The information that I am about to share with you is extremely alarming

received an email from a farming insider

...share the information...as long as I kept his name out of it.

According to this farming insider

the stage is being set for the sort of historic global crisis

And having faith also requires everyone to use their God given brain. I like zerohedge and read it weekly but everyone's antennas should got up when they put out an unsourced hearsay "warning" like this one. At the very least it should spur research into actual farming industry sources and perhaps even reaching out to any actual farmers. Everything in the article may be true but we are also in an information war so all info like this should be suspect until verified.

The USA & Canada are in the top group of fertilizer exporters. We export well beyond our own need. If food shortages appear likely from fertilizer deficit do you think those exports would continue?

Sure, since the architects of all this chaos would probably lean toward more revenue for themselves while FUBARing everything up for everybody.

They'd likely sell the entire world's supply of food to the Martians if they could.

Oh, there's money involved but much closer to home. Always ask "Who benefits?". Answer: Everyone in the industrial farming industry from the actual growers to the users of their produce because they all get to raise prices whether there is an actual or hyped shortage. But now when you see another price hike in the supermarket you have something tangible to attach that increase to beyond nebulous "inflation" or "supply chain". The flipside is who doesn't benefit beside the end consumer? Small farmers who would have a tough time bearing fertilizer cost increases should they occur.

Right, how long have we been hearing about a massive food shortage now? Like 2 years?

For some reason all types of media love trotting out these stories every week. I'm not quite sure what the entire purpose is. There has to be more to it than just fearporn clicks. "A meteor may strike next week" "a solar flare my wipe out all electronics next week" "food might be GONE from the shelves next month" "Iranian hackers may bring down the system next Friday" "sharks might grow legs via evolution and assault Americans in the streets by as early as next Thursday"

I have been feeling the same push for a while now. I like the convenience of being in the city, but the 40 acres we just purchased just feels like exactly where we need to be! Somehow God allowed us to make the purchase even though we already had a rental property and a primary residence. We are about to sell the rental for quite a bit more than we ever expected, and the primary residence will be gone when my youngest graduates High School in a couple years. God never ceases to amaze me, especially when I look back to where I was just 10 years ago.

As an individual, I planted vegetable seeds and morning glory seeds five days ago. ( I spent $10 on the seeds and another $11 on the soil, and there are seeds and soul left over for future use.) They are on a tray table by my breakfast nook window. Already, the morning glories have sprouted and are reaching upward toward the sunshine in the window. The lettuce and spinach have too, and the snow peas.

I told the seeds when I planted them to "germinate and grow" and to glorify God by being what God created them to be. I prayed that God would bless the seeds planted to grow according to his will.

As I moisten the seedlings daily I talk to them and praise God with them for their growth.

The morning glories were the first.

Seeds of FREEDOM have been planted too.

Y'all can warn about the corporate food shortages and inflation worries.

As for me and my house, we will praise God for all he provides.

Morning glories are awesome! I planted some in our front yard almost 20 years ago, and they grew up a trellis each year. The flowers went to seeds, and those seeds then become each year's new crop. What was amazing is that it seemed that each year the flowers were even more brilliant! The flowers almost looked fluorescent!

Fun fact, morning glories contain trace amounts of a psychoactive chemical known as LSA (Lysergic Acid Amide), a precursor to Lysergic Acid Diethalamide (LSD).

And if you eat hundreds of them, you will begin to hallucinate, pain perception decreases substantially, and you enter an uncomfortable schizophrenic episode for about 10 hours.

Lol, you have to extract the LSA in order for the experience to be euphoric and wonderful. If you just eat the seeds whole, there's traces of ergot which is suspected to be what caused many of the Salem Witch Trials in colonial America when ergot fungus tainted colonies rye supply at many granary.

Hawaiian baby woodrose seeds are much more potent containing LSA and much of the traces of ergot can be removed using a simple cold water extraction.

My first psychedelic experience was in my senior year of high school with 4 of my closest friends just about a month before graduating and not seeing any of them for several years.

Will always remember that glowing, euphoric feeling combined with being faintly disassociated from my body and totally uninhibited (like alcohol does but without the loss of coordination) as we walked around the lake and throughout the town as we said our goodbyes to that quaint, peaceful little town.

