Trump appointing him doesn’t really mean much at this point. How many Trump appointees immediately betrayed Trump the second their power was confirmed? The deep state owns far too many in our government.
What’s more telling is the Garland formed a special council. Garland is a deep state pawn, I wouldn’t expect him to tap anyone to lead a special council if he doesn’t have control over them.
Is it possible Trump appointed these people on purpose so that people wake up to how corrupt things are in D.C.? Is it possible they are being controlled by WHs to expose the corruption? It is more likely the RNC pushed Trump to use them to pick the judges, and now the Federalist Society is returning the favor. The RNC stabs him in the back every chance they get, and this is just one more chance.
IMHO Trump had mil intel look into ALL the appointees. Remember, this plan was laid out years in advance. It's not just Trump doing everything. He's the figurehead of the great awakening. As US Attorney for Delaware, Weiss could not prosecute crimes committed outside his jurisdiction without the permission and cooperation of the US Attorney where the crimes were committed. The US Attorneys from California and Washington DC refused that permission and cooperation and the serious crimes were committed in those jurisdictions. He may find some other reason to not prosecute but as a Special Counsel he will have jurisdiction to prosecute crimes by or related to Hunter regardless of where committed. Garland has now shifted the heat from himself and the other US Attorneys directly to Weiss. We will see how he responds, possibly as soon as the next hearing with the Delaware Judge.

I remember there were some specifics the judge raised that the doj and hunters lawyers had to agree to and they didn’t at the time. The immunity was written in a way that gave Hunter total immunity but the DoJ, when responding to the judge questioning it, didnt want to verbally agree to that. So the judge ordered them to get on the same page last i heard.
