Posting this up here for others reading, seems like other posters have brought up some red flags in this post including the misspellings and plural errors that would not be expected from teacher or a group setting this up. Especially if this is supposed to be started by the FBI, they shouldn’t be posting something with obvious misspellings.
To me "misspellings and plural errors" in the post, are solid proofs it was posted by a teacher!

To be fair, I had some really dumb teachers in school. They are definitely not all masters of the English language.
Also, the bar for grammar, and syntax is at an all time low. Due in part to the increasingly lower standards in education, and the rise of social media texting.
You don’t post this with THAT many errors, teacher or not. This is an obviously fake posting and we ate it up.
Read some stories on CNN's website sometime. I don't think they proofread anything any more.
I read stories across the board (fox, CNN, OAN, RealRaw for some giggles), they might have a misspelling of grammar issues but nothing like that scam go fund me. By far the worst is TGP though, it’s like they don’t even use word.

It sure is. This happened with a bunch of the Sandy Hook fund-raising pages. Whether that's the case here for GoFundMe pages I'm not certain.
Was wondering the same. Fake GofundMe who changes photos, info etc.. after the shooting to prey on donations. Would be nice to know as I never use the site.

The whole page is full of bad grammar and spelling. It reads like a scam email from India. Also $5k of the $7k donation total is from "The Hope Society."
If there's no verification that the gofundme actually belongs to a legit teacher at Robb, this looks like a scam to me. Maybe the scammer sets up some placeholder GFM's and just preys on current events to scam money.
I never thought of this. This happened after Sandy Hook too. Their support page on FB or GFM (if it was in existence then), was get up prior to the shooting; I can’t remember which.

I recall that Google had page cached a page about a shooting at SH , and the cache was dated at a day before the event happened. My normie cousin swears she saw a Facebook page that was fundraising for SH also a day before the event hit the news.

To scam people in the event of something happens that gives virtue signalers an opportunity to say "I stand with the current thing" and donate, (making sure to post on their facebooks that they donated. )
My bet is that the date given is the day the account was made. The person making the account is a scammer who then after the shootings sets up what the money is being raised for. Go Fund Me will eventually take it down. The reason why it lasted this long is that go fund me was only looking for accounts set up after the shooting not ones that predated the shooting.
According to a LEO source in a near City to Uvalde. FBI is looking into fraud gofund me accounts capitalizing on the tragedy. This could well be one of those fraud accounts.

This is what I’m trying to figure out. Only conclusion is they either had prior knowledge?? Or you can simply make a account and re edit the fundraiser to what ever you need it to be. I’m not familiar with gofundme.

It appears that if I make a campaign and don't close or delete it, I can come back and edit it. So I am still not 100% sure but I am going to venture to say this was edited.
I assumed as much, still seems fishy or lazy to use an old fundraiser and just repurpose it... and just unnecessarily adds fuel to the conspiracy... but i appreciate the follow-up!
fraudsters can have dummy gofundme page already setup waiting for the next expoit. Then Tragic Event -> Edit page accordingly, ready to go for donations.
This screenshot doesn't prove anything, if there's a web archive of this page from April 29 SHOWING THESE SAME DETAILS, then you have a case. Otherwise, another waste of time and resources even posting this.

Thanks for pointing it out. I'm learning about the scammers that are there because of the discussions. I don't use GoFundMe, so I didn't know it was that easy to scam. Backs up my initial yuck for the site. More knowledge can help me in talking to others about it later.
Just checked on wayback machine and theres no record of prior archives. So that doesnt help us either way.

But it was created only the month before. That doesn't sound like something that was made way ahead of time "just in case."

Can you create an empty sort of a placeholder gofundme page (which gets a creation date at that time), and then populate it with info and a specific campaign later on?
I've never used the site and wouldn't ever consider ever using it given their history, but that might account for the date in advance of the shooting. Still suspicious, but not as much as a blatant awareness of the event weeks in advance of it happening. Which, if there was any genuine investigation would merit the immediate arrest of Marcia Lopez.
I've used gofundme, you can start filling out the info before launching the campaign but once you launch the campaign it's supposed to be filled.
And when you click on the donations list, of which just 8 ppl donated, all of the big donations were made offline. Just a FYI.

Not surprising at all, these things go up day all the time. A co-worker of mine passed Saturday in a car accident and his brother had the Gofundme setup same day, not particularly difficult.

I agree it's fishy, but a lot of teachers are actually pretty dumb. We are a long way from every teacher having great, or even good, English grammar.
Read some stories on CNN. No one uses proofreaders. These younger people are using cellphones to type and their texts are almost always full of typos. They type as fast as they can and then post before reading it over.

This is curious. If it’s possible to edit the date, it’s also possible for black hats to edit it to make it after the event occurred. Either they are trolling us, they are incredibly stupid, or this is just more in the white hat wake-up operation that this whole thing appears to be.
