Qumran scrolls are about the same age as the Septuagint (285 BC) and date from 300 BC to 100 AD. What's interesting is that the Qumran scrolls agree with the accuracy of the Septuagint more so than the Masoretic Texts.

This does not eliminate the very Bible's categorized under these main branches of Christianity. Normally, the Pope isn't reading from the KJV. Or is a Baptist minister reading from the Catholic Jerusalem Bible. Nor is the Greek or Russian Orthodox reading anything other than the LXX.

For example in the old Jerusalem bible, Isaiah 34:14 mentions "....there too will Lilith take cover seeking rest." The NKJV states -- "Also the night creature shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest. The KJV states -- " the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest." And the HCSB says the following -- "Indeed, the night birds will stay there and will find a resting place.
If anyone knows who 'Lilith' is and the widespread belief of the deity during Isaiah's time, they would certainly have a much better understanding of this verse than the English translation of "night birds". One has to question why the name of Lilith was taken out. The question is did the translators not want the people to know? In the Jewish Kabbalah a part of the Pharisaic Talmud, Lilith is the first wife of Adam, and was banished from Eden. She became a demon and her special delight was to murder young children. Hebrew letters have gone through several revisions. It's true the original letter versions of most of the books of the OT fell out of use. However we still have plenty of writings of such letters, and know how to read them.

Ever heard of the Judean Desert Scrolls which predate the Masoretes by a thousand years? Those scrolls are still readable today. In fact they closely match what the Masoretes produced. An Aleph is still an Aleph whether the character for it is drawn like an X or drawn like an Ox's head.
All the Masoretes did was come up with a canonical text by deciding between variant spellings and synonymous wording, standardized chapters, and added vowels around the text and punctuation marks. From the text itself, the differences between that and texts a millennia earlier are minute.

If there was an original authoritative Greek version extant on everything, there would have been no reason for Aquila or various Church Fathers to do their own translations (or translation updates).

There are many religions, and I don't think you are far off the mark. There is absolutely ONE truth. Our aim as mankind should be to find that ONE truth. That is why faith is so important. If God descended on mankind once every 10 years and said, X religion is correct, everyone believe X, then we like sheep could all believe X, there wouldn't be faith, there would be blind obedience. Instead, God gave man enough evidence to believe in him, and the deeper you dig, the more "anomalies" in the pagan beliefs, and more align with the Bible. Many who have set out to disprove the Bible, often become Christians themselves, and very fervent for it too. There is enough out there that you could come to a completely different conclusion as well. There's enough confusing things out there, that it's hard to know what is true and not true, and this doesn't even factor in the fake news media outlets confusing the confusion even more. So then, each man believes in something, the atheist, agnostic, the sheep, the devout, the thinker. They all have a belief, and most put themselves as God, with believing we know better than God. That's not to say we shouldn't question our churches, our Bible translations, or even ask God, "WHY!?" because these things in and of themselves aren't wrong, but many are led down pathways of evil because of it. They say, all churches are evil, or all translations except X are wrong and heretical, or I'm right, and everyone else, even God is wrong, I'm the master of my own life, you can easily become like the woman from Proverbs who says, "I am, and besides me, there is no other." Most sins we commit, we actually place ourselves above God, as you break down the sins. Take theft for example. You may steal something from a rich man, he won't notice, and you think he doesn't deserve it, and you've done so much good in your life, it shouldn't matter. So you steal. People said, ok, God says don't steal, and you stole, book closed, say X Hail Mary's and go about your business, not a big deal. I disagree, you steal, but what was the bigger sin, what God has given you isn't enough, you tell God that his gifts are insufficient for your needs, and you need to go around his back to get what you deserve. The sin is predominantly a sin against God, not against man, as the rich man could easily replace what you stole if he even noticed it was gone in the first place. This is the depths of sin that people even in the best of churches out there are still lacking. I ask, why do our fellow believers not know this, this OUGHT to be basic. in closing i've ranted too much. I think a good number of people on all religious sides are going to come to realize what they have been taught is far from truth. God wants you to share in an eternal reward in heaven, as joint heirs with Christ, he does NOT promise you wealth on earth, nor is wealth a status in God's eyes. For it is harder for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven than a camel to enter the eye of a needle. To the rich young man who kept all of these commandments since his youth. Go therefore, and sell all of your possessions, give to the poor, and follow me. The man went away sad, for he had many possessions. God wants you to be cleansed from all sin, and never have diseases, when you arrive in heaven, but consider my servant Job, Satan then inflicts him with serious disease, so that everyone around him tells him to curse God, yet he does not. God wants you to be smart/wise. God calls us to be wise, he does not promise college education, good grades in school, or even favor from our employers. The modern Hebrew (neo-Hebrew) word 'Mashiah' was actually translated from the Greek 'chrīstos' in 900 AD. So, it is the opposite of what is being claimed here. The original Hebrew (paleo-Hebrew) was already lost to antiquity for over a thousand years.
Look up "Hebrew" and even Wikipedia tells us that the written Hebrew of modern times (neo-Hebrew) is not paleo-Hebrew. Paleo-Hebrew is the original writings of the books of the Old Testament (OT). As I said, paleo-Hebrew was lost to antiquity.
Modern written Hebrew is based on the work by the Masoretes in 900 AD. Who are the Masoretes? They are Pharisaic Jews (Pharisees), who recreated a new written 'Hebrew' from Arabic and other existing Canaanitish languages because the original Hebrew was lost in antiquity. The Masoretes used the Greek Septuagint Old Testament to create a new written 'Hebrew' that had vowel points.

