Since this does not affect 600,000 brought or wandered in illegally, I propose several things: 1) Denial of full U.S. citizenship ever, 2) Immediate removal if tried and convicted of any felony, 3) Denial of holding any governmental position, law license.

Adding to your list: The following should apply to every person, regardless of age, who enters the US illegally:

-- Deportation; no exceptions (there are legal entry places for those seeking asylum)

-- No limitations on deportations, regardless of how long they've been in the US.

-- Round 'em up and send them back; use all resources available, including militias.

-- No auto-citizenship for their kids born here; Congress must "fix" the high jacking and misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment.

-- No taxpayer benefits... ZERO.

-- Enforce current laws and increase punishment for violations.

-- Finish the wall, beginning NOW.

Think this is too expensive and/or will take too long??

--The taxpayers have spent multi-trillions of dollars on ILLEGALS, even before Biden opened the border.

-- Over 80% of the +/- 30 million ILLEGALS already living here receive government assistance (i.e., forced taxpayer support).

--This doesn't account for CRIME, which is massive, costly, and horrific.

The problem of ILLEGAL Immigration will never end until ALL incentives are removed, and ALL laws are enforced.

The safety, security, and rights of Americans must come FIRST.

That's reasonable, if course. If your parent squat in a house for when you're a year old and stay there for 15 years before getting evicted, you don't get to stay there because your parents broke the law.

But that kid shouldn't be charged with a crime either. His parents broke the law, not him.

I guess I see both sides on this issue. This is the only nation they know. If they are productive abs law abiding, I see no problem with a reasonable path to stay legally, or even obtain citizenship.

Likewise, there should be a reasonable path to send the bad ones back.

Just my 2 cents.

How about, if you bring a minor into the country illegally? You get deported and you forfeit your parental and familial rights. The kids stays and gets adopted out. But you can't come see them and they can't bring you over. Kid gets citizenship after adoption. If the illegals value what this country has to offer, it's a small price to pay to have your child raised in the land of opportunity.

The supreme court (I assume that's what SC is) DOES NOT MAKE LAWS. Their rulings are manure. This "ruling" is obviously contrary to the Constitution and is therefore null and void, like almost everything that comes from CONgress, SCOTUS, and state legislatures. Their job is to always be in agreement with the Constitution.

  1. Denial of full U.S. citizenship ever

Why

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 17 ▼
– GreenEyesOfTexas 17 points 3 years ago +17 / -0

The point is to stop all incentives or "rewards" for illegally entering the US. There are legal ways to apply for asylum, green cards, work visas, and US citizenship. No one is against legal immigration.

People entering illegally have already committed crimes--violating both state and federal laws. Without significant consequences, this will continue.

I am not dumb enough to want to take away jobs and opportunities from Americans born here. America was founded by WASPs and demographics are destiny, culture and identity matter. My home town has been completely transformed by Pakistani’s, East Indians and Chinese. They come here, don’t assimilate, drive up the cost of housing for Americans and take away American jobs.

If I was a liberal I would be an idiot and vote against my own interests which is what mass immigration is. I never said the world is over populated just that they can make their own countries great again. America cannot be the world’s welfare and policman anymore.

And if you want to call me a prick it really just shows how ignorant you are. The founding fathers never intended America to be a place for mass immigration and for America to be a populated by people of European ancestry. So if you want to call me a prick George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Hancock etc are all pricks.

Some of these people's reward is simply being with their family. 600k people get through the border every 4-6 months. Just to put into perspective Trump offered residency to 1.2m for the wall that got built and is being built.

600k DACA =

No other crimes

Brought as Children

Paid $600 a year extra to the government

Some entered legally

Speak English

Banned for life automatically will not deter the 100k/month that don't even qualify.

Doesn't have to be easy, just possible. Some tried becoming marines after high school, and could not. Nothing is ever guaranteed, better a slim chance than no chance.

If no other crimes in their life, then it's safe to say they would not have broken the law in this case either.

So many people simply commit marriage fraud and are scott free. The system doesn't work for anyone except beneficiaries of a slave class without rights, and criminals, but I repeat myself.

I know DACA who showed up to Jan6 and many "patriots" that didn't. Some people where just born in a tough situation and are simply trying to make the best of it.

(real answer)

Lol... No, I'm not 'good' with it. But I'm not okay with charging kids for the crimes of their relatives either.

