Yes, I did think that too, but some of the things I've seen people here say astound me so much (like not knowing that both the House of Representatives and the Senate have to approve a bill for it to become law - pretty basic stuff. Or not really knowing what the US Constitution is - also pretty basic) - that it made me think it possible some were American. It's a good point though. Thanks.
Have a gander at the Fleccas video from a few days ago. How many states in the US? What year was the US founded? No one can answer the most basic questions. The best part was one of the interviewees was in his cap and gown.

Ten or so years ago, I bought some medicine at the vet. It came to $19.35. I handed the (young) guy a $20 bill. To my absolute astonishment, he pulled out a calculator to figure out how much change to give me. Besides twerking, what exactly are they teaching in schools these days? Plenty of teachers bitterly complain too. They say they’re glorified babysitters for wild animals in short human form. I was taught by nuns that would have made hell’s angels tremble. Everyone knew all the pertinent details of US history, the times tables back and forth up to 144, you name it. What the hell has happened? This is a recipe for disaster, and maybe I just answered my own question.
I've heard of fleccas but not really familiar. I get a sick feeling over things like this though. I saw Mark Dice interview some people in California and the question was, before he was president, what other position did biden hold. Blank stares, embarrassed laughs. I know he probably didn't show the people who did know the answer, but the fact that there were so many who didn't know .... ugh.

Oh, well I'm glad you spoke up so I could tell you. Back at the beginning of the American Revolution, the patriots were watching for the 'red coats' to come. The plan was to warn people of the enemy's approach toward Concord by leaving a lit candle in the window / steeple of the church. The Old North church, which still stands today in Boston, Massachusetts. There would be 1 candle lit if they were coming by land and 2 candles lit if they were coming by sea.

I also think that the candles mean we are about to hear the shot heard round the world. Revere's ride was to alert the colonists that the British were coming for the ammunition stores in Lexington and Concord.
When the colonists were confronted by the red coats, someone shot. That shot became the shot heard round the world because it is largely established that the shot signaled the start of the Revolutionary War.
People often talk about a 2nd Civil War. I am of the line of thinking that if another war of this nature starts, it will be a 2nd Revolutionary War.
If all three branches of government are compromised, the only option left for We The People is to start over.

Given that the colonies were still part of the British Empire, and that the national identity was yet to be builded (founding fathers didn't have the slightest idea if they could win and when, just hope and will to fight), Revere most likely shouted " The Regulars are coming !" in his famous ride.

If anyone ever gets the chance, go walk along the Battle Road (that Revere raced down - until he was stopped!) that is still preserved, and also visit the infamous bridge and museum there. Every time I go I refresh my fading facts. I also like to walk around Boston Commons and envision all of the grazing animals 250 years ago. Colonial and Revolutionary War time period - my favorite history. Now I just wonder what parts of it are really true? 🤔

A single candle can light the flame of many other candles without losing its own flame.
What's interesting is that the first candle has no enclosure but the other 2 candles do (you could potentially view this as protecting the candle, or the candles resistance to being lit up)
