According to David Spiegel MD, professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Stanford University an estimate of 25 % of people cannot be easily hypnotized. I would personally take a median number of 20% who cannot be hypnotized. Based on the 80:20 ratio of unawake versus awake people, let's check out the number of awake people in western countries:

  1. USA 331,002,651 Awake 66,200,530
  2. JAPAN 126,476,461 Awake 25,295,292
  3. GERMANY 83,783,942 Awake 16,756,788
  4. UNITED KINGDOM 67,886,011 Awake 13,577,202
  5. FRANCE 65,273,511 Awake 13,054,702
  6. ITALY 60,461,826 Awake 12,092,365
  7. SOUTH KOREA 51,269,185 Awake 10,253,837
  8. SPAIN 46,754,778 Awake 9,350,955
  9. CANADA 37,742,154 Awake 7,548,430
  10. AUSTRALIA 25,499,884 Awake 5,099,976
  11. NETHERLANDS 17,134,872 Awake 3,426,974
  12. BELGIUM 11,589,623 Awake 2,317,924
  13. CZECH REPUBLIC 10,708,981
    Awake 2,141,796
  14. GREECE 10,423,054 Awake 2,084,610
  15. PORTUGAL 10,196,709 Awake 2,039,341a@pl
  16. SWEDEN 10,099,265 Awake 2,019,853
  17. AUSTRIA 9,006,398 Awake 1,801,279
  18. DENMARK 5,792,202 Awake 1,158,440
  19. FINLAND 5,540,720 Awake 1,108,144
  20. NORWAY 5,421,241 Awake 1,084,248
  21. IRELAND 4,937,786 Awake 987,557
  22. NEW ZEALAND 4,822,233 Awake 964,446
  23. CYPRUS 1,207,359 Awake 241,471
  24. LUXEMBOURG 625,978 Awake 125,195
  25. MALTA 441,543 Awake 88,308

There are approximately 197 millions awake people in the western sphere. This is a huge number that make a big difference within the society and can change drastically the dire situation the whole world is living in. We are talking here only about the western world, the so-called civilized world. I want the people of the whole world to keep in mind they are not alone, we are many many people Awake of this war against humanity. Hold tight, we are in a tunnel and it's dark, the light is very near. We will for sure win this dirty war.

Please share this message far and wide to raise the spirit of the desperate.

Just look at the election? Trump got between 80-100 Million legit votes IMO. That’s between 24%-30% of the U.S. population right there. Of course, many are elderly and not all Awake. However, Joe got smoked and the rest didn’t/couldn’t vote. Quite an Army we have?

Kids can fact-check you mid sentence.

But they are trained to look for easy answers from trusted sources.

Being awake is almost like being jaded about everything.

There's a problem with the premise.

Being awake, knowing what is going on in the world, has nothing to do with whether or not one can be hypnotized.

I'd hesitate to call the 20% awake or aware.

Who knows? They might be the least aware. Plenty of people think they can't be hypnotized, but the camera proves them wrong.

Depends how you define "awake". These days many Rs and even plenty of former Ds comprehend SOME truths but don't necessarily know about the Plan, the Cabal, the scope of the corrupt power structure, the Satanism, the child sex trafficking, and so on. They know enough to oppose the Swamp and the "elite" of the D party .... and that is a good start. They don't implicitly trust the TV anymore, and that's a GREAT thing.

Next is nobody is immune to hypnosis no matter what they may believe.

I am, most definitely. It's an objective reality of which I have first-hand direct experience, rather than mere "belief." Some people are immune to hypnosis, no matter what others may believe. :) Sorry to be the outlier, but facts are facts.

I've tried it a number of times, had a couple annoying habits I really wanted to break. Just could not get anywhere NEAR being "under". They all gave up.

It's OK, I prefer being in complete control of my mind at all times, thanks

I think i know what you mean.

Your brain prefers YOU to be driving the car, not sitting in the passenger seat,

while some 14 year old with a learners permit, is driving and making you nervous.

Metaphorically speaking.

There is something about “being in control” of your faculties at all times,

But there is also something about “letting go” and “losing control”.

