Sure I'm still here, and will remain here, but to say that this announcement wasn't a little disheartening or disappointing would be a lie. I actually did expect to be disappointed, so really I'm not surprised, but it still feels bad. Let some of us who are very tired and worn down just sit and rest for a while. We basically just got confirmation we must suffer for another 2 years. This is a big slap in the face. We need to rest.

Everyone can start by practicing non-compliance. Civil disobedience. Whatever outrageous crap they try to force on us, every single individual can just refuse.
A lot of us did that with the lockdowns and other Covid lunacy. A lot of us refused to wear masks, refused to be "vaccinated," refused to be tested.
We stayed away from any businesses that required it. We didn't travel if it meant being vaxxed and tested. Some of us quit jobs that went too far.
That actually worked. A lot of places got worn down and started backing off. I went into my doctor's medical bldg a few days ago and there was no one at the mask-and-temperature station by the door. Masks no longer enforced even in a large medical building.
We can do the same with whatever bullshit they try to do now, especially with this social credit score stuff.
Everything helps. As someone once said, even the smallest person can make a difference.
It doesn't required violence or coordination to stand up to them. It starts with each one of us as an individual. We can always go from there.

That social media announcement wasn't only for for us, Trump's enemies were expecting something huge also. You got excited, so how do you think the enemies felt? Our enemies were already panicking trying to steal the midterms. They are sweating because their whole system is being dismantled and exposed for the public to see. You need to take a step back and see all the other events taking place (like the FTX collapse and laundering scandal exposure). When pressure is applied, more mistakes are made, and these people are already terrified.
Trump has always been working with others behind the scenes and talked to his followers using comms. Don't start dooming because the person he plays/represents in his PUBLIC life tweeted and made an announcement related to his political career. Most people just see Trump as a politician, and he is playing that part, and will continue to do so. It does NOT mean that is what is actually happening.
Follow the chess moves around current events because a lot is going on. Trumps conference was barely a blip on my radar to be honest. That's what I'm hoping for. Something big going on behind the scenes that we are not allowed to know just yet. But this song and dance has happened so many times that me being skeptical is understandable.
One thing I learned during this whole thing is to ALWAYS question. I can pray and hope that justice is being done, but the midterms showed me how we've definitely lost our country.
