I don't think we have had a Congress since 2018, so...

It's not like that money exists anyway.

I don't think we have had a Congress since 1787, so...

FTFY.

The system was designed specifically for Cabal fuckery. Every "democracy," or "republic," or "constitutional republic," or [insert your favorite form of government here] the world over traces its origins to the Cabal. A deep dive into their founding documents reveals legal fuckery from the very beginning, designed specifically to promote "freedom" while at the exact same time taking it away. These governments were designed specifically to overthrow the Monarchies of Europe so that certain other groups could take more direct control (even though still behind the scenes) with the primary intent being to lead us into a One World Government. Any ideas that the system was ever what it pretended to be is not supported by any deep dive investigation into the evidence.

Thanks for the black pill. Now what do we do?

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 5 ▼
– Slyver 5 points 3 years ago +5 / -0

Seeing the world for what it is is not a black pill. Supporting a path to living in a world other than reality is the black pill.

Victory is assured as soon as enough people realize what I have said. Once people see, once people grok, deep down inside, the fraud of government (in the way we have had it defined for us); once people en masse, see their own empowerment and insist on, and create for themselves, an entirely different system, is the moment that we transition effortlessly into a forever victory.

This war is in the mind. I don't mean it is imaginary. I mean that is the true battlefield. Bringing the world, and each individual in it, closer to the truth by showing them the evidence is how we win this war. I assert it is the only possible path to victory. People must see it for what it is. They must recognize that the fraud goes back thousands of years. Trusting in a fraudulent system, and trying to "restore it to its former glory" will only lead us into a loss.

Right?? Our little HOA board sits around each month gossiping until we have a quorum to begin the meeting.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 9 ▼
– PhDinNY 9 points 3 years ago +9 / -0

I was President of our HOA for a few years, and the members, only 52, were so apathetic regarding how their association fees are spent, that we had to change the bylaws to say "A quorum, or all who attend the annual meeting" to vote on measures. Our quorum had been 25% of the homeowners. We had a hard time getting at least 13 attendees (with absentee ballots also counting toward a quorum). To think that people are so unconcerned how their "taxes" (annual HOA dues are essentially a tax, and the lowest level tax, in terms of accountability, that I know of) are spent at this level, it's no wonder that our politicians have no trouble spending taxes on whatever they want, because not enough taxpayers even care.

People only show up at HOA meetings if there is a giant increase.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 2 ▼
– PhDinNY 2 points 3 years ago +2 / -0

So they do it a little each year, just like all the other taxes we pay. The trouble with ours is that a prior board of directors was misusing the money; they were acting just like politicians :)

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– AmberWins 1 point 3 years ago +1 / -0

We've been talking about hiring a company to run ours that would require mandatory HOA fees, but as of now all HOA and Security "dues" are voluntary. Amazingly enough, we have enough contributors to pay for armed security with K9 in the hood. If we had mandatory dues they'd be here 24/7. But I've never been for mandatory dues.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 2 ▼

We were in a townhouse complex, so dues were required to pay for the maintenance and insurance on the "common" areas.

One thing I've learned from observing Politicians is that the rules only exist to stop the opposition from doing things the current people in power do not want.

In absolutely every other way, the rules are not only ignored, but I do not believe they are even consulted.

The idea this could be attacked because of a quorum in 2022 is laughable idiocy. Democrats make up their own rules. Everyone single member could have cast their vote via TIKTOK and it would make no difference. And even if you found someone who would actually care about this, and try to do something, no judge on earth is going to say, "Well, ya know, they have a point. Y'all really shoulda been present."

That our side wastes time like this, and that this is the kind of battles we look for, is too depressing for words.

I still find it funny that leftists think Elon could end world hunger with his wealth, but 2 trillion distributed amongst Americans is only between 5-6K each.

But instead, if they were REALLY trying to help people, they would put just $1 billion dollars into creating adult skill acquisition institutions across the country to increase the availability of trade schools, STEM and other careers so that less fortunate and the homeless have a realistic hope of getting into a career, or at least long term job field, and gives other people who don't have time to attend a full time college the opportunity to pick up new or supplementary skills.

Instead, no. Let's just import cheap labor, abuse and exploit them so they can turn into their Gestapo later, and throw money at other countries with nothing in return to show for it. Let's train and arm terrorists so that we fight them for the next 20 years. Let's skim off the top to give wealthy deep state politicians more money.

But the House implemented proxy voting in their "rules" so....there's that.

The U.S. Constitution requires that each body of the Congress have a quorum in order to conduct most business. Under House rules and House precedents, a quorum is defined as a majority of Members who are “chosen, sworn, and living.” With a full membership of 435 Members in the House, a quorum is 218.

But you cannot write a rule that is unconstitutional

"For the first time in history, a bill in the House was passed without a physical quorum present – meaning more people voted from home than in the House Chamber," said McCarthy. "The fact that [the bill] was allowed to pass with blatant disregard to Article I, Section 5 of our Constitution will forever stain this body."

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 7 ▼
– MAGAdeburger 7 points 3 years ago +7 / -0

Correct. Quorum requires PRESENCE. Not virtually, not via proxy. Congressmen should be getting their asses to work and doing their jobs.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– BumbleHill 1 point 3 years ago +1 / -0

That's YOU defining what presence means. They defined presence as participating on zoom or whatever online thing they use. I don't have a problem with this, they're logged in with a secure system and vote that way, and they publish the results of who voted. If there were any fuckery, anyone who voted differently would freak out. I have three people that work for me that I have never met in person and we only talk via phone, they're my three best workers who produce the most and cost the less. It's a new world.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– MAGAdeburger 1 point 3 years ago +1 / -0

The words of the Constitution have meaning as intended when written. And when they were written, quorum meant members present and present meant physically PRESENT. Just because the world changes, that doesn't change the original intent of the words as written. If Congress wants to go ZoOMiNg then they can propose an amendment to the Constitution, to be considered by the states and the people.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– BumbleHill 1 point 3 years ago +1 / -0

So we should still have slaves?

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– MAGAdeburger 1 point 3 years ago +1 / -0

Have you stopped beating your wife?

Nice try, but the plain, original intent of the words in the 13th Amendment explicitly abolished slavery (except when used as punishment).

The Constitution has been altered (sometimes for good, and sadly other times not so good) because it can be and at times should be. But to change the meaning of any part of the words in the document, it must be changed.

If Congress wants to ZoOm, pass a Amendment, get it signed, and ratified.

You mean the problem will be removed in the form of alternate societies, yes?

Large swaths of people are not going to be on board with that. Will likely see growth of autonomous communities akin to the Amish, but that don’t rebuke industrial technology, and who will be armed to teeth.

I’d like to see the Fed “Waco” their way out of that one, when there are dozens of compounds all over the country who refuse to participate.

Btw… Waco? Turns out it was most likely leveled because the buildings, which were previously owned by the Bush family (and was/is minutes from their family Ranch) had evidence of their human trafficking operations.

I think I just talked myself into starting a compound. See y’all on the other side. :p
