Just gone on RSOE the Hungary based disaster database.
This popped up showing a severe storm in Antarctica with wind speeds of 600 knots.

Speed of sound is 760 mph. Max wind-speed recorded is 300mph, happens inside tornadoes.
Shit lol. Had a look fastest ever recorded was 240 ish mph, i dare say its a sensor reporting issue
Or something unworldly has been released from under the ice.
According to my other half the only wind thats that fast..
Yoi dutch ovened her, didn't you.
Yes. Once but she caught on quick
the best is to lift up the sheets like a circus tent, then let it go. the falling sheets blows all the goodness right towards the pillows :P
Chemical warfare lol
Everyone likes their own brand for some strange reason.
"you foul foul man!" - exact quote. She never used that word ever, foul, so it made me smile so wide.
..or a penguin playing with the shiny spinner....lol
Antarctic Nazis incoming!
Yeah very likely a sensor malfunction since uh... that speed would literally obliterate the sensor...
I wonder how we know the speed a of nuclear blast, which is faster than the speed of sound.
Recorders with black boxes or something that can be measured after an event.
This is measuring in real time. But I x-checked Windy.com and it did not agree.
I vote sensor malfunction too. There appear to be some high winds going on in Russia, per this site, at 190+ mph.
This site is incredibly accurate and almost in realtime.
The U.K. had a severe storm overnight and another expected today gusts up to 100mph.
When I checked there is 1 small incident.
There are a couple of flag markers in yellow and Orange with low windspeeds.
The nearest red is in Russia/ Siberia at around 170mph.
We've got a 5 knot westerly here in the Netherlands and it's bad but 600 .... ? If it's not a glitch perhaps it's a divine clean-up job.
Edit: tornadoes building in US

Holy HAARP Batman.
Wish I could upvote this more than once 😂😂
To put into perspective, this is 200-300 mph faster that an airliner at cruising speed.
Nuclear wind?
I thought I’d cross verify with the World Meteorological site.
For some reason they don’t record Antarctica.
Perhaps the aliens are up to something?
No such thing as aliens - think demons instead
What's the difference?
Demons live here on the earthly plane with us. Demons are evil spirits who hate God and wish to corrupt humanity into becoming Godless heathens.
Aliens are physical entities from "outer space" and could technically be anything according to science-fiction.
Alien technology is military technology. The fake alien invasion will be used to usher in a new era of demon worship.
I appreciate your understanding of what's going on. It takes a lot of unbiased research to realise these conclusions. But the "ushering in" that you speak of is destined for failure. This Great Awakening that we are a part of has become an unstoppable force. God wins and we win my fren.
Would an explosive shockwave record that kind of "wind speed" perhaps?
Interesting.
Possible nuclear makes sense.
That's what I'm thinking too.
Why is it still going HOURS AND HOURS later?
The needle on the dial got stuck.
Was it a sustained 330m/s wind? In that case then probably not.
This site is showing a speed of 641knots and that converts to 737.7 mph!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_of_sound
So the speed recorded is effectively on or around the speed of sound. Check out the first image on Wikipedia of a localised weather phenomenon around a jet plane.
Possibly adds to the mysteries of what goes on in Antarctica.
Keep in mind that wind isn't in any way limited by the speed of sound... Speed of sound limits the speed that a perturbation moves within a medium, whereas with wind the medium itself is moving. It's like putting a big aquarium on a train basically, but with air instead of water. The fish wouldn't know the difference. It does mean however that an aircraft flying against the wind would basically have to go supersonic in order to move forwards and not backwards in relation to the ground.
Welp. That would be a storm for sure.
I remember RSOE. Seemed like a perpetual apocalypse on that site every single day.
Speed: 330m/s (641knots); Direction: SSW. Wowzy!
Miles per second??!!
Meters per second
Million per second. Unfathomable...
Severe? That word would not even begin to describe it.
Speed of sound = 343 meters per second
So the contention on that site is that the wind would blow at almost MACH-1, the speed the sound.
Latitude -73.63 Longitude 160.63 That would be south of Tasmania. There is a storm right now with according to windy.com 40knots winds.
It seems someone may have forgotten to put a comma or a period in there to indicate decimals.
Well that would be interesting
Hmmm, directly south of NZ.
Hope this isn't the Storm that nothing can stop ;)
That's about 125 mph faster than a 45 ACP (230 grain) bullet if my math is correct. Good thing they don't have many 2x4's laying around down there.
THE VRIL COLONY AWAKENS
LOL no it isn't. That is a busted sensor.
It's a nuke shockwave.
1000 km = 540 knots or 621 mph
Could it be some kind of message?
The song, Stormy Weather enters the chat 😎
That has to be a typo. 600 knots would be 691 mph. Even the strongest tornadoes don't reach 400 mph.
I believe it is suppose to be 60 mph.
Knots are not mph
I know knots are not MPH😉but for simplicity it was easier to under represent the speed as MPH as that is how most us interpret wind speed.
Knots are not for naught!
...Not!
50 knots I believe is 58 mph
That is 739 mph
ThanQ🧠
I'm busting out some Pepsi cans and heading to Antarctica. See you there fellow storm chasers.
Safe travels! ;) https://www.redgifs.com/watch/measlyoddballkinkajou
Kek
Preistley Glacier 🤔
So did you contact the source and ask for verification?
Any man made structure (and sensors) would be destroyed with any such wind speeds.
Blame fucked up equipment.
If I were an umbrella I'd call that fear porn.

641 Knotts is actually 737.65 MPH. This is entirely possible on a flat earth.
the speed of sound is about 761 mph
To reach mach speeds you need a wind tunnel capable of containing tremendous pressures.
330m/s equals 738 mph. Almost the speed of sound.
Now at 641 knots or 736.49 mph. HIGHLY doubt it
641 knots equals 737 mph. 7+3+7 = you know what.
Hmm?
