Now imagine they go through the tribulation. A servant is not greater than his master, yes? Did the master go through tribulation? What, given that their expectation had been that the faithful would be caught away into the clouds before tribulation, be, as someone who was “left behind”? Would they be more inclined to fall away, having been “found unfaithful”?
Would someone expecting a pre-tribulation “rapture” (a word which IS NOT in The Bible) be prepared to walk through a tribulation?
What benefit is there to adopting pre-trib theology? A feeling of complacent passivity being safe? Pre-trib theology appeals to laziness and our desire to avoid suffering.

I'd never thought of it in those terms. You make a lot of sense. I was raised not believing in the rapture or any of that. People worry themselves with looking for signs when we need our focus on God.
My very devout Father would equate belief in the rapture to heresy. Im more likely to think them misguided fools.

I do believe it’s possible that pre-trib ends up being what happens, but the people who teach it always teach it as a certainty, and usually stop with it when teaching how things might go down, which seems likely to be a terrible failure perpetrated by them against their flocks.
Like if driving schools only taught how to press the accelerator, but neglected to mention what brakes and the steering wheel do, or how to use them. As long as the car only needs to go in a straight line, everything is fine, but if anything other than that ends up happening, that teacher has failed the student.

The expectation that the Saved will be called home before the Tribulation is not for the benefit of the Saved, not to spare us from the Tribulation.
The Tribulation happens because God removes His Holy Spirit from the world. The Spirit is the restraining influence on humanity. He prevents our unrestrained descent into depravity. When the Spirit is removed from the world the people who the Spirit indwells are removed as well.
This obviously leads to the question of how do we get Tribulation saints if God's Spirit is no longer in the world.

John the Apostle wrote Revelation around 95 AD, a quarter of a century after the destruction of the Second Temple. Christ Himself will establish the true Zion, AKA the 1,000-year kingdom of peace, after He destroys the Antichrist at Armageddon. This will not happen by human hands.
How do you know that he wrote it in 95AD? Here is scripture that I found that makes that difficult to believe.

The problem I see is where’s the temple in 95 AD? Wasn’t it destroyed in 70AD? How could he measure something that no longer exist? Also, I find it odd that the destruction of the temple was not mentioned in Revelations. We know it happened in 70AD so wouldn’t that have been a topic of discussion if it happened 25 years before John wrote this? These are things that kinda make me go huh?

He also told them that all these things will happen in your generation as he was speaking directly to the disciples. Why would Jesus be telling them to watch for events that will happen thousands of years in their future? Would they have cared about something that was going to happen that was not going to affect them in their lifetime? When he mentioned the end of times and the end of the age, he was talking about the end of the covenant with the Jews. Some of the pastors I talked to in my Adventist Church believe that. I have never heard of it before so I was thinking it's aliens. What will be harder for many to swallow, is the fact that good (service to others) vs. evil (service to self) , is granted by choice to all of us, approved by god. We are here to learn and spiritually evolve, whether we love people or hate people… the choice you make, dictates the path you evolve through… we are all part of god…. When we die, yes the good and the bad, we all go to heaven… your spiritual path of choosing service to others will make your next life amazing…. Choose service to self (quicker to evolve, harder to maintain)… good luck
