No tranny's or fake diversity. WONDERFUL !!!! The Ladies are HOT 😋😘🥰😎
No purple hair chicks with dicks or men with tits.
Body modifications and piercings.
Ya those devil horn implants with 50 different tattoos on the face are huge turn ons lol.
No but that chest muff was disturbing.
Testosterone. I’m proud of my muff.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but men have hair on their chests.
I saw a guy at public pool the other day who looked like a werewolf. Hair all over his back and chest lol
Lies. I wasn't at the pool!
Lol
What?
Chest hair is nice!
Back hair is not.
Marxism and technology have been a deadly duo for Western civilization. Technology could have been a useful tool for us, but instead, it brought us laziness, obesity, narcissism, pornography, and degeneracy. Thanks, overlords.
That’s right. I do not see real guys like in the 1980’s anymore. If you find them they are all married That is why I am single. If you go online then you will find mental sick or depraved people.
Like any rapid, transformative event, there is always a "wild west" period. We are in that wild west period for most of our technologies, especially in the way they all interact and effect our lives. We will wizen up, and figure out how to regulate it, just like we cleaned up the real "wild west" and developed the land. The goal is to make sure we regulate it in a way where we are still free to use it to the best of its ability, and not slaves, plugging away at baby's first terminal while the elites get all the real toys.
What has ((happened))?
Short answer --- smart phones.
Incorrect. Hart-Celler happened
Braceros. I remember many migrants did not go home after the tent towns and shanties were broken down. The subject of many discussions by the men at the general store.
Yes. I blame the Internet and Smart Phones for it all... and lazy, uncaring parentals.
I have a different opinion regarding parentals. I think they were too indulgent and overbearing.
Indulgent means leinient.
Overbearing means domineering.
Not sure how you could have both, as they seem to be opposites?
Indulgent by letting their kids get what they want…not letting them get “disappointed” or “sad”
Overbearing as in helicopter mom…taking care of their kids battles and struggles for them
Gotcha! Makes sense.
The woke agenda.
the illuminati happened
The Comms from this time period are actually 1000x darker than the ones being sent nowadays (2019+).
You had McMartin Preschool sex abuse trial in 1983. You had the Finders going on. You had pedo Clowns congregating in Radio Shacks. You had racial division being stoked. You had the height of inner city crime/drugs.
You had a far more unawoken populace than we are today.
Mad MK sexuality in this ad.
Granted, we like to say Yee Haw USA! But this Juicy Fruit ad is far from healthy.
Well, they don't need to show them disrobing.
It's the act of taking off the top that is suggestive; not the fact of being dressed for a swim.
I see mid-80s American teenagers going to the lake to hang out and ski for the day.
Grant me your wisdom - what am I missing?
Not even taking selfies .... OMG 😉
It's amazing that vapid hoes used to be able to live without them. Maybe because cameras took much more effort and cost back then.
It cost as much to develop film as a gallon of gas costs today. Kek.
Yep, nothing makes me more sad really then looking at old 80s commercials and seeing how fucking far this country has fallen.
Because '80s advertising was such an accurate portrayal of American life?
Advertising has always been about suckering people into buying things, and the driving force in shifts to their strategies has are about more efficiently getting the most money out of the most people.
Maybe lake trips with hot model types wasn't doing that as well as today's ads?
It is a catchy jingle though.
Because their target audience was heterosexuals and they didn't promote obesity and "body acceptance."
It's gotten worse, more blatant, explicit and unGodly for sure, but we were, and have always been attacked by unhealthy advertising. IMO, this ad is far less innocuous than is being realized in this thread.
It was great then.
Wait! Why isn't every single person ethnically ambiguous like every commercial today?! Why isn't the token straight white guy made to look like a fool?? I am offended!!!! This gum is racist!!!!
And this is what it looks like now you WHITE SUPREMISIST!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1j90YGESYQ
Everything you wouldn't see....what a fucking mess
Remember this like it was yesterday...still remember all the words though I haven't thought about it in 20 years. Good marketing
I liked the doublemint gum commericals. Double your pleasure, double your fun!
Same!
I bet you smelled it also!
Because they saturated TV with this ad 24/7.
Notice how you can remember all of the lyrics to the songs you heard in 5th grade....But none of the subject matter taught?
shame that all Wrigley's gum contains artificial sweeteners.
And runs out of flavor in three chews
True....And JF makes your teeth hurt.
Yes, but how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?
Dang that was creepy.
[My name is] Bob and I get confused by all the claims made in commercials.
Tharee.
The sex was implied, not explicit like so much today. Normal boy/girl imaging. Today it's nothing but pairings of ever race, color, creed, gender, queer, you name it. Next it will be the pedo stuff in Bidens laptop, humans with animals, just wacko sick shit unless it's stopped.
Chewing gum commercials were the best man. How the fuck was chewing gum such big business? There was constantly 'Big Red' and 'Juicy Fruit' commercials, billboards, full page magazine ads, everything....and I miss it all so much.
Holy crap, i was able to sing along and I remember that commercial like it was yesterday. Great find!!
same, what a flashback! I miss the 80s and 90s.
It's been years and years, but I still remember that jingle.
Those were the days.
Baywatch!
Woke up in front of the tv really late and Baywatch was on. Miss those days.
Now every commercial I see is 99.9% black. Even if it's just a hand or a voice, it's all black centric. Only time I see whites is when they're displayed as dumb or gross or inept. Go figure.
I really miss the 80s.
Those were the days!
Lol you're right, giggling at choice of Juicy Fruit commercial as example 🤣
I'm always taken back by the Friday the 13th youth...
Wow, I remember that commercial!
I don't get it. They weren't wearing masks. How come they're not all dead?
I like when women put things in their mouth
Can’t believe no one wrote: Look at that big juicy fruity booty
The jingle lyrics, "take a sniff, pull it out," perfectly describes every other thought in Joe Bidet's dessicated brain. 😲
Here was the 59 second version they would play at the start of ad campaigns back in the 1980s. A few weeks later, they would move to the 30 second spots and finally to the 10 second spots the last week of their campaign.

I used to watch these ad campaigns on satellite TV weeks in advance before they started. The networks didn't scramble the signal at the time, so you could see entire advertising campaigns which were recorded by the local TV stations. Learned a lot about marketing before I even entered high school or read any Edward Bernays. Kek.
This isn't globohomo compliant. Reported to the ADL. lol
I was busy raising my kid during the 80's but yeah. Things were different there. I could do without the ladies big teased up hair though.
I remember that commercial from when I was a kid. Thanks for the nostalgia OP.
Holy blast from the past - I literally haven't seen that in like 20 years but here I am singing along lol
They are models picked for a commercial.
LOL. No. The 1980s was a nasty, filthy time in American history.
