I hope you get your dream fulfilled, Fren. California is a beautiful State. San Diego has been prepping for 5-minute cities with all the mega housing units.
Just moved back to No. Cal from San Diego. Bounced between north and south 4 times; grew up in a great College Town in Claremont. Years of Liberal infiltration into the Claremont Colleges. Lot's of famous kids attended when I worked at age 14 in the "mess halls". Great times, but good times is when they slizzer in and take over. Hopefully, watch CA in the Q drops meant we're gonna see CA change.
Honesty idea of living in a walkable city is not bad. As much as I love my 67 Camaro and my big Tundra truck, I also like the European style just being able to walk everywhere
Well I don't like is Bill Gates trying to build hunger games like districts to keep certain neighborhoods on lockdown just because they vote a certain way, didn't get enough vaccinations, or not in compliance with what he wants.
I couldn't live in the city; burbs is always where I've lived. But visiting Europe was great, as you say, everything was walkable. As long as it's not controlled where you can go. That's the issue with 5 min cities.
live in California. yes, they have been stealing elections giving them super majority in the state house and senate but this state still is going to remain Blue for the foreseeable future. most of those made legal by Reagan in the 1980s live here in California. this state needs about 10 more years for the voting Dema graph to shift in the state and turn it red
You're not wrong but California has a rot that has to be excised, because it is entrenched. It goes beyond illegals.
If we could get that ever closer to a 50% purple though, that would give us a much better fighting chance in the future. Not to mention getting rid of illegals would immediately change how much pull California has over the rest of the country.
You're not wrong, but in my experience it is not as bad as people think. For example, I live in a college town. It is one of the most "blue" cities there is (not counting San Francisco). A true epicenter of the brainwashing. I think even in a place like that, the population is probably close to 60/40 blue (at least now). Not counting those blue epicenters, in almost the rest of the state it's closer to 100% not blue (probably not 100, but it's really high).
If we could get that ever closer to a 50% purple though
You are thinking in the same lines as how things have been. It either goes to 95-5% (the 4-6% brainwashed) or we lose, same ol' same ol'. The typical 50-50 system that has been historical has been controlled opposition the entire time. For the past 200 years+ the news has been carefully crafted to keep the "two sides" about equal. That is the only way to keep the system controlled. They MUST have both sides the same.
UNITED NOT DIVIDED.
You awake, thinking for yourself, is their greatest fear.
Once the world wakes up to the true depth of the Cabal's control, everything changes completely.
Having said that, a true typically "red" polity would be truly evil. The "red" policies are just as bad as the blue ones. They are both controlled, and we have been taught Cabal designed evils (different evils) on both sides since day one.
The "blue" pushes designs to improve the "whole society" and the "red" pushes designs to improve the "individual." But both of those ideals are true. Any healthy polity needs to debate those dualistic social needs.
But in reality, all people understand that dualism. Each individual has ideas on both sides. It is by forcing every person to wear either a blue or red shirt that the world is controlled. If there are "two parties" then the individual's ideas become the "parties" ideas, and thus policies. This pushes society by the Cabal's path.
The real solution is the complete abolition of the concept of parties.. You can have agreements, and caucuses, as long as those caucuses are loosely aligned. Indeed, that is how honest debate comes to resolution. Any other formal system is destined to fail by the same method it has been.

