With Trump calling himself a stable genius, I present to you - H.R.3736 - STABLE GENIUS Act
🔍 VOTABLE!
Introduced in House (07/12/2019)
Standardizing Testing and Accountability Before Large Elections Giving Electors Necessary Information for Unobstructed Selection Act or the STABLE GENIUS Act
https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/house-bill/3736?r=40&s=1
Sponsor: Rep. Boyle, Brendan F. [D-PA-2]
That’s the most hilarious thing I’ve ever seen.
Next to Covfefe act, right?
Both introduced to mock Trump.
But this stable genius one to be brought up again is funny because of Biden and Fetterman
There is another meaning...
Think back to President Trump's first term, when he was accused of being unstable and mentally unfit for office by the DS corporate media.
He responded that he was a "stable genius"... way back then (2017-2018 time frame).
The proposed law (STABLEGENIUS act of 2019) may be tied together with that somehow... or not. I am not sure.
It was introduced by a democrat?
Yes to mock Trump
So another boomerang?
Stealth bomber.
Get out of town! 🤣😅😆
They should also include a bill for that same campaign committeee to file a report of that person's eligibility to be POTUS. Ya know a Natural Born citizen.
That requirement is already in the Constitution. The biggest problems we have are: (1) Few have any idea what the Constitution actually says and (2) Few even care that we have a supreme law of our land. (3) The Constitution has become a mere piece of paper to be disregarded. All three include the American people who are supposed to be an informed people as to their rights, duties and responsibilities AND what that limits are of our government at all levels.
Edit Reason: clarity
It's not that long or difficult to read. It needs to be taught and tested on in US public schools. Then people here will honor it. https://theamericanview.com/
Exactly , we need to push this in every state to be added to school curriculum.
We were taught the Constitution and had to memorize the Preamble
Yes, I know it is but people seem to forget it a lot.
Agree completely, but admittedly anons sometimes forget about the constitution also (e.g. the number of people calling for secret military tribunals of civilians).
It has been a long time since I read the law of war manual. But there are certain situations where a private citizen can be considered an enemy combatant when involved with treason or working with an external enemy of the country. Therefore it allows the citizen to be tried under a military tribunal.
So we can citizens arrest enemy combatants right?
Had a FB conversation with someone today who told me that “state centric” never worked that’s why the articles of confederation were written. I lost brain cells
The Articles of Confederation preceded the Constitution. The feeling was that the fed gov needed more authority/power but it was confined by 17 powers....which of course, they ignore. The states had much more power under the Articles of Confederation....I think the feds needed a little more. Government is like fire, a dangerous servant and a fearful master. attributed to G. Washington.
Yes, I know what the articles of confederation were, why they were written, and I’ve also read the constitution, quite a few times. Sorry if I’m spicy but it was a lot of brain cells being killed yesterday on a forum I abandoned years ago. Trying to explain roe v wade and how our constitution works (to a dum dum). Not sure he was aware of the 10th.
👍👍 Got it. It is exhausting trying to communicate with the brain-dead.
What? Smh
Yup! It’s like talking to five year olds.
This!
The first thing that needs to be done is define the term "Natural Born Citizen" in the context of today's language. People on this forum have different ideas of what that means.
There are 2 types of American citizens today: citizen by birth, and citizen through the naturalization process. Natural Born Citizen would seem to most closely correlate with citizen by birth.
But some people want a more restrictive definition than that, such as citizen by birth AND both parents are US citizens AND the birth happened within the borders of the United States. None of this is spelled out in the Constitution. It is very open to interpretation.
The Constitution means what the framers intended it to mean.
Therefore, we have to understand what they understood at the time when they wrote the words and signed their names to it.
Natural born citizen was (a) born on US soil (b) to 2 citizen parents. That came from Vattel's "Law of Nations." It is why they had an exception to this rule for anyone already living at the time the Constitution was written, because none of them could qualify when the new government had not yet been established. But starting with new children being born, this was the requirement.
Then they proceed to nominate the most braindead candidate in history 2 years later
If fetterman survives till then... we may not have seen anything yet... considering his girlfriend from PA dick levine...
Fetterperson that has a penis! Get it right transphobe
Did you assume it still has a penis? Bigot. Even if it does have a penis the penis might identity as a venus. God why do I come here? I can't even...
