesla, SpaceX, and Neuralink.
I think focusing on the number of bot accounts is missing the forest for the trees. It's been widely known for several years now that 80% of all tweets posted come from only 10% of users, how many of those 10% are bots?
Take note of all the blue wave/Ukraine flag accounts. You see those accounts a lot, yes? Most of them are bots, so the percentage of fake accounts is high. Now take into consideration all the real users they banned the last 4 years and its even higher.
I think it funny how BrooklynDad became artificially a big deal thanks to Twitter. He has a youtube channel and seems to only get 200-500 views per video with his "massive" twitter following.
While the act of exposing this is amazing, and does seem to be a win for free speech, I don’t trust Elon for a second. Could he have deeper motives to all of this? https://youtu.be/AeEK7yCP72c
Most fake accounts are not political bots, but are created by hackers by the thousands and verified automatically. They get sold and used by people to spam promotions and such. Many of them probably never get used beyond whatever steps the creator took a single time to establish the legitimacy of the user with Twitter's algorithms.
I believe the final percentage of fake accounts will be close to 50%.
Kash Patel was pretty confident that it would be about 5% real accounts
WOW.

Good three-minute video on Chinese click farms and evolving internet fraud (related to creating false popularity of products, people).

Yep! Are the BOD at Twitter hyperventilating yet?
I wish my Marxist siblings were bots. Hoped they would wake up. But not yet.

Reddit changed a lot after Trump was elected, as did all the social media sites

Hmm... 5%? Right around the current value of the Dollar, which has lost over 96% since 1913, with the creation of Fed Reserve & IRSss 🐍
Facts

Robots don't buy cars, or feminine hygiene products, or beer, or anything.
I bet it’s closer to 66.6%
I'm actually thinking closer to 80 percent. But knowing "them", and their numbers, you are probably correct.
I'd wager there are more fake Twitter accounts than there are fake numbers of <?> who were supposedly <?> in the <?> during the height of <?>.
It's a <fill-in-the-blank> game!
Nice call.
Or of those legit accounts of the so called blue check users, their millions of subscribers are 50-95% fake! Number of subs pumped way, way up!
kinda like they do with our 'votes'.
Manufacturing consensus. Knowing most people are sheep and will follow the herd even if its a fake herd. I know Cas Sunstein advocated for something along those lines but I don't know if he actually originated the idea or someone else in the PR industry did.

Twitter and Reddit share similar same data.
Just wait till they do the same analysis on the worlds population.
I've long held that the world's population is only half to three-quarters of what is claimed.
People move to the cities for jobs. The country is beautiful, spacious, and great without the commie trash.
My formerly peaceful, less populated, mostly summer resort area has turned into typical overcrowded crap in the past twenty years. I grew up in this area and we used to joke that you could lie down on the main highway and take a nap in the middle of winter without getting run over.

i get that feeling, but also gather that developed land takes up less than 5% of the country?

This is very plausible. With a crap ton banned, fake ones were created to cover the “loss”. Good thinking.

That's some heat right there.
Burn it down baby
Interesting number 66m …..
At the very least, he's devaluing a company he intends to buy by exposing their shitty practices and lies, which is just good business.
You can draw them to comment too
Say something very controversial in a large older post. You will get one or two replies giving you "facts"
this was the plan the whole time i bet....
Liberal commies screw up everything.
Tell twatter to F.O. Elon!!!

I definitely like what Elon is doing here. Even if it's not part of the plan, clearly it was his plan all along to expose twitter through this deal.
Let's see twitter release a different type of CAPTCHA every day and see what "active" accounts don't tweet at all for a whole week
The account I despise?
@mmpadellan BrooklynDad_Defiant
I did the Elon test on his account and over 25% are bots.
I think it funny how BrooklynDad became artificially a big deal thanks to Twitter. He has a youtube channel and seems to only get 200-500 views per video with his "massive" twitter following.
Being as that cost to advertise is based on the size of the audience, will current/past advertisements be owed retributions?
Wowzer! Check the stock prices daily! TWITTER = Down she goes!
And they ALL loved Biden.
It would be interesting to see the influence of elections on the number of bot accounts.
