If lockdowns and such really worked, you wouldn't see such similar results, California would have far lower case and mortality rates.
Their argument against this was incredible. "All places did it badly, for different reasons, and that's why the results are so similar. It's not that mandates don't work, it's that people are selfish and don't follow them".
