worthless to me
What, you didn’t go pick up a couple of Rembrandt’s to hang in the bathroom like I did? You missed out, I’ll pick you up one on the next one fren.
Yard sale gaudy crap. Not the Rembrandts but most of the shit in those photos is too ornate for 99.999999 percent of home decor.
If anyone wants the available $10 Million reward, you can point to the "Secret" Rothschild collection for the art stolen from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.
Amazingly, after 33 years, the artwork has never been found.
The local theory is Whitey Bulger's crew did the heist and the discrete cabal were the benefactors.
Fun fact; Whitey "coincidentally" won the Mass State lottery a year after the heist to the tune of $14 million. It was probably his payoff for doing the job.
EDIT: It slipped my mind that John Durham was the lead prosecutor in Whitey's trial.
Buy (steal) low, sell high. Once the MOASS comes and the whole economy crashes they could buy it all back again.
My FBI agent gets a vote.
LOL. 100% agree. This is nothing more than rich fuks fencing stolen property
The sales, which concluded on Tuesday, marked the first dedicated auction in North America of works from the French branch of the long-time banking family. Most of the lots were acquired in the 19th century by Baron James Mayer de Rothschild, his wife Betty and their son Alphonse, and have remained in their descendants’ collection since.
As for why the family chose to sell the collection now, Rendell believes it may have been a “rationalization” and a “generational shift” in attitude. “Not everybody lives like a 19th-century Rothschild, even the Rothschilds,” he said.
that's not that much considering who we're talking about.
yeah that's pocket change for those people.
Sounds like they ain’t doin too shabby; sounds good :^)
Yeah I actually thought that was kinda low for them.
Rookie numbers.
Dead or in prison?
Nah. This doesn't even suggest that to me. They're trillionaires; this is pocket change to them and probably just part of a redecorating project at one of their many properties, or a "cleaning out the closets" thing.
I think the theory was why would Trillionaires sell anything like that they would be able to keep it forever and store it. I think maybe their vast fortune has gone so now are resorting to selling off their things to get money possibly.
Could be just getting rid of crap their grandparents had lying around that they did not want, but just odd they are selling it all off.
LOL.
The other day, I drove by a garage sale sign and thought, "Man, they must be dead or in prison!"
There's no need to be rude, ever. And name calling is not an argument.
This is the public auction, I heard they had a private auction for the big ticket items.
including all the occult stuff I expect
And the stuff that would make even Podesta blush.
Probably the kids being auctioned off in that one, sadly enough.
AND...the mansion should be bull-dozed down, the land burned off of any evil and perhaps a beautiful meadow takes over for our beautiful wildlife.
After the exorcism!
Amen. We're definitely going to have to 'CLEANSE' this evil off the face of the earthl.
Better yet, put a pig farm there.
Oink Oink. I see what you mean.
I can't picture those people parting with anything they own. Why would they?
Trump merged the Fed into the Treasury & took all their stolen gold they had with their banker the Pope. All they got left is to grift off their minions
Exactly they have been selling assets. These are people they don’t sell assets that have been in their family for hundreds of years.
Unless they know their time is short
When did that happen?
Why not? 62 million isn’t much of anything to them. Now if this was all their properties, high-value assets, and companies - then it would be sus. But this is essentially like a garage sale.
My point is that if someone had nearly unlimited wealth, they have no real reason to sell anything they own. Why do normal people sell their belongings? Usually because they either need the cash, or the space said belongings are occupying. The Rothschilds don't need the cash, and if they ran out of space, they could buy a secured warehouse to store all their expensive art and other crap. Ultimately, the point of my point, is that I suspect there might be more to this story that we aren't being told.
People sell things they don’t want anymore. Garage sales aren’t because people need cash or ran out of space. Most of the time it’s just suburban households with plenty financial flexibility to afford to rent a storage unit, but just don’t want the items anymore.
Other assets frozen 🥶..?
new generation
And they transferred their wealth to other wealthy demons... I didn't think that was how the seizure of assets for criminals would do down.... but wtf do I know.
Doesnt matter. Trumps EO's mean no matter who they try to hide money transfers w will still default to the Republic.
All the earnings should be distributed back to We The People!
I hope they are dead, and their progeny. If all involved in the evil aren’t wiped out, what is to stop the progeny from doing their evil deeds over and over, i.e. the “sins of their father?”
isn't this a repost?
Yes.
I agree with OP that something is definitely off because they are hoarders of power, greed, pride and they are selfish.
Some folks are born silver spoon in hand Lord, don't they help themselves, Lord? But when the taxman come to the door Lord, the house lookin' like a rummage sale, yeah...
No, the family who controls everyone's currency is not in prison.
Chump change
From what I hear they do this all the time. YMMV.
I heard about it several months ago but thought it was just rumors. It's true then. Wow.
Hmmm New York City should buy the wall hanging ones so to decorate the men’s restroom at its bus stations.
Someone buy it and burn it
I apologise for calling an anon a moron
Or just broke which would be the most logical conclusion.
Not sure why this is important. If they have 100s of homes, selling knick nack and brick-a-brack from one or two of them doesn't mean anything, unless it is symbolic for some reason.
The families are allegedly worth billions/trillions. This seems like a garage sale.
One other angle to consider... Maybe they are selling off possessions someone else wants/needs for their collection. The question I have is - do the buyers have something tangible the Rothchilds want or need, or even a "service" they need?
To make this more clear - think of it like the NFL draft. Team A has a pick or a player Team B wants. Team B offers them something and it isn't enough, so Team B sweetens the offer with a few picks for later draft rounds. Maybe the Rothchilds need something someone else has and letting Art go to them is their way of sweetening the deal.
So this was a liquidation of assets that were seized under EO 13848 and/or 13818?
if i cant look at Picasso's while i'm taking a shit, I'll take it somewhere else
