It was the Dems in the city of Charlotte that set up the bathroom bill situation that ended up getting our GOP Governor (still a RiINO) tossed.
We’ve had a Dem Governor ever since. Along with all the state council positions since then down the ballot. And a couple of George Soros AGs.
Along with Governor and the other state council members the Dems controlled our elections. At least up until now.
We managed to get a GOP State Council Position (State Auditor) elected in 2024. But all other state contested went to the Dems. Right after the 2024 election our state still had a GOP super majority So they voted to put our State Auditor in charge of the Board of Elections. The bill passed bc our Dem Governor couldn’t veto it. It was tested in the courts and they lost since then GOP hold the majority of the State Supreme Court.
Only recently was a new state election board appointed by our GOP State Auditor (it used to be the Governor who did this).The Dem who was in charge of our State Board of Elections has been fired and has been replaced with a GOP now. FWIW It was reported by a NC election watchdog Major Dave that there were votes added by the State Board of Elections on election night in 2024 AFTER all 100 counties had submitted their results. So something was going on at the State Board of Elections.
Hopefully we won’t see such lopsided results as we have in the past where Trump wins the state and all the Dems win the state positions.