According to tradition, it was Ptolemy Philadelphus, who purchased the freedom of Israelites in his territories, arranged for 6 scholars from each of the 12 tribes to translate the first 5 books of the Old Testament from paleo-Hebrew into Greek around 285 BC. The original written Hebrew consisted only of consonants and relied on an oral knowledge to decipher the consonant only words. Think of the 'cat' and remove the vowel. It becomes 'ct'. Without the vowel, the word 'ct' could be cat, cot, cut, cute, acute, coat, etc. An individual of knowledge would be required to orally teach others what the word 'ct' was. This is how the priestly class taught and passed on the writings of the bible. The paleo-Hebrew writings were designed for the bible deciphering. This is how the Hebrew written language was passed down generation after generation. It was central to understanding the bible.
With the written Hebrew language being greatly eclipsed and dominated by the very popular Greek language, which was the international language of the day, Hebrew was in danger of being lost. Ptolemy gathered together 72 scholars and in a short period of time they completed the Pentateuch. The Pentateuch is from Greek pentáteuchos and is the first five books of the Old Testament. The Latin name 'Septuagint' means 70, and was later applied to the translation in circa 1555 AD, for there was approximately 70 translators. This is also the reason why the abbreviation 'LXX' is used for this reason. After the first 5 books were finished, the translators set out to work on the rest of the OT. The exact date this was accomplished is not known, but it is certain the complete OT was finished within 100 years and it is likely it was completed within a few years by the same translators.
Did you know that all Protestant bibles are based on the Pharisaic Masoretic Text that was given to the Catholic Church in 900 AD? Does anyone know why the Masoretes re-engineered the OT in a made-up written language? Could it be that in their own writings they believed the bible shouldn't be understood by the public and should remain strictly in the confines of understanding to the rabbis? In other words, they were attempting to undue what Ptolemy did in 285 BC.
In regards, to the bible, if you want to discern the truth, it is best to use old versions of the protestant bible (1636 KJV, Geneva Bible) the Catholic pre-1964 Jerusalem bible, LXX, and a good English-Greek Lexicon (Strong's, Thayers, and especially Liddell-Scott-Jones) to verify and understand the translations. Relying on only the English fails to adequately 'paint' the complete picture of meaning as does the Greek.