Patriots in control Fren. Don't know who he is, but he's doing a tremendous job.
Who is who?
introduced but not passed. Hmm.
Well there’s always 2024…pass it 2023 and Biden wouldn’t pass- unless….she/it exams him

Need to expand it to all federal offices both elected and appointed.
He did this to make fun of Trump. Am I the only one who remembers this?
No, I remember it, too. A Dem introduced it after Trump's health exam, when there was a big to do about his real weight and what his mental cognitive exam included.
It was a big joke aimed at the POTUS.
I really don't understand how people here can think it's something to be appreciated.
Because not everyone is aware or remembers that or is American. So that context is useful thanks.
Good point. I hadn't thought of some of those scenarios. Thanks for bringing me out of my knowledge circle there.
I'd thought of another explanation that might explain this and other scenarios as well.
I've seen many people here say that they get all of their information from here or similar sites. They rarely to never read MSM material.
And sites such as this would most likely not post things that insult the POTUS. So they never see these things.
Which is one reason why it's important to get your info from several sources. You don't have to believe what they say, but sometimes it's important to know about things that won't make it to places like here.
/pontificating 😁
I put this up more as joke than anything.
I don't know how to search old Trump tweets, I know he used this term for himself previously, curious if he used it first then they named this monstrosity, or did they come up with this then he started using the term.
This is very interesting. Esp coming from PA. I mean look at that current situation. Very interesting.
High paid lobbyists come up with these cutesy names for bills, then in between cocaine orgies they have their leashed lackeys in congress rubber stamp them.
Excellent acronym work
So, I read it:
Basically, it's a poorly thought out, poorly written law that would have been a legal nightmare if it had ever been signed into law. The biggest concern is: what if the candidate is deemed unfit to serve? Sleep Joe goes in for the exam and the doc says "Bruh, you're freaking senile"? What the law here has done is essentially add an unconstitutional test to become president that is not in the Constitution. Does the physician then to get to cancel the guy's candidacy? (unconstitutional) Does the party get to pick a different nominee or does this doc essentially create a one-man race if he finds something disqualifying?
And what if he doesn't find something disqualifying, but it's a bad deal. Candidate goes in and doc says "Hey Frank, I know you're a Roosevelt and sort of American royalty, but your blood pressure's sky high, you're about 3 seconds from a stroke, you can't walk, and you can barely stand long enough to give speeches." You shouldn't be anywhere near the Oval Office. It's not disqualifying, and let's say there's a giant world war going on and no one wants to look weak. Does this physician have a duty to disclose this information to the public? Does the candidate have any right to privacy? Does the exam constitute an unreasonable search of the person who has committed no crime but could potentially have his rights to run for office stripped by violating his 4th amendment rights to be secure against unwarranted search?
Like I said, it's a legal nightmare. No one thought this one through.
This seems to me to be a comm by president trump alluding to the present voting fraud in PA.
45 full of surprises I love it.
Interesting but it never passed.
Introduced by a D though?
Back when they wanted to get rid of Trump.
what a DINO
Dist 2 (North East part of Philly). Brendan Boyle. Kept his seat this election.
They claimed he was too fat and he was mentally unstable, hence the name making fun of Trump's Stable Genius claim.
Introduced then nothing. Action By: House of Representatives Sponsor: Rep. Boyle, Brendan F. [D-PA-2]
Relevancy; Diane Feinstein, Susan Collins and now Fetterman.
Interesting.
Of course, Congress cannot impose a requirement to hold an office that is outside of the requirements written in the Constitution.
That is the entire purpose of limiting the powers of government -- government employees cannot decide for themselves what the requirements are.
Interesting idea, but unconstitutional.
So I’m guessing this was introduced but never voted on. The next congress can bring it to a vote. Interesting.
We should test the whole damn committee!if not the whole damn congress!
for those interested in the saga around the phrase: " very stable genius" from January 2018.
https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/01/confirmed_trump_is_indeed_a_very_stable_genius.html
I read somewhere that the first use of the phrase "durable genius" came from starship troopers book.
Pre echoes of success.
If be good if we just stopped the foreign Influence they seem to respond to.
STABLE GENIUS
"Standardizing Testing and Accountability Before Large Elections Giving Electors Necessary Information for Unobstructed Selection".
So where's the horses?
It does sound like a racehorse name.
This cant be real
