The U.S. Department of Justice said that two active-duty U.S. Army soldiers, Jian Zhao and Li Tian, and a veteran, Ruoyu Duan, were in the process of attempting to sell national defense intelligence to Chinese agents. Zhao and Tian were stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
In addition to treason charges, Tian and Duan face counts of bribery and theft of government property. Meanwhile, Zhao faces a charge of conspiracy to transmit national defense information to someone not authorized to have it.
“Jian Zhao and Li Tian, active-duty U.S. Army soldiers stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, along with Ruoyu Duan, a former U.S. Army soldier, were arrested today following indictments by federal grand juries in the District of Oregon and the Western District of Washington,”
All Chinese that are allowed to leave the country for the US are given spying assignments under threat to their families back home. If we allow them to serve in our military this is what we get.
Do they not vet people wanting into our military? And with names like these! Sorry, I do realize that there are plenty of patriotic Americans with foreign-sounding names, but come on!
Exactly. I was thinking the same. For example, three members of my family have served the US military and have been faithful to this country. I wanted to serve when I was younger but couldn’t due I have a Harrington Rod in my back, but I could served somehow. I was sad
Everyone is vetted. If you have a clean record, no objection. And then some people become corrupted, either avidly, or by a process of addiction. Foreign powers troll for fish all the time. I recall the first requirement for high security clearance is U.S. citizenship.
And what's wrong with Chinese names? Are they more poisonous than English names? Or German names? Or Dutch names? Or Swiss names? Or African names? Or French names? Or Norwegian names? Or Icelandic names? That's just my family. We were all immigrants. Who doesn't have a "foreign-sounding" name? I've had friends with Welsh, Scots, Swedish, Portuguese, Serbian, Polish, Hungarian, Vietnamese, Latvian, Hebrew, Hindu, and Armenian names. No name any more suspicious than any other. Benedict Arnold did not have a "foreign-sounding" name. Your "but come on!" is simply a bigoted insult against most of the people in my life.
The only ones who do not have "foreign-sounding" names are indigenous Americans, with names we would not recognize.
Nah man, this aint it. There are A LOT of vetting issues in the US military and we let people in from all over. Have you ever seen a white guy in any asian military? No. Because the truth is foreign = less likely to be loyal. I agree its a small percentage but the fact remains that almost no other country allows it. I didnt hate any fellow service members but its weird serving next to people who barely speak english in our own military
Truth of the matter is that it’s a blend of what you’re saying, and what he’s saying.
We have our own homegrown problems to deal with as well.
Brennan was a white muslim, e.g. We’ve surely had communists in the military. No Name. We undoubtedly had natives doing horrific things in some of our engagements.
Idk...names like Sorensen and O'Reilly and Vincenzo clearly all originate in other countries. Of course we're all immigrants.
Maybe we've become a little skittish about it when our fighting forces have Jian Zhao and Li Tian defending the constitution. Be honest...if the perps names were Muslim, would we need to ignore that as well?
I've seen how you've been engaged in argument over this, and I doubt we have anything to beef about, really. I don't personally love the idea of Chinese infiltrators in any part of the government, and you really can't deny that they're flipping everywhere.
To your point, there's nothing wrong with Chinese names (or any other), as long as they aren't spooking.
The issue is not "foreign-sounding names." The issue is disloyalty and/or criminality. The most egregious spies have been ordinary Americans. I live on the west coast, and Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese names are commonplace.
For $15k? That’s a pretty low going rate for treason. Is it a race to the bottom in the treason market these days? Rates are in free fall? Too much competition?
Well the USAID money flow did get abrupted - I'm sure there's budget cuts downstream! (just kidding, I'm guessing $15k was the pre-Trump administration rate).
Maybe the idea is to use threat of Epstein release to lower guard to counterpunches while their protection network and MkUltra cells are being neutralized behind the scenes?
While I greatly appreciate these arrests, the only thing I want Patel & Bongino focused on in the near term is exposing the handlers and networks of Presidential assassins Routh & Crooks.
IMO, no issue should be more significant than publicly exposing and prosecuting the networks behind these two pieces of shit. President Trump's safety is everything, especially at this delicate time when the table is being set for the destruction of the deep state and the Cabal that controls the deep state.
The sheer logistics of it imply that some states may have to have their own tribunal system. Look at how many millions of lives affected & lost to these ass hats.
I want to see Fang Fang hand cuff and bent over Oooooopppp sorry wrong website. Eric Swalwell ( D congress) ended ties with Fang in 2015 after U.S. intelligence briefed him and top members of Congress on concerns that Chinese agents were attempting to infiltrate Congress.
Welcome to arrests for treason being introduced into the mainstream. Also just added were execution by firing squad in South Carolina.
We are moving closer.
Chinese nationals of course, they were never faithful to our nation that is sad.
I saw the firing squad thing too. Was it posted here?
Yes
Well Booker and Harris had the “No Lynching Legislation”. Which Dem is going for the no firing squad legislation?

