They should never have existed. The Marshals do a better job of tracking down criminals and are usually the ones tasked with that, to begin with. Domestic spying is illegal anyway. Any agents still wishing to serve should begin applying for jobs elsewhere.
Here in Oklahomo,we have our own OSBI oklahoma state bureau of investigation. Your state probably has the same.

My understanding is that the FBI was originally created to investigate crimes in the Federal government. It was never meant to be used in the states.

FBI pretty much created itself. They have no charter or presidential order for their existence.
Their was a small problem with a few bank robbers crossing state lines,that the press and Fag bois made a big deal of. At the time we barely had long distance phone calling,it was extremely expensive and hard to do.

One agency. US Marshals. No other than that. Add agents to the for crimes against children work and major nationwide investigations. You do need a federal LEO agency. We all have state agencies. But no jurisdiction over federal crimes. Tough to investigate across state lines.

Haven’t heard of any prosecutions by the FBI. I’ve heard of investigations but what are the outcomes? How many important criminal acts have occurred that you thought should be investigated and nothing happened? How many times have you said “and where is the FBI?”

I can tell you that for the most part Marshals don't exactly like the F🐝👁. So, don't know how they will take you sending in F🐝👁 agents to work with them, especially the ones who think they are better than everyone else but totally suck at their jobs.