Good times.

It's not worth trying to trip on morning glory. You have to be able to resist vomiting and most can't. Just buy some shrooms by the pound like a normal person. That's what kids in high school did. Source: was a kid in high school.

▲ 3 ▼
– TitoshandmadePatriot 3 points 4 years ago +3 / -0

it's inside the vitamin B17 which is in most seeds. the B17 attacks cancer cells and injects the cancer cells with the cyanide effectively killing cancer.

most countries use B17 to treat cancer except the US , where a doctor risks losing their licence to suggest or prescribe.

there's nothing wrong with eating seeds, it's in the bible to eat the whole fruit seeds and all

▲ 2 ▼
– Th4rd_R3ich 2 points 4 years ago +2 / -0

Oh yes ! When I first read about that possible connection and I compared the witch trials to what I experienced on LSA, it all made a freaky amount of sense.

I'll never forget staring at a digital clock while talking to one of my neighbors after coming back inside after social hours and everytime I blinked, the number on the clock increased by a minute.

Curiously, I blinked 4 times in a row thinking it was just a coincidence, but no, 4 minutes went by in what shouldve been 4 seconds.

I remember being able to see people's aura's and their energy spiking off their bodies as they walked around like some kind of radioactive isotope shoots off protons intermittently.

Absolutely fascinating stuff. Can definitely see how someone inadvertently experiencing something like that might think others are playing tricks or casting spells on them.

China produces nearly all the worlds fertilizers and they are now extorting the west who actually grows stuff. This was part of the cabals plan to starve us out. Our crooked govts sold us all out with regulations, because making fertilizer isn,t very GREEN. Time we all grow up ,learn to grow stuff or at the very least not take our farmers for granted.

– patriot68 1 point 4 years ago +1 / -0

Nothing so fancy. I find it's important to carefully wash the egg shells before setting them aside to dry. As for the coffee, it has to be absolutely dry before putting it in a container or you'll get bugs. The banana peels do require dehydration or they will mold. As this is not long-term storage, I'm just using some empty protein powder containers with screw on lids for now.

Growing your own food isn't impossible, but you will need to pay attention if it is your first time. It can be tedious but you will have fun doing it and it is good for your mental.

KNOW your neighbors. I am lucky to be surrounded by farms, and I bet a bunch of other people are too and just do not know it. BE FRIENDLY! If shit hits the fan we are going to need to rely on each other like we used to before we let government determine our food prices. Agriculture Subsidies It isn't economical to grow but people aren't super focused on the money right now, pretty sure everyone is realizing that it is hella fake anyway.

It might not be easy but we will be better off for the experience.

Get a localized foraging guide.

Learn to hunt/fish.

If you can grow, consider animal husbandry.

Friend who owns multiple rentals warned me not to expect to delivery as promised, so we'll see how that plays out. Son also went to car junk lot and purchased some spare car parts he could forsee possibly needing.

Someone mentioned fertilizer tea for for free fertilizer. more info - https://www.almanac.com/fertilizer-tea-plants-weeds-and-grass

I have been a Zerohedge reader forever... and I can tell you that Snyder is known as an over-the-top sky-is-falling author. Just offering that as a grain of salt to take with his his prediction.

So, everyone is jumping all over the OP, declaring statements of faith, calling him a fear monger, etc.

If you do some research, you'll find that 2022 has some rough waters ahead in the agricultural space. If we have further disruptions to the supply chain, then things will likely get difficult.

The Lord provided all the NEEDS of faithful believers in the Great Depression, while they still nearly starved to death (nearly being the operative word). I think prudence and some preparation is wise.

For me, I decided to be prepared for things after watching what came of the folks who got on those government busses with Katrina. They found themselves trapped in the stadium living like 3rd world refugees. When the government trucks come around handing out government cheese, I don't want to be in those lines.

I had a quick thought about the reduction in corn. Farmers increased corn acreage for ethanol. What if this is a way to get farmers to not produce so much corn - because ethanol is going to go away? Ease the farmers out of corn by using good ole economics as the driver this first year?

Get planting something, i have been doing it for a little while now in my own garden, mostly with potatoes and carrots, have some strawberries and apples too. Not a lot but better than starving.

