No, I honestly do not think that was the case. Trump simply got a whole lot of really bad advice when it came to who he surrounded himself with. He learned some really hard lessons during his time in the WH and even after. There are only a very small handful of people that he can trust. Trump's style is not to micromanage. He likes to delegate and he does expect those he gives responsibility to perform. He gives people a chance to show what they are made of.