If dad robs a bank, and his 11 month old daughter was in a car seat in the getaway vehicle, you shouldn't subsequently charge that gal as an accessory to the crime once she turns 18. That would be idiotic. Nor would it make sense to charge the gal with receiving stolen property. Now, a arguing said gal benefited financially (though unintentionally) from dad's crime? Probably have some grounds to file lawsuits in that regard.

If you found out YOU weren't actually a citizen (your parents are actually from Canada and have been here illegally and have lied to you since birth) would you be okay renouncing YOUR citizenship and being deported to Canada? Or, would you want to somehow, someway, become a citizen of the country to which you thought you belonged? Maybe you wouldn't, I dunno. Maybe you would move to Canada and shift your patriotism from the red white and blue to the maple leaf. Me, I'd rather be here.

I love (what's left of) this country, I was born here, raised here, and plan to die here. I've been to other countries, and I'm always relieved to return home. For someone who has only known the USA from their earliest experience, I can't fault them for the strong desire to be a part of America. I interact with many DACA recipients I interact with at the 'day job', and a solid majority are redpilled and based AF. Sure, there are always exceptions. But they shouldn't be held at fault for the crimes of the parents. Just because as patriots we may be used to being labeled 'guilty by association' doesn't mean we need to stoop the levels of our enemies. Punishing a person for the crimes of their family is something that happens in the DPRK and communist countries. It should never happen here. I like to think we're better than that.

I'm sure my solution to the problem isn't ideal, but what we have now obviously isn't working. Ultimately, secure borders would solve the problem before its a problem.

We either have laws or we don't. They are enforced or .....why bother? Either breaking our laws is a "thing" or it isn't. SOME illegals are not better than others. Sorry, but I know people who have been struggling, bleeding out money to support these illegals. They even have lost their homes because they could not keep up with the unconstitutional taxation. I really have no sympathy for those who have leeched on the American people for a very long time. It's long past time to put America and OUR people first.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– kish-kumen 1 point 3 years ago +1 / -0

I concur. Luckily, our system of justice and law - while ideally blind - is not without reason and common sense, and allows for mitigating (and aggravating) circumstances. So while a daca recipient is here illegally, the fact they are not here of their own volition is certainly a mitigating circumstance, and likely an affirmative defense.

If I kidnap someone and take them to a military base without authorization, we are both in violation of the law. The person I kidnapped shouldn't be charged, and if they are, the fact I kidnapped them provides both a mitigating circumstance and an affirmative defense.

True, the person couldn't then live on base, lol. But it shouldn't keep them out of the military.

Not as good as it seems.

First, it is not SCOTUS, so it could be appealed.

Second, it is not the full 5th Circuit, only a 3-judge panel, so it could be re-heard and changed.

Third, they said what Obama did was illegal, but they bascially let the damage already done stand. This is NOT acceptable.

Fourth, the said Biden can't do it again, but so what?

Fifth, Congress will now try to do it with legislation.

The court SHOULD have said it was illegal and that is THAT. But instead, they said those DACA people could stay.

No. Illegal is illegal.

She's highly skilled and working on becoming a citizen. I don't think we should boot them out, but work with the good ones to keep them in the USA and help them to become citizens. – GreenEyesOfTexas 1 point 3 years ago +1 / -0

@Pristine, I understand your point, but where does it stop?? I had prepared a response to a previous post, but will post it here since the topic is similar (the support of DACA).

(Responding to earlier post by S_N_A_K_E)

"Trump offered residency to 1.2m for the wall that got built and is being built."

--Trump had to make a deal to even get the wall started; Dems & Rinos were blocking it.

--The border wall did not get finished and is not being built by the government.

--Biden stopped the construction of the border wall, costing taxpayers billions for the cancelled contracts.

--He recently allowed building to start for some wall sections in Arizona… only to try and save Mark Kelly's ass in his Senate run. If Kelly loses, I predict the building will stop.

--Biden does not want a border wall; he only wants a wall around his home and the borders of a few select countries… all at US taxpayer expense—FACT.

"600k DACA = No other crimes"

--There have been many crimes committed by DACA immigrants, including murder & rape. Without looking it up, I don't know the stats on arrests vs. convictions.

-- Regardless, had they not been here illegally, that crime number would be ZERO.

(As for crime, I won't take up your thread with detailed crime info; I may create a new post. However, for perspective, an article from the Heritage Foundation stated, “There are 1,245 Texans who would likely still be alive today if we were securing our border and vigorously enforcing our immigration laws.” (This only reflects a 10-year reporting period, and only Texas, ending in June-2021).

"Brought as Children"

--Okay, the blame belongs to their parents, who chose to come here illegally.

--This does not justify forcing US taxpayers to support them.