Sun Ting Wong still at large.
This is just the start
Ho Li Fuk it was a joke

The states of Oregon and Washington going after a bad guy? I thought those states were corrupt and wanted bad people doing bad things freely
Feds, not states.
Still these federal aren’t much better
Do they not vet people wanting into our military? And with names like these! Sorry, I do realize that there are plenty of patriotic Americans with foreign-sounding names, but come on!
They may have been placed there for exactly that purpose.
Exactly. I was thinking the same. For example, three members of my family have served the US military and have been faithful to this country. I wanted to serve when I was younger but couldn’t due I have a Harrington Rod in my back, but I could served somehow. I was sad
Under Buyden? No

Please have some second thoughts.
Q is worldwide, you are on the right path do not mind the downvotes.
They are a badge of honor sometimes.
Get over it. Most of us come from immigrant families.
That was his point!

Who says these guys were foreign? I pointed out that U.S. citizenship was normally a prerequisite---or did you miss that?
Truth of the matter is that it’s a blend of what you’re saying, and what he’s saying.

Brennan was a white muslim, e.g. We’ve surely had communists in the military. No Name. We undoubtedly had natives doing horrific things in some of our engagements.
I doubt there’s a 100% answer.
Like a Chinese menu, it looks like some upvotes on Column A and downvotes on Column B.

Good points! It's probably incredibly common. I think they start with the small & absurdly obvious fish
They were using Benedict Arnold rates, and reduced by $5k for being of lesser rank. Forgot to ask for the land and title though.
Well the USAID money flow did get abrupted - I'm sure there's budget cuts downstream! (just kidding, I'm guessing $15k was the pre-Trump administration rate).
15K and the threat to their families if they don't do as they are told.
So, we finally have traitors arrested. I hope the Bondi & Patel doomers have their thirst slaked for the while.
Until I actually see something from her (or unless I've missed something), I'm still not sold on Bondi.
Me too . The only thing was Fake Epstain documents release And stop funding for cities with sheltering illegals
That second thing alone is enough to not doom over her
Maybe the idea is to use threat of Epstein release to lower guard to counterpunches while their protection network and MkUltra cells are being neutralized behind the scenes?
I'm a bit skeptical of Bondi, too, but here we have 2 arrests for treason, which the DOJ will have to prosecute.
This might be the "first arrest" (as it is for TREASON), and DOJ can figure out how best to prosecute in the questionable courts.
It is most definitely a step in the right direction -- so far.
This is GREAT news. Make sure you get the other criminals in our government also, Director Patel. And thanks.
They are a disgrace to the military and the U.S.
Execute them 🇺🇸
With chopsticks
Find me one single person shocked by this. I'll wait.
While I greatly appreciate these arrests, the only thing I want Patel & Bongino focused on in the near term is exposing the handlers and networks of Presidential assassins Routh & Crooks.

The more interesting narrative is how they knew what these guys were doing.
That was my first thought.
Wouldn’t they go through military tribunals?
Active-Duty and Former U.S. Army Soldiers Arrested for Theft of Government Property and Bribery Scheme--Thursday, March 6, 2025
“The defendants arrested today are accused of betraying our country, actively working to weaken America’s defense capabilities and empowering our adversaries in China,” said Attorney General Pamela J. Bondi. “They will face swift, severe, and comprehensive justice.”....The FBI and the U.S. Army Counterintelligence Command investigated the case. -- https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/active-duty-and-former-us-army-soldiers-arrested-theft-government-property-and-bribery
He barely needs to leave his office if he wants to find treasonous lowlifes.
There's so many people that have committed treason.
There's going to have to be massive arrests at some point right? Who's goin to arrest all those people from the sealed indictments
The sheer logistics of it imply that some states may have to have their own tribunal system. Look at how many millions of lives affected & lost to these ass hats.
Maybe NG can hold tribunals? idk
Treason, must execute, don’t give prison time.
Yells in Orchish...." Looks like TREASON is back on the menu boys!"
u/#Catdance
Lol, just saw that scene yesterday. Sadly reviewing their work is the best way to strategize against them locally
Wake me up when he gets to Obamas crew. A couple of chinese spies in the armed forces doesn't really move the needle. Low hanging fruit.
Now finish the look into Tim Walz.
Here, here!
Why is it "shocking" that he is doing his job?
Because government hasn't been cleaned out for a very long time. :)
'tis the season 😎
Someone (s) ball (s) are going to be hanging from Kash Patels rear view mirror
Last name Comey(s)
It’s easy to arrest the Chinamen. Arrest the ones we all know if you really had balls. Like George Washington.
??
I want to see Fang Fang hand cuff and bent over Oooooopppp sorry wrong website. Eric Swalwell ( D congress) ended ties with Fang in 2015 after U.S. intelligence briefed him and top members of Congress on concerns that Chinese agents were attempting to infiltrate Congress.
Eric has entered the chat! Kek! 😂😂
First arrest/confirm direction makes a lot of sense now
Try them. Upon conviction, publicity take them out back, shoot them in the back of the head, and then air drop their corpse back into chyna
msm is reporting on this so its probably not true
Small potatoes. What about the real big criminals
Must do the least obvious first. Let the big fish at least FEEL safe until it's time.
The first arrest will shock the world....
wait is this it? it's not what i was expecting..so i guess i'm shocked?
FIRST ARREST will verify action and confirm future direction. #3716
The fact that the charge is TREASON might be significant.
How often has treason been charged?
This might be a test case for DOJ to determine the best way to prosecute in these corrupt courts.
there will be more
There had damn well better be. But I trust this is just a signal, as u/mountaingale suggests.
