Unless you live in one of the few red states that didn't lock down, there is NO middle.
Where I live, we were given limitations on how long our walks outside or exercise could be each day.
We had curfews every night -- because covid is more transmissible after 10pm?? That's some serious scientism for you!
Remember the skate parks that were covered in sand to keep people from being able to access?
Remember all the videos of parents and children at parks and beaches getting accosted by cops? And many arrested and physically manhandled?
Remember all the doctor and dentist appointments that were canceled because it was just too dangerous -- yet liquor stores were essential?

I agree. It wasn't a "lockdown" in the US compared to what we heard from Aussie anons and what they went through. In the US it was more of a lockout, orchestrated by businesses at the behest of the CDC.
Edit: different US states handled it their own way, some more draconian than others.
Just because they were not able to accomplish that level of lockdow doesn't mean that they were not trying to. I passes through states where no one was out except for "essential services... it was strange .. like a winter storm emergency when roads are only open to emergency personnel and snow removal...
The only reason the US was not as rough is because, people kept calling out the BS, suing and we had enough saying HELL NO, that goes against our constitutional rights, GFY. A handful of states "got away with it" more than others and another few states were NOPE, the entire time.

I never had to stop going to work for a single day. There was no lockdown in the US as far as I'm concerned. Also New York and Cali are part of China. So in "America* there wasn't.

I never fell for the fear porn and kept going out and doing my thing without a mask. many people locked themselves down psychologically. that's not to suggest the cabal didn't create this fear and hope itd have this effect and hope they could fully lockdown but they never did accomplish a lockdown, at least not here in US
It actually wasn't that bad in my corner of TX. I enjoyed the lack of crowds everywhere, the empty roads, and the fact that if you just coughed or sniffled, people would part like the Red Sea. I also work from home anyway, so that wasn't an issue for me.
I actually moved back here from FL in early 2020. Went wherever I wanted to, no stupid rules in my town, and although indoor dining was closed in restaurants I don't like eating inside restaurants generally anyway because there always seems to be some dumbass family that allows their kids to run. We never allowed that for our kids.
My only gripes were that I had to wait 6 months to get my TXDL when I moved back because the DMV was closed, and also had to wait 6 months to cash a $1000 lottery scratch-off ticket I bought the day I got back to TX. I didn't even have to worry about the DL because the police couldn't write tickets on that since the DMV couldn't issue licenses.
Yup, and a lot of those students WERE locked down because, parents would get into trouble if their child was anyplace other than their house. Not to forget how people were being encouraged to report other people who had family gatherings because, they should be isolating(locked down) from other people.
