Good thing to think on doing, because, these podcasters, yt, social media hosts/influencers are talking directly to their chats you know PEOPLE, keeping up with on the ground going ons, always looking for guests in many different fields of knowledge. They do not restrict information from one side or the other, they do not cherry pic for any hidden agenda, they get the real deal out of real people form all over all the time. Unlike the FAILED MsN who always has an agenda to push so only have people on to either push that agenda or to ambush the person invited to speak often in very nasty ways. There are some "Good ones" out there but, even those ones are hounded by the restrictions of what ever company they work for.

Remember this day, November 15th 2024. The day the legacy media truly died. Err, was killed, by Trump!
Seeing the likes of CobraCast (owner of Geeks + Gamers) and others streaming from the RNC convention this year was just the first of this. I watched his coverage rather than any "official" steams (except for Trump's own Rumble channel for his speech.)
I have not turned on my tv for years and while online, pick a streamer to watch things and watch parties of things going on. The only time I watch from one of the MsM is more to read their chats to try and read the room on what their viewers are saying on various different topics.
I don't like the idea of giving out "credentials", because the government machine can then (continue to) pick and choose who the messengers are and it's basically propaganda. Here's my idea for an alternative: The two leading parties maybe could each pick 2 outlets to allow in, then We the People could vote in 10 others to have regular seats, and finally, questions from the general public could be collected on an open source or blockchain system that randomly picks 50 questions. Citizens then can upvote and downvote those 50 questions and the press secretary must directly address the top 5. Just my 2¢.
Remember - the journalists have to have special passes to get access to the WH and of course the people that work there. Background investigations have to be performed as well.

No CNN, MSNBC, ABC, etc. Unless the prior three months contained each weeks daily mentions of each of the items correcting fake news from the past.
Include each instance a fake news item was mentioned on those networks, then demand 3x the number of mentions as it being a fake story on the network's own programming. Example: assuming CNN mentioned the "Russia collusion" story 1,000 times over a period of 3 years, they have to mention it 3,000 times over the same time-frame; in the same time-slots.
Failure to be on the road to redemption means you don't get a white house press pass. Road to redemption meaning they have published the required retraction stories every week for the last 3 months. Miss a week? No white house press pass and the timer resets.
