I'm not joking--that's what happened to the few people that have managed to convert a car into a plane.
I'm not saying, "Take that, Putin!," but I've started taking Navy showers myself to combat our water bill, which more than doubled at the start of 2022.
I've managed to bring the bill down to nearly 2020 levels, with no other changes required in our household.
For those who don't know what a Navy shower is-
Wet yourself completely, turn off the water, and soap up.
Turn water back on, and rinse off your face. Turn off water again and shampoo. (Optional step but I'm less likely to get soap in my eyes while shampooing if I do this.)
Turn on water again. Rinse off completely.
I also installed expensive high efficiency showerheads when I first moved in to our current home. They're intended for resort and spa use but only use 1.5 GPM. They are not adjustable but the pressure is perfect for me.

I actually take cold showers because I practice the Wim Hof method you should all check it out between his breathing exercises and cold exposure it cured my depression and anxiety and gave me momentum in life,but fuck these lefties seriously
A few years ago I learned about benefits of cold showers which made sense because as a kid I remember going to the underground springs where the water felt ice cold and it was so refreshing. Now as a 43 old year adult living in FL, I have unlimited water especially since it's well water but I haven't taken a hot shower in years but I don't care for ice cold showers though, instead more like a little cooler than luke warm. As far as OP's post goes though, if some people in Europe wants to choose cold showers because of Putin then there's not much to say about that lol.

The fact that I prefer cool or barely warm showers could be partly due to living in south FL but there is plenty of studies done that say cold or cool showers are better on the body than hot showers.

Also: there is something to soaking in hot water - it raises your core body temperature just enough to combat illness. Like a form of hydrotherapy! I only ever take baths and I never get sick, even when everyone else in the house is ill.

Lived in Europe (Germany) for awhile with a gf 10 years ago. They're so cucked even then. Turn on water, get wet, turn off water. Lather up, turn water on for quick rinse off. Body heat, not external heat. Humans are warm-blooded and stabilize heat based on external conditions. This is why athletes take ice baths after performance to promote faster healing because they need to be able to do this again in a few days.