"Paid $600 a year extra to the government"

--Extra to what?? Over 80% of illegals here are being supported by taxpayers.

"Some entered legally"

--Only if they came through the legal entrances and were granted asylum; not crossing the border illegally.

--If they "legitimately" came here legally, this convo does not apply.

"Speak English"

--I'm sure many have learned English.

--This does justify allowing Illegals to remain in the US,

--This does not offset the cost to taxpayers, who must provide bilingual teachers for ALL illegal students who don't speak English... and btw, Biden's new friends are coming here from 150+ countries.

"Banned for life automatically will not deter the 100k/month that don't even qualify."

--Stopping all incentives and enforcing all laws will result in deterrence.

Illegal immigration has gotten out of control, to a point of catastrophic, due to spineless and/or corrupt politicians (on both sides), who have treated it like a hot potato over the past 50+ years.

This must stop; not only is it unsustainable, but it is also an atrocious and unfair burden forced on Americans, especially taxpayers.

Again, Pristine and S_N_A_K_E, I get what you're saying. And perhaps there could be very stringent, individual exceptions (but only to this past situation and not going forward as policy).

There should not be a sweeping allowance of all DACA.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– Pristine 1 point 3 years ago +1 / -0

I agree.. DACA is bad. However, legislatures should work with those that could truly be productive citizens. This lady I know is no moocher, I can tell you that - brought here as an infant. I believe individuals like these should be given priority for processing and fast tracked to citizenship. Anyway, these are issues that are beyond my control. I truly hate to see good people caught up in a crummy system.

My opinion is DACA and the illegal immigration is only a symptom and not the root cause of issues between the US and Mexican border. The problem is clearly economical. The problem is clearly our evil politicians who set it up that way. The symptom is not a flaw, it's a feature for them.

For decades, US deep state politicians have been hurting both the Mexican and American people through the drug cartels. In the process, the Mexican economy and society was destroyed - and damaging our society greatly as well. Both Mexico and the US are victims of the deep state cartel.

I think Trump was on track to help Mexico become great. MMG (Make Mexico Great). This is what TRULY needs to happen to end the issue. Instead, our deep state WANTS a third world nation on our border, and the result is the mass migration to the US. This is what our oligarchs want to happen. There is simply no way for the good people of Mexico to rise up and fix their country. To travel through the nation of Mexico, you have to pay the cartel for safe passage. And to be honest, if I were in their shoes, I'd do the exact same thing.

It's easy for us to sit here and say these people (DACA) should go back to their own shit-hole country. But it's really the globohomos that destroyed their nation. I'd flee from that cartel infested shit-hole country as well. There will be no reforming it until the US drug problem is eliminated and the deep state loses its grip on the US and Mexico's throat. Everybody else on both sides of the border are just pawns in their sick game.

Supreme court ruling? Is "federal appeals court" synonymous with the supreme court, or am I going crazy?

I had to re-read that too. I guess the OP had to put a correction tag on the post?

Here’s another patriots in control. This is a really big wow. Even with the Q stuff, I wouldn’t have expected this. Amazing….if it was the SC. A federal appeals court ruling is pretty powerful though.

Title seems a bit misleading as it was the Federal Appeals Court which made the ruling not the US Supreme Court.

Re-entry after deportation should be a capital offense.

From the article:

That said, the appeals panel did rule that the program could remain in force for the roughly 600,000 so-called “Dreamers” who have already obtained the status.

Looks like Obama might have been successful in providing amnesty to 600,000.

Repeal Hart Cellar. Need to keep white people the majority or this country will just devolve into some third world outpost.

You want to live in Brazil or South Africa? Go there, don't bring that shit here.

As others pointed out, wasn't SCOTUS.

As for DACA, it is unconstitutional. The law requires prosecution and deportation. However, POTUS does have pardon powers. I'm not one for punishing people for the sins of their fathers, e.g. kids who were trafficked here by adults (including their own parents). Yet, they are nevertheless citizens of other nations, and this includes "anchor babies" who contrary to what SCOTUS once wrongly declared, are NOT natural born citizens.

Secure the border, shut off the leaking pipes.

Then clean up the water damage. 1 time amnesty (POTUS mass pardon) for those who voluntarily turn themselves in and who've not committed additional major crimes. Probationary green cards, as part of a restitution program (pay off "debt" incurred over the time spent living in the country illegally). Upon completion, allow for opportunity to receive citizenship.

Humane. Restorative justice. And with a secure border, no risk of incentivizing would-be illegal border crossing (or visa overstays)
