The joke's on them. I don't like doing laundry, so I have several pairs of jeans that I wear. I put all of them in the washing machine once every quarter and wash them all at once.
I own enough pairs of jeans to get me thru the week and I wash them after one wear in my once a week laundry day. They've lasted years. I've never once had a pair wear out.
Anyone else here feel like they are "sticking it to the man!" (the man being corporate America) by NOT buying ANY new clothes? (at least to the maximum extent possible) (I have been wearing the same clothes, except for underwear and socks :) , pretty much for the past 30 years, and supplementing with used clothes from Goodwill and the like) I even have a T-shirt that I wear a lot, from 1988! (I wish they were all made as well; others seem to wear out after about 20 washings!) I love NOT being part of the "buy stuff all the time" crowd! My wife isn't a big fan of this philosophy :)
We thrift store shop all the time, and I know it's facebook but our town has a rummage sale page, and a giveaway page for people to buy sell or just give stuff away.
The quality of new clothing is awful. Very thin. Poor thread quality. Doesn't matter the cost either. Expensive designs are just minimally better than cheap crap from Target.
Thrift stores in resort areas will often have amazing deals! A friend of mine once bought an ~$175 winter coat for about $25, like new, at a store in Estes Park, CO.
Actually washing denim is what wears that fabric out. In fact, washing causes more damage to your clothes than wearing them. That lint in your dryer is your clothes...The globalists love you paying 8-20 bucks for 50 cents worth of deturgent.
After a hard morning workout, a cold shower is the only thing that will keep me functional for the day. If I take a warm or hot shower, I am wiped. If I take a cold shower, it helps flush out all the crap that accumulates in my worn out muscles and I actually can do other things throughout the day. I actually have come to like my cold shower! It makes me human. Washing jeans though, I seldom do it unless they stink to high heaven.
I'd imagine hot water helps you flush more, as it stimulates the blood. I'm the opposite but I don't do morning workouts. I shower in the morning instead and a warm shower eases me into my day.
Yes but as you scrub yourself you can get stuff out of your pores. Warm water is more effective at opening up your pores. Your pores are naturally an ejection site for crap, hence why your body stinks of booze after a heavy knight of drinking, same with curry-heavy meals.
I believe it to be true. My brother was having lupus like symptoms for a few years. He took hot showers, and I don’t know how he did it. I would have stopped bathing. And I saw this because you should have seen how he came out looking. COVERED in hives and angry welts. It was awful. Very painful. Doctor said it was the hot showers releasing toxins in the skin. What those toxins were- he never found out- but he switched to cool showers and it solved that problem. He didn’t drink or smoke or taken drugs.
Never did figure out what it was, but the steroids he had to take really messed him up during that time.
I have no washing machine. All fkn chinese made machines break to keep repeat customers forever. Enslaved by chyna and all products made in chyna. Off to find another cheaply made washing machine
Oh Klaus AnalSchwab, can i please wash my jeans twice in one month. Oh please masta. Oh please. Fuck these people. They'll all be wind chimes before all this is over with.
once a month is for the jeans made in Japan with this Japanese natural indigo that has antiseptic qualities the samurai used as a base layer in their armor.
typical blue jeans have been talked about by enthusiasts for years you don't need to wash them more than once a week.
if you really want to know where the problem lies with washing your clothes look up info about dryer sheets being harmful to your clothes.
dryer sheets are actually a fine grit sand paper that wear out your clothes in the wash. car and motorcycle enthusiasts use them to get hard to remove road grim and bugs off their bikes and cars including windshields.
stop using dryer sheets, we haven't had worn out or holes in our clothes or socks since we stopped using them 15 years ago.
dryer sheets are actually a fine grit sand paper that wear out your clothes in the wash.
I am fascinated when people repeat obvious bullshit that is so easy to test for themselves, that their lack of testing the bullshit, means I am obviously being presented with a sheep.
Actually taking a cold shower is pretty good advice. It's very good for your circulatory and respiratory systems, and mental toughness. Check out wim hof. If people took cold showers we wouldn't get sick so easily and big pharma would go out of business
I wash mine every 17 days
I have no Jeans, because I own nothing and rent everything. Klaus should know that!
Klaus can wash my rented jeans when I return them.
Exactly!
I wash mine 17 times every 45 minutes.
That sounds pretty threadbare? Better rent a new pair for the Post-Storm party…it’s on the horizon!
The joke's on them. I don't like doing laundry, so I have several pairs of jeans that I wear. I put all of them in the washing machine once every quarter and wash them all at once.
No. Jokes on you. They want you to increase your laundry schedule to 1/month.
I don't own jeans because they're made of cotton and that racisss and shit.
Wait.... You wash Big_Mike_Robinson's jeans every 17 days? ; )
has to get the sulfur smell out somehow kek
Aawww…pretty bow!!
I'm not doubling the frequency of my washing cycle for anyone!
Giggle
I'm gonna start burning my trash lol
I live on 11 acres. I burn my trash regularly.
If this was being relayed as an honest way to help your jeans last longer? Cool, thanks for the tip.
But since its not, and more of a "You filthy poor, stop wasting water!" Ima go ahead and wash them today. Fuck you!
Hah I picture a conveyor belt of jeans and you just swapping them as they come.
It actually is. Washing them more will wear them out faster. Washing them today just to stick it to them only costs you more in the long run.
This is just basic denim care, when you wash you damage. If you want them to last you keep them out of the washer as much as possible
Learned years ago that you can actually freeze them to get odors and whatnot out, a lot of soil will simply chip away.
A new way to confuse and upset my wife. Here I go!
Honey? What do you want for dinner?
opens freezer to find dirty jeans
Personally, I wash my denim but I buy cheap anyway.
Was told years ago that a day in a deep freeze does the trick, might need a hand wash
Basic denim care from the World Economic Forum?
You do you, IDGAF. My point is that this is actual denim care advice.
It's even on the Levi's website
You follow it, you get more time before you gotta buy new.
I DO wash mine and they definitely do fade abs eventually start tearing
lol name checks out
Hah. I'll wash mine every 3rd-4th wear. Definitely washing them once a week or so tho.

