I tend to agree with your idea, but! I truly believe this winner should be selected from Veterans who understand the gravity and the fortitude to carry out the order with no emotions attached of such an "honor". He/she can enjoy that moment quietly once relieved of the post.

Nay nay, young Jedi knight. A long sentence(20-30 years) and then knowing the ultimate sentence is death by execution would be great. Imagine HRC old and crippled walking out of her cell and right to the gallows. That's twenty years for her to ponder the mistakes she made against this great country.
