I believe that some areas of this bubble are safe. For example, to the west and southwest of East Palestine appear to be safe according to weather and water flow patterns.
The water simply does not go to certain areas there in terms of how the areas pull their water from deeper aquifers.

Me too, but this is a simple 200 mile circle around ground zero. I think a graphic showing wind and natural water flow would be more helpful than a simple circle. I think this incident is very serious, but this circle is close useless and possibly fear mongering a but too.
Im not quite in it but my township borders both Washtenaw and Oakland Counties. Being at the extreme end of the 200 miles and to the far NW I am not worried that there will be any effects here as we are upwind. Downwind areas even farther than 200 miles are in the line of fire.

Or even northwest for that matter. We definitely need to help with more accurate information instead of trying to freak people out and risk no one at all even paying attention.

I have heard that regions not along the Ohio River in the region get their water from underground aquifers predominantly which flow from, it seems, the northwest or such. I think these kinds of details need to be made clear to help people to have more confidence in information instead of simply likely not trusting anything since things may be overstated.

So I'm east of ground zero in PA by less than 30 miles... I've been watching windy.com and the weather every day since the first couple of posts on here. In the last week's time today was the first day it blew directly East. Most of the last 10 days it pushed every direction but east. My thought is it's been spread out larger than this area and maybe defused by now??? It has been unseasonally dry and windy here. We may have gotten a lite rain once overnight iirc since this happened. I have no illness to report in this timeframe. Any word on the street is also just not there. My connection 5 miles east of EP hasn't reported any medical issues with pets or themselves and no new news since last weekend, which it all was posted on here by others. No one seems to have a definitive explanation close to GZero from my source. I am wondering at this point if the fog of war this has created is worse than the terrible pollutants in the clouds...

I work in the river transportation industry and they just learned of this disaster from our boss’s mother!!! He asked if we had heard of this and I immediately said YES!!! We also have rail cars that line the river that make their way down south… Not very many people even in this industry know what’s going on!! The Ohio River makes it’s way to eventually the Mississippi. This could seriously affect way more than the 22 million people that live in the Ohio area once it makes it’s way to the water.