Same. All goodwill since like 2011. It's hard to get pants that fit so every few years i do an old navy black Friday sale
We thrift store shop all the time, and I know it's facebook but our town has a rummage sale page, and a giveaway page for people to buy sell or just give stuff away.
I’m same. My ex-wife didn’t like this philosophy either-wink 😜
The quality of new clothing is awful. Very thin. Poor thread quality. Doesn't matter the cost either. Expensive designs are just minimally better than cheap crap from Target.
Every piece of clothing I have worn for the last 10+ years is from thrifting. I wear a lot of expensive clothes that I paid ~$5 for.
Thrift stores in resort areas will often have amazing deals! A friend of mine once bought an ~$175 winter coat for about $25, like new, at a store in Estes Park, CO.
...Or his grandkids
WEF advice doesn't apply to the lackeys of the elite.
I’ve heard/read cold showers can be good for the immune system, is this true or no?
I'd say yes! Googling it or duck duck go. Naturalness probably has something about it too.
Thanks! I thought so, just like more opinions.
Sounds spurious to me.
Wash your genes once a month... With a booster
Get your jeans washed free with every booster!!!
Actually washing denim is what wears that fabric out. In fact, washing causes more damage to your clothes than wearing them. That lint in your dryer is your clothes...The globalists love you paying 8-20 bucks for 50 cents worth of deturgent.
Yeah I've noticed that too. Any idea how to reduce that? I wash things I like by hand - they last a lot longer that way. Know of any better ways?
Nope…you’re batting 1000 already 👍🏽
Wow! Today's my lucky day! I even got a sticky!!! https://greatawakening.win/p/140vaOxXYH/check-it-out--read-the-comments-/
NOICE!!! 💰

just in case you haven't seen it. https://www.wimhofmethod.com/

Showering is for your external layer, not your internal layers.

Sauna every day
Eh. I don't think so.

You, too fren

Thank you Fren!
But according to the WEF, brains can be washed daily.
This is all for the lie called anthropogenic climate change!
In 2006, Australian Professor of Geology,Ian Plimer was asked his opinion on how climate change should be managed.
He told the reporter,"Move the Sun!"
Will that reverse the mRNA changes to my jeans?
i say we come up with some helpful tips for Klaus Schwab to follow
Oh Klaus AnalSchwab, can i please wash my jeans twice in one month. Oh please masta. Oh please. Fuck these people. They'll all be wind chimes before all this is over with.
The people that have figured out how to get idiots to pay $200 + for a pair of jeans have been saying this for years.
I guess they don't want you to wash their very overpriced, marginal quality jeans so they don't start to fall apart.
The marxists/leftists don't wash their clothes ever anyway, so once a month would improve their vile stench.
once a month is for the jeans made in Japan with this Japanese natural indigo that has antiseptic qualities the samurai used as a base layer in their armor.

Falsus in Uno, Falsus in Omnibus.
Both of my sons work in the sewer business - they wash their jeans more often. Lol
Gotta admit, I should probably wash them more often than I do.
nah, just wash them when they are dirty. It's not rocket science.
This place never ceases to amaze me. We now have washing tips for our jeans. 🥰🐸
Shut up you fascist Tories! No one tells me what time to go to bed!
Actually taking a cold shower is pretty good advice. It's very good for your circulatory and respiratory systems, and mental toughness. Check out wim hof. If people took cold showers we wouldn't get sick so easily and big pharma would go out of business
I don’t always take cold showers but have started to do it fairly often. It’s a discipline thing for me.

So don't change what I currently do. Whatevs.
Correction: (((They))) say.
“they say…” i don’t expect a lot from WEF, but at the very least, i expect a little more sauce than “they say”.
Wear smelly jeans, be happy
Well, how are we going to be lowly peasants if we continue washing ourselves???
Those wef guys wear tent material on their bodies? How pedestrian!