Like, if you are hyper-aware of the problems in the world, it will eventually stress you tf out,

But if you are able to escape for a while, it can help with your stress level, and overall health.

I think this is one reason people drink alcohol, smoke weed, play video games,

After a while, “alternate reality” becomes the place where people prefer to be.

Depends on how you define hypnosis.

And you do not have to be "under."

Not trying to be rude here but let me pose this question: what makes you think you are in complete control of your mind...ever?

You don't have to answer -- this is not a debate.

Something to ponder.

Something for everyone to ponder.

Been to several theatrical hypnotists - I was never the one who had to 'come up to the stage if your hands won't unlock' after the audience all tried willing their hands to lock on the hypnotist's command. All those people who went up on the stage are the same people wearing masks, getting jabbed, sucking on the MSM teat etc...

Yeah, did the stage hypnosis thing at a comedy club in the Air Force when I was 18. Everyone else was doing whatever they're told, clucking like chickens, barking like dogs and doing weird energetic dances, then the guy snaps his fingers and says how do you feel, they go "Why am I so TIRED?" I just sat there laughing. Remembered the whole thing, too, which he hypnotized the other dozen people to forget.

In college I participated in a psychology experiment being conducted by a mate who was majoring in it. He told me it was a “memory test.”

They show you hundreds of images/words, then another batch asking if you remember seeing these in the previous batch. I asked how I scored.

He told me the test was really about “false memories” — they were looking to see if they could induce [false] recall of images/words never shown.

He said my results were “unusual”; in his testing of hundreds of subjects, apparently I was the only one who did not recall a single ‘false’ image. An outlier.

At the time I attributed it to my pre-college life as a paramedic. I was well trained to be certain of my observations and measurements. If you can’t verify your assessment, you don’t guess. Ever.

I've always been warned against being hypnotized. It seemed to be somewhat of a fad back in the day. Anyway, I was told it was dangerous because you are subduing the "guard dogs" of your subconscious/conscience mind. That belongs to God. By being hypnotized, you allow satan access to these very personal places.

What am I looking at/for? I just see random pattern graphics. Nothing moving or no special images.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 15 ▼
– Vapourface 15 points 3 years ago +15 / -0

What they are is a regular pattern, but, the pattern is applied to a shape with a slight offset. So once the brain resolves the regular pattern, it can spot that the pattern is broken along the outline of the shape that is also covered in the same repeating pattern. The amount of offset to the break in the pattern is then understood as the shape, which appears to "stand off" from the background.

A simplified version would illustrate this clearly - if I wrapped square card in checkerboard patterned plastic wrap and held it up against a background of the same checker pattern, if I lined it up just right, you would not see the card, but if I moved it out of alignment you would begin to perceive the card is a separate object. This is all these pictures are, except the pattern is more difficult to detect, it looks like a random pattern but it is really a regular pattern that takes a while to process, but once your brain does process the pattern the object becomes obvious. You can then imagine that a 3D object would distort the pattern further which your brain could also interpret to give depth to the object.

So to "see" the object you have to give your brain time to spot the repeating pattern, the best way to do that is to look around the outer parts of the image carefully, the process is unconscious, so you will feel like nothing is happening, but you have to maintain focus on examining the pattern until it just happens and out pops the image once your brain does the work. It often takes patience and focus.

Hypnosis is similar, although I do not trust any stage hypnotist enough to voluntarily silence my inner analyst and follow instructions without question, they are slightly different modalities when there is a third party.

These used to be in the Sunday comics when we were younger.

They were approximately 8 inches wide and 4" tall. You put your nose close to the paper looking straight ahead, and as you slowly back your head away from the random mosaic, a 3D image suddenly pops into your eyes / head. 🤷‍♂️

As hard as I tried, they never worked for me.

You must make the image large on your computer monitor. Then you cross your eyes until two similar parts of the image coincide. Then allow your eyes to focus while still keeping them crossed. This will easily allow you to see something, although the depth will be reversed. In other words, the one I looked at to check out looked like a flat area of colored stars with areas cut out and sunk in. They are usually fairly simple shapes. You're not going to see a photograph of something else.