Sorry, I did a bad job phrasing this. I meant "purple" in regards to having people be a little bit closer to each other in their beliefs, so people are more receptive to words and actions instead of just voting blue no matter who.
So instead of hard leftist entrenchment, we have a higher ratio of people that are willing to think critically even if it clashes with their biases.
Getting the illegals out is among the first steps to achieving this. Even a lot of the legal immigrants (my best friend lives in California and employs a lot of them) don't seem to like what has happened to their once great state.
I have never lived there but visited often. It is a beautiful state, ruined by Dems/Commies. If it changes, it could beat Maryland the state I live in currently.
Same here, small boy growing up in Upstate NY looking through the encyclopedias "was no Google search back then. San Diego was my choice over Yuma. Sadly still in ny
Tell me why Orange County voted for Hilary after 8 years Obama. Lol if they’re gonna lie like that, they need to make it believable at least. That was the first and last red flag for me that our voting is illegitimate here.
An article (from the UK-based daily mail) about ICE arrests gave an estimate of 38% of L.A. being from foreign countries. They didn't separate legal from illegal in that number, but it also said 1 in 10 workers statewide were likely illegal.
True numbers are probably impossible to figure, given that the entire demographic survives by hiding.
Unfortunately, they allowed them to stay here and not learn ENGLISH. I got new carpet installed and the two hard working men, contracted by a legit business, didn't speak English. I have empathy for them as they've been used as pawns, but I want them here legally and they must learn our language.
If they are here it should be legal, but I don't want mass immigration even if it were legal. I'd much prefer for Mexico (and Central and South America) to be fixed so they didn't feel a need to come at all.
Even in the case of the best, most civic-minded immigrants, none of them come without competing for jobs or benefits (or both!) against locals. Kids in high school have trouble getting summer jobs because all the low-level jobs are hoovered up by illegals, working while getting food stamps. Oh well, that's what we've lived through: it's being fixed now.
I'm in favor of closing down immigration in 99% of cases until we have deported at least ten million illegals and fully secured our borders.
The 1% can be a bone tossed to people who, in an internet era, are finding relationships at long distance as is sadly becoming more common but considering the younger women in the U.S. are getting closer to 10% who have OnlyFans accounts...
Reminded me of driving into work in Midtown Manhattan on December 26, 2019 (Thursday). I think everyone had taken the rest of the year off, there was no traffic at all...
(No frame of reference since then, was entirely done with NY after covid. I had already been based out of Florida anyway even before covid)
That's how traffic math works. Adding just a few cars to a busy highway can clog it up but here we're seeing the opposite effect: it doesn't take a massive reduction in the number of cars to get it flowing again.
Also just a few badly behaved cars can stop up traffic. We've been seeing this in Florida with the rash of left lane cloggers.
It's basically to the point where we can't have traffic flow during daylight hours on any freeway with just two lanes each way due to someone not keeping right to pass/impeding traffic. (So we need to widen the turnpike from 2 lanes each way to 4 lanes each way entirely due to this nonsense)
planning always takes place on natural development, while politics is the vogue, overwhelming the natural infrastructure. Meaning: the Dems always pursue an economy of scarcity and thus victimhood.
Where did they get these ideas?
For those interested: Read Genesis and then the story about Joseph's adventures in Egypt. .....
Muh ... climate change .....Sound familiar?
You own nothing and will be happy. The Egyptian farmers already had that experience with these kind of hoaxes.
An agrarian society is at the mercy of the climate.
Whether Joseph was hoaxing ... well. .... given the quality of his brothers and parents, I would not put it past him. Of course, the narrative weaves in Gods chosen status in there somewhere.
But consider this: pay taxes 7 years, and then when hunger strikes, you get to give all you have including yourself to survive.
Nice way forward. That the story violates Egyptian sensibilities is beyond the the story itself. (See book of the dead)
On a much smaller scale, I just drove through Fort Payne, AL, and the streets were near empty there. 2/3 of the restaurants that are not chains, are Mexican food. Chicken plants 20 miles away have recruiting offices set up there. Something's happening.
By the way, I still say Larry Elder and PDJT conspired to get the goods on the Pelosi gang during the recall, I will bet you they have the evidence, Larry won and it will all come out in due time like many things we are waiting and praying for.....
With how many people have told me they are actually illegal im guessing tons. Apparently sometimes they get fake documents and have normal jobs. They aren't all standing outside of home Depot.
In their cars. In L.A. the traffic is at saturation everywhere, and mass transit (tube, trains, buses) is effectively ineffective. There's always light traffic on Jewish holidays, or when the Mexican national soccer team is playing. Lately it seems like the Mexican team is playing 24/7. That said, it's a little too early to know if that's the reason.
Definitely hiding, I want ICE to go to LA and get them. All are illegals plus they don’t have health insurance anymore or food stamps or housing I hope.
Yep - California's turning red!
We've been red. They've just stolen the votes for decades.
I hope you get your dream fulfilled, Fren. California is a beautiful State. San Diego has been prepping for 5-minute cities with all the mega housing units.

Hard to make it worse. Has been falling for 60 + years.
I hope or they are meeting to do something horrible in LA.

