We were recently in Trump Country TN, and my veteran hubby was wearing his Trump Won shirt. We were minding our own business, in a park with my elderly parents. Here comes an overweight green haired male, pierced up, tats everywhere, waddling along, clutching his Starbucks cup. He shouted over to my husband, "I don't agree with your shirt!" Before he could respond, my 87 year old veteran dad turned around and adjusted his cap and just looked at the guy. He immediately backed off and said, "But uhhhh it's a free country." My dad said, "Let's keep it that way" and the guy waddled off to his electric car and wedged himself in and drove away asap. My dad is the best.

I work in a C store and I genuinely love dealing with the public, and I love my job, the smiles just overflow. Yes I get some crabby people but 99percent of them are alright. I am in small town ND so I'm sure it would be different in another state. I do get customers from around the country.