The dead sea scrolls (either the oldest, or nearly the oldest document) confirm the best translations. ESV is a word for word translation with grammatical changes made to fit English because English, as a language, blows chunks. Both ESV and NIV, not to mention other translations like HCSB have all derived from the oldest transcripts, being translated by Christians of different denominations, all agreeing on the different definitions of words. These denominations are not picked at random, they are ones that hold firmly to the conception that the word of God is holy and perfect, that man inspired by God wrote what he desired. The Geneva Bible is a fine Bible, I have no known issues with it. It is however a couple hundred years old, so if you wanna bust out a thesaurus to read it, that's your choice. If you think that people 500 years ago were un-corruptable, but we are ultra-corruptable, then I believe you've dug yourself in too deep mentally into realities that don't exist. There is a danger of saying everyone and everything that disagrees with me is wrong, and is Deep State meant to confuse us. Some people are genuinely mistaken, they do things to the best of their abilities to the best of their knowledge, but it is fraught with sin, and has the likelihood to be errant. When it comes to translations, you have to look at those who translated it, what were their intentions in the translation, and how does it pan out? What effective changes did they make? Reading the NIV, which is a phrase for phrase translation, compared to the ESV, which is more word for word, you notice the phrasing is different between the two. When you look at the effectual change, there really isn't any. A Christian who studied one over the other is not any better or worse off. Does this mean the two translations are equal? No, I think the concept of the ESV (much like a modern Geneva Bible) is a cleaner translation, because of its particular focus on things like word for word being more important than phrase for phrase based on who the translators are, it gives them [the translators] more authority to change things, even if barely slightly. I'd prefer the translators have as little responsibility as possible, much like the government should have the smallest responsibility as possible. To say that all protestant bibles etc. Do you realize how many people are under the umbrella of Protestant. Any non-Catholic Christian is considered a protestant, whether they claim the title or not. So I think you do wrong by your claim, in the future, please be more specific about who you say is blasphemous, or strike with a more appropriate strike. If anyone knows who 'Lilith' is and the widespread belief of the deity during Isaiah's time, they would certainly have a much better understanding of this verse than the English translation of "night birds". One has to question why the name of Lilith was taken out. The question is did the translators not want the people to know? In the Jewish Kabbalah a part of the Pharisaic Talmud, Lilith is the first wife of Adam, and was banished from Eden. She became a demon and her special delight was to murder young children. Hebrew letters have gone through several revisions. It's true the original letter versions of most of the books of the OT fell out of use. However we still have plenty of writings of such letters, and know how to read them.
Ever heard of the Judean Desert Scrolls which predate the Masoretes by a thousand years? Those scrolls are still readable today. In fact they closely match what the Masoretes produced. Most of them use the more modern Hebrew letters, some of them use the older Hebrew. Some use both. An Aleph is still an Aleph whether the character for it is drawn like an X or drawn like an Ox's head.
All the Masoretes did was come up with a canonical text by deciding between variant spellings and synonymous wording, standardized chapters, and added vowels around the text and punctuation marks. From the text itself, the differences between that and texts a millennia earlier are minute.
The Masoretes were not Pharisaic Jews, they were Karaite Jews.
The original Septuagint was only on the first 5 books of the OT, and has been long lost, as it was replaced by many later updated Greek translations. The Judean Desert Scrolls though are from the time frame you mention, and are in old Hebrew lettering, new Hebrew lettering, and Greek.

If there was an original authoritative Greek version extant on everything, there would have been no reason for Aquila or various Church Fathers to do their own translations (or translation updates).

There are many religions, and I don't think you are far off the mark. There is absolutely ONE truth. Our aim as mankind should be to find that ONE truth. That is why faith is so important. If God descended on mankind once every 10 years and said, X religion is correct, everyone believe X, then we like sheep could all believe X, there wouldn't be faith, there would be blind obedience. Nah I’m growing more anti-Israel by the day…. Something has never felt quite right about our relationship. I’m a confirmed catholic turned agnostic by the religious failure of the institution. I had my own awakening over a decade ago. But very much, not the Jew lolz
Oh ok haha. How sad though that the Jewish subversion of the Catholic church would cause you to renounce Christ. (unless I am making an incorrect assumption there?) But then again, it would not surprise me at all. That is the purpose of the subversion, to turn everyone they can away from Christ. The state of the church today is evil beyond recognition and has been since at least the Second Council.