I learned to see those many years before they were popular. There were some similar images, though in black and white, in Scientific American back in the 70s. Regular stereo photo image pairs were called stereograms. Scientific American had pairs of images that looked like random dots, but if you crossed your eyes and allowed them to focus away from the plane of the paper, you could see an image. They were called "stare-e-o-grams" because you had to stare at them. The Magic Eye images are a variation of that technique where the two images are put together into one, with an overall colorful image hiding the interferences. I'm not sure if you can understand it without seeing the examples I saw years ago.

I don’t understand how someone can become hypnotized enough to not recall being told to do something and then doing it. I have not been hypnotized. My MIL was a hypnotist and she couldn’t get me to go under. I was comfortable with her and everything I didn’t understand why I wasn’t going into a different state? I left the experience feeling like anyone who claims to be hypnotized is just over-exaggerating or lying and it is pseudoscience. Even worst my impression of hypnosis has categorized it in the same spot with palm readers and tarot card fortune tellers 🤷🏼‍♀️ So is there more to this than I understand? Really?

I spoke with a friend that is a psychologist. I had asked month ago that it seemed like people were hypnotized in some way. Example being many of the vaxxed people I talked to said this particular phrase when asked why they got the vaccine they would say "I trust the science". You would ask them to give you a scientific fact about why they would not be able to and parrot back to you that they trust the science. I find that odd when no one can give specifics. Which made me ask the question how many people of the worlds population could be hypnotized. My friend said about 25% of the population could not be hypnotized. After hearing that the Amish when asked if Covid had affected them the response was no we don't watch TV. A lot of the world does watch TV. So I came across this guy Darren Brown on youtube who demonstrated subliminal messaging and what appeared to be mass hypnosis of a large crowd of people in a public mall. A lot of people ended up raising a hand and not knowing why they did after being subjected to 30 minutes of the subliminal messaging. It pretty much sums up what we see with the world blindly going for this vaccine. What I would like to know is how do you break the hyponosis?

People underestimate the power of television in the delivery of mass hypnosis. The best way to break away from the clutches of hypnosis is to ditch the TV.

I think it boils down to if one is able to exercise 'Free Thought', or not.

Ie; as you said, awake vs asleep.

Funny how they talked about it 2000 years ago in the Bible. Same verbiage and all.

Well, sometimes it's referred to as the 'dead' and the 'resurrection from the dead', but mostly it's stated as asleep vs awake, or drunken vs sober, or night vs day.

Very excellent point! We are all certainly a part of that 20-ish %. I must say though, that graphic is kinda neat, lmao. A shame that real world hypnosis is done by much uglier things and for much more wicked purposes than a smiling cartoon dog will cool swirly eyes

If you trust MSM and rely on them for your news you are clearly hypnotized. Unfortunately too many people grew up trusting MSM and believe them to be reporting facts. Radio and TV news is designed to engineer society with it’s propaganda. It is much more dangerous than the written word. They use crowd manipulation techniques in their delivery on these ‘news’ programs. When you read your news rather than hear or see it you bypass a major conduit for mass hypnosis. When you don’t listen to radio or TV but are randomly exposed to it now and then it is so much easier to recognize the mass hypnosis techniques being employed by them.

Do you know of an Author by the name of Milton William Cooper? He authored, "Behold a Pale Horse". He was shot to death by police on Nov. 5, 2001. The reason that I am asking is that the author you are mentioning has the exact same name and has written books on Empaths and Secret Societies. Could they be related? What are the odds that both men write about similar subjects?

I went into a bar once in "Zona Guiri" in Benidorm and they had a stage hypnotist. I had never seen this sort of thing before. He was looking for suggestible audience members and was making people follow his actions. He put his hands together and said put your hands together. Touched his left elbow then said touch your left elbow. That sort of thing.

Then he started with weirdness. "Touch your chin", while at the same time touching his nose. I guess he was looking for people who either did or didn't touch their chins.

I didn't see any more of the hypnotist show because my mate suddenly noticed the bar next door was starting a live sex show lol.

Hypnosis is one of the natural states of the human mind. It is induced by the hypnotic lead. All the hype and TV and Hollywood mumble jumbo is just to throw you off track as to what it really is. BRB, gotta go to McDonalds.