I suggest if CA loses the Dominion vote they will immediately lose a huge portion of their Blue vote.
You're not wrong but California has a rot that has to be excised, because it is entrenched. It goes beyond illegals.

I’m upstate too fren.
Have you been to both ? Kind of insulting to compare SD to Yuma
Only in encyclopedias
Road Trip. Gas prices down🚐
The people you normally interact with here aren't insane, sure you'll get your typical radical but not in the numbers you think.
Ya, it's mainly SF, LA, and Hollyweird/Elites/Rich that have control. Unless my kids move out of state, I'm staying and fighting.
Color me not surprised.
Tell me why Orange County voted for Hilary after 8 years Obama. Lol if they’re gonna lie like that, they need to make it believable at least. That was the first and last red flag for me that our voting is illegitimate here.
Oh yeah. Orange County is true RED.
An article (from the UK-based daily mail) about ICE arrests gave an estimate of 38% of L.A. being from foreign countries. They didn't separate legal from illegal in that number, but it also said 1 in 10 workers statewide were likely illegal.

Agree Fren. May every country be re-born in this process and all people can flourish and thrive in their own countries. 🙏
Agreed, legally but few people not a lot or mass migration.
freeways were light monday morning. i think a lot of people went in late or took a long weekend for the 4th. tuesday on the otherhand was pretty bad
Good point!
Now that's some California Dreamin'
I'm seeing the same in Arizona, as well, and it's not just because school is out. The decline of traffic this year is Biblical.
That's how traffic math works. Adding just a few cars to a busy highway can clog it up but here we're seeing the opposite effect: it doesn't take a massive reduction in the number of cars to get it flowing again.

It is quite easy to comprehend.
planning always takes place on natural development, while politics is the vogue, overwhelming the natural infrastructure. Meaning: the Dems always pursue an economy of scarcity and thus victimhood.

For those interested: Read Genesis and then the story about Joseph's adventures in Egypt. .....
Muh ... climate change .....Sound familiar?
You own nothing and will be happy. The Egyptian farmers already had that experience with these kind of hoaxes.
Are you suggesting Joseph was running a climate change hoax, or that they copied the story to exploit it as a dark mirror?
I’ve seen the former claimed, but the latter seems much more plausible.

It is a blueprint .... that's for sure.
That's how a freeway is supposed to look during rush hour.
On a much smaller scale, I just drove through Fort Payne, AL, and the streets were near empty there. 2/3 of the restaurants that are not chains, are Mexican food. Chicken plants 20 miles away have recruiting offices set up there. Something's happening.
There are 10M people in LA County. My guess would be 30% are illegal aliens or 3M.
I could have used that kind of smooth sailing before I bailed in '96
Deportation and fear of deportation are having what is known as a statistically significant event.
By the way, I still say Larry Elder and PDJT conspired to get the goods on the Pelosi gang during the recall, I will bet you they have the evidence, Larry won and it will all come out in due time like many things we are waiting and praying for.....
Northern Mexico right there...
With how many people have told me they are actually illegal im guessing tons. Apparently sometimes they get fake documents and have normal jobs. They aren't all standing outside of home Depot.
Now if ICE could clear out much of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN would be red in a heartbeat.
They are making so many things in our life THAT WE PAY FOR hard to access, schools, hospitals, roads, parks ETC.
As an ex-Cali resident, can confirm this is beyond abnormal.
Amazing! I know the area well. Born and raised in LA and Orange Counties. Even less traffic than on the weekend. Very telling.
A bounty on each head.

I'm a Brit so dont geddit - are you saying the highways were previously full of immigrants standing around on a motorway??
California's Los Angeles, San Diego, etc, as well as a lot of the New York New Jersery areas are known for extremely dense traffic.
The thought is less illegals == less traffic.
Now, all you have to worry about is those overpasses falling down. Damn, they look lanky.
OMG! This is what we pray for!
POINT OF CORRECTION: The above video is… driving NORTH on the 110 FREEWAY. (Toward Downtown Los Angeles, CA)
Definitely hiding, I want ICE to go to LA and get them. All are illegals plus they don’t have health insurance anymore or food stamps or housing I hope.
Ten million is the number I heard.
Might be correct, it seems everyone there now is not an American.
