Trump’s TS post for those who don’t have TS -
For a very long time, buying and owning a home was considered the pinnacle of the American Dream. It was the reward for working hard, and doing the right thing, but now, because of the Record High Inflation caused by Joe Biden and the Democrats in Congress, that American Dream is increasingly out of reach for far too many people, especially younger Americans. It is for that reason, and much more, that I am immediately taking steps to ban large institutional investors from buying more single-family homes, and I will be calling on Congress to codify it. People live in homes, not corporations. I will discuss this topic, including further Housing and Affordability proposals, and more, at my speech in Davos in two weeks.

That's a very nice win.
Now if they deport 10 million criminals,we will have a lot more housing.
There’s so much criminal fuckery embedded in everything from food to medicine to housing, to our entire financial system. Trump’s really got his work cut out for him, and there needs to be a way to block that work from getting inverted the minute he leaves office. It’s gotta be like drinking from a fire hose.

Trump: "People live in homes, not corporations."
Comms, since the U.S. is no longer incorporated (I hope)
The U.S. Govt. has always been a corporation.
A corporation means non-corporeal entity. A non-corporeal entity is something that only exists within the framework of "law." Of course, then you have to understand what "law" means. That's a bit complicated, but in this case (as we generally use the term), law is a fictional limit (i.e. it's a statement of a "limit" that isn't a limit (a limit that doesn't actually exist)). That fiction is enforced through coercion. Without coercion, i.e. forced compliance, law is meaningless (because it's a fiction). A non-corporeal entity then, is created specifically so that it can act as a person, in a court of law, so that it can sue and be sued. This contrivance is designed to hide criminal activity; hiding the crimes of real people behind the face of the non-corporeal (fake) entity in court.
There are many types of corporations. A government is (as we use the term) a "governmental corporation". It's purpose is to sue and be sued, hiding the actions of the real people who are doing the actions; in general to blame the fake (legal) entity so that the real people in charge can steal from or otherwise harm other real people.
It's important to appreciate that a government doesn't have to be that way, but as I said, that requires an understanding of what law actually is, and that's a bigger discussion.
The corporation (legal non-entity) we call the "U.S. Govt." was made in 1787 through the document we call "The Constitution." That document incorporated the non-corporeal entity through the fiction of a fraudulent system of law (fraudulent in the sense that it was missing essential elements of understanding Natural Law, AKA the only True (nonfictional) Law).
It is possible that the Act of 1871 made some changes to the original U.S. Govt., and we are using laws from 1871 fraudulently, but if so (and I'm not convinced), it's not really a big deal compared to the problems with the original incorporation (U.S. Govt. from 1787).
Who here does NOT have Truth?!? I literally joined solely & specifically to stay informed from POTUS Trump directly!!
Everyone go join!
I've got zero interest in Truth Social other than being directly informed by our President Trump!
U.S citizens ONLY should be able to buy a home in the USA.
Will blackrock, blackstone, and state street be forced to sell?
Doesn't seem like it, but it will stop them from doing it going forward. This would be HUGE for MAGA. Yuuuuuuge
'Xactly. Won't that be fun?
It's good to see him acknowledge these things and promising action instead of saying "what inflation?" I don't blame Trump for the inflation but we need to be real about the problem and find solutions.
Will the democrats come out against corporations owning single family homes?
Absolutely not.
No way since they’re in on it too. Foreign real estate investors in droves the last 20-30 years and beyond from China etc is why home or apartment, townhouse etc. prices in NY, CA and Seattle are insane. Artificially inflated
There was a California home listed for $2+mil it wasn't even a mansion just a ordinary home. At the open house showing there was not a single white American looking. It was mostly Chinese and a few other nationalities.
In NJ as well. We have New York escapees, and also companies buying homes. The current market value of our rather modest house is over a million bucks at the moment.
Democrats LOVE corporations, and do everything they can to help corpos get cheap slave-like labor, help them make as much money as they can.
Dems LOVE corporations, since they landed to low IQ faggots and pretend to be pro LGTVWTFBVQ+-++-=2A...
Still a scam. Shelter is a fundamental human right we used to be able to make ourselves. Modern government and politics have made everything from the land, to the materials, to even the permission to build out of most people's hands. A place to live safely should not be a dream. That should be the bare minimum.
Also there's a lot about this that doesn't read right. So what happens to blocks of homes owned by investors whether they be globohomos or local flippers? Will they be forced to liquidate? Taxes and fines to cover the cost for normies buying?
