Agree, sadly I have very close family who think this would be a good thing, it it is possible. Said person is public schooled and has zero concept of medical ethics at all. Can't even argue with them.

According to Erica Kahun a microbiologist the aussies have deployed self replicating viral vector sterilization vaccines for both the rabbit and rat populations in Australia a few years back. Proof of concept and efficacy refined to calculatable reduction of population by number of exposures to vaccinated. However by design or natural attenuation it seemed to be only effective for a few generations. I'll go back and try to find the sauce.

It's the one where they immune system of some genetically engineered children was designed to seek out pathogens outside their bodies so it could destroy them before they even had a chance to attack them. Their immune systems end up attacking any non-genetically engineered humans they encounter. That unintended side-effect is where these researchers got their idea from.
It's also ironic that on what was a progressive show at the time, this episode was written as a cautionary tail about genetic engineering and eugenics. There is an element of this concept of "contagious vaccines" already in the Covid 19 vaccine. Perhaps a test. After getting the jabs, a cousin had an instance of shedding to her partner who was not getting vaxxed. Scared him to death the reaction was so bad and he thought he had prostate cancer. Did not, thank God.