Also i seeded the local woodland a while back with a few things so now there is apples, strawberries which has attracted the little deer and rabbits we have around here, i have a plot out there that is hidden from people and is really hard to get too so i know there is a little bit of stuff growing there and i could hunt if needed too.

Back when I was a kid, we raised hogs, cattle, corn and grains. A portion of what we grew was used to feed the livestock. The pig and cattle generated liberal amounts of "fertilizer" which we gathered up every week, and hauled out into the fields to spread over the crops.

It was amazing how little fertilizer we actually had to purchase. Rotate the crops every few years, take soil samples in for collection and analysis with the State Department of Agriculture to see what you needed, and respond accordingly.

Here's my take:

White hats have been taking out the "chemical" plants all over the world. My guess is these fertilizers are used to weaken and dumb us down. I think we will be going back to old school farming.

Just a little side note, you can make your own fertilizer, if you buy seeds make sure that they are a type of heritage seed so that you can use the seeds from year to year. Hopefully you have already learned to can food and proper food storage for winter months. I consider myself lucky because I grew up in the same place my family lives now and we have a little land and it has always produced well every year. We never buy fertilizer just understand how to utilize the land and move crops from year to year. Prayers for those not ready but at this point I agree, you may not have time to prepare. Here's to whatever the future holds. Prayers for all of us with what is to come.

From the article:

"The way I see it, a corn shortage will come. I guess there could possibly be a glut of soybeans, but remember that could depend on the seed being available. I guess there are other alternatives, maybe milo, oats, or barley. Of course the corn market is much larger. Think animal feed and ethanol. I mean for animals, soybeans are used too, but its a mix. What happens to the animal producers who depend on reasonably priced corn? I just don’t see how it can end well. I mean, even if we end up with plenty of soybeans, even a glut, then you have a busted market for that. I don’t know. There just isnt much history to base any of this on. I just see it hurting both grain farmers, and animal farmers, and also translating to more shortages and price increases for consumers who buy the end products."

We shouldn't be using corn for ethanol anyway. That was a government induced misallocation of resources. The "green" strangling of energy resources has far reaching effects on things. This is one of them.

Stock up now, get a chest freezer and fill it with meat and frozen vegetables. I;ve been doing this for a while and with my garden should be OK. But people who live in urban centers are fucked. Oh and KEEP stocking up on ammo when you can.

absolutely correct, Im in the agro business and current prices are very bad. How ever God will supply all our needs, but let me remind you the story of Mrs. Jane. You see a big hurricane was was heading to the coast of South Carolina, the governor made a plea for volunteer evacuation, Mrs Jane said, "My God will take care of me, I ain't going no where. Short time later the rains stated and the winds started, and Mrs. Jane's family ask her to leave, but her reply was the same. The governor then made evacuation mandatory, We'll Mrs. Jane got the mandatory evacuation notice, but in her conviction, she said, "My God will take care of me, don't bother me. The rain had water to Mrs. Jane's front porch steps, and the DNR (Dept. Of Natural Resources) came to her door in a flat bottom boat and pleaded with Mrs. Jane, Mama you have to evacuate now, this hurricane is much worse than predicted. Mrs. Jane said, No Sir, you look out for you, "My God will take care of me. So, the DNR left. Short time later the South Carolina National Guard came to her house with a helicoptet, the troop had a megaphone telling Mrs. Jane, this is her chance to get evacuated as the water had rise well into her house. Mrs. Jane was on the roof yelling back to the troops in the helicopter, "My God will take care of me, you get out of this wind and rain. All the sudden, Mrs Jane's house house stated floating down her street, and crumbled into rubble. Her lifeless body was recovered, meanwhile as she walked through the pearly gates of heaven, as she was Born Again and Saved By Grace (Romans 10:9), she said to her Lord, "Lord, I told those folks you would take care of me.?! Her Lord said, "Mrs. Jane, I sent you the governs warning to evacuate, I sent DNR in a boat to your front porch, I even sent the National Guard in a helicopter, what else could I have done to save you? The moral of the story is; We are experiencing touch times, fertilize prices are high, but you can NOT do nothing, buy the fertilizer you can afford, plant the gardens, manage your soil, manager your water and keep the pests (weeds, insects, ect out and live. God Bless!