Maybe I'm too cynical when it comes to this..but the entire real estate industry to me has always been a cesspool of the worst humanity has to offer.
Been waiting on this for a long time. Now hopefully he will mandate on unloading of the ownership they already have that our 2008 taxes provided in the form of their bailout
They’ll only find work arounds. They always do.
Side note…
It’s absolutely bonkers out here in California. Not necessarily companies buying but nationalities - mainly all-cash buying Asians. You name it Korean, Chinese… entire cities worth of homes being purchased. They don’t even have English words on the business signs anymore. I’m talking Rowland Heights, Puente Hills, Hacienda Heights, it’s insane. I get it, it’s a tale as old as time, you settle with likeminded people… and this has been the case in America for the past couple hundred years. But the non English aspect. Try taking over a city in a foreign country as Americans and see how well that works out.
Fucking finally
They are people too. This won't hold up under SCOTUS.
There actually is already a precedent for this. Several states and cities have limited corporate ownership of single family homes. The general model used, that faces little backlash from courts, is that they have a cut off total asset value. The LOGIC is that single family homes should be for PEOPLE and not for corporations and they WILL NOT lose money by selling them, because in real estate specifically you can do what's called a 1031 exchange which lets you sell a property and buy another "like kind property" (basically another piece of real estate) within I believe 6 months and you'll pay zero taxes on your capital gains.
So generally its framed as a model that "encourages institutional investment in large scale projects" rather than just a blanket ban on them owning a specific type of property, which is easier to defend. USUALLY they don't even outright ban them, they just take away specific tax benefits and increase taxes on them over a certain asset value cap, BUT if they snowball everything after they hit the cap into say, apartments, then literally nothing changes for them financially.
It's less about outright banning, and more using taxes and policy to direct investment where you want it to go. Make certain investments more attractive at a certain point in the growth cycle over others.
I'd imagine Trump will do something similar, but at the federal level, which will effect EVERYONE in the country
Trump does know real estate. I'm sure he'll find the most effective means to do this.
It'll definitely face legal challenges but it shows Trump is at least trying to address the issue.
Good point. Hopefully, SCOTUS arrives at a better resolution this time.
I do like that he is trying this. Corps as people is like thinking that Bill Gates is human or that he deserves peace on earth.
What about lots where homes have burned down, like Pacific Palisades?
The offshore US dollar is worth twice what the domestic USD is worth-because it exists beyond US government taxation and regulation. When foreigners bring in cash to take advantage of the relative stability and predictability of life in the USA- they initially can afford to pay a much hgher price for real estate than a citizen could afford
This is huge! Companies have made it near impossible for young people to buy homes. This should help.
I am glad to hear this. For too long families, or single owners have been priced out of the market, yet houses keep selling. We are rural, everyone has a minimum of 1 acre... and there are countless air b & b's all around. The single family owners to corporations and people who own multiple homes just to rent them out is about 50/50 right now. Every time a house goes up for sale, it ends up as a rental.
Renters don't care about the animals, don't care if their trash is in a bear proof trash can, don't care if they tear up the roads on their ATV/dirt bike/jeep they bring with them. Don't watch for kids, and go 65 on our main road, where the speed limit is 30. No cops though.. since we are rural and not a city. So no radar since we have county sheriff. The bar at the bottom of the 'hood loves it though, because our roads have the reputation of being able to drive drunk on them and not get pulled over.
Anyhow, I digress. Renters don't care. Real home owners do. Us home owners respect the wild life, other people's pets and livestock, the roads, the speed limits... we do have some locals that take advantage of the drinking and driving though. Can't stop that I suppose.
I really, REALLY hope he does something about the out of control real estate issues!
Amen.
Shit he is going to Davos!!!!
How they gonna yoke people to the company store now?
Yanno... like JPM etc are hoping to do with crypto?
Well, until we actually own the land .. this is a shallow win.
The first AI to be left in the wild with self-conscious autonomous reign was Aladdin, the BlackRock investment AI that took over the world and decided that single-family homes was one of their key investments.
They laughed at him, then he cast Allah Din and defeated them all...
Reality is 100% wilder than fiction.

He should have started by banning pedophiles from purchasing single family homes first so the people boycotting this can see how fucking stupid they are.
