I understand that a well made suit can be quite comfortable, but I could never afford a well made suit of that caliber. Had to wear them for work for a job I had for 3 years. Had an older coworker who had to make a couple trips to Hong Kong, and was able to buy a couple of finely tailored, well made, silk suits that fit him to a T. He said the measurements the guy made were nothing short of embarrassing, but it was worth it. Looked great, and he claimed they were more comfortable than regular clothes. Different times.

Times change I get that, but the Modernist era and the clothes that came from it are iconic in my opinion.
My dad was working class - skilled labor, lucky to have a sport coat for special occasions. I had to learn the hard way, so not too familiar with the Mod movement, or maybe I didn't know what it was.
But I always pay attention to the suits the talk show hosts are wearing, if I happen to catch a little of a show. Some guys wear very nice suits, you can tell they fit like a second skin.

I have two suits and kilt jacket/waistcoat.
I got the suits for about £100, can buy them off the rack and then get measured and tailored for free.
