The truth of the matter is that, there’s no realistic way they’re going to be able to save everyone. This is about minimizing the loss of human life as much as possible. Meaning no overt overthrow of the system at large, without majority consent from an awakened population, which means there’ll be pain until that threshold is reached. Otherwise there would be an actual civil war.

Trump has had a whole bureaucracy working against him, with a well developed 5th column at every level. A president can only govern if those working for the government carry out his instructions. If they flat out refuse then he’s stymied.
