I read somewhere on X this morning that one of the most important things Trump asked prospective Supreme Court nominees was how they interpret the Chevron Deference.
This will be a big part of Trump's legacy.
Didn't help. Leftist Justice Jackson joined the majority opinion, and Trump's Justice Barrett dissented with Sotomayor and Kagan. Where does that leave things?
It appears Barrett is defaulting to the Catholic WEF stance linked to the globalists. She is becoming Nixon's Breyer for Trump (an embarrassment/big mistake).
I hate to say it but she’s not what she pretended to br
But everyone who criticized her was baaad.
I think there's more to her than meets the eye.
Subterfuge & infiltration...
Some have hinted that she is the spitting image of bidens ex-wife and could potentially be his daughter, Amy... however that's wack a doodle.
What screams out to me is her Haitian adopted kids ... The Haiti connection AND anybody try to adopt a kid from ANYWHERE in the past 20 years? Nearly impossible with a huge wait period AND huge "donation" per child.
I'm like WTF is wrong with this picture here? "Oh she's just super Catholic or whatever and has connections... yeah... like who? The Jesuits? The black pope?
Like I said... stinks to high heaven.
America makes it very hard to adopt unless you're rich, yet it's much easier to adopt kids from other countries. Parents that want kids often go this route because it also gives then the satisfaction of knowing they not only gained a child, but they also saved them from a 3rd world hellhole.
Allegedly Barrett and Roberts have those sketchy adoptions hanging over their heads.
Was watching a mash up of Trump saying "central casting" it even included clips of him saying this about Gorsuch and Kavanaugh. Was watching an unrelated video of some guys going over old Q posts. This one guy thinks the SC is being run by the military and these decisions are theirs based on the Constitution. Is that true? Maybe, we are watching a movie after all.
Jeez Ang - I would love that to be the "case" 😁
Yeah her dissent is disappointing. She seems to have bought the media's narrative of what happened on Jan 6.
So.....IIRC; this is absolutely MONUMENTAL news to get it overturned, right?????
It's a massive blow to the administrative state. Government agencies, as part of the Executive Branch, creates their own often time far-reaching regulations based on their interpretations of laws passed by Congress.
OSHA unilaterally mandated tens of millions of private sector workers wear masks or get the Covid vaccine. Appellate courts allowed it citing the Chevron Deference.

^^^^THIS. Also sets the stage for SCOTUS (Article3) to put smackdown on Congress (Article1) for their usurpation of judicial powers per Admin Procedures Act of June 11, 1946 that established the unconstitutional Federal Rules for Civil Procedure. Potential strikedown possible under similar violation of Separation of Powers argument.
We would default back to Common Law Rules of 1912, preventing use of “administrative actions” to violate Bill of Rights.
The deference, set in 1984 in a case involving the oil giant, gave federal agencies wide powers to interpret laws and decide the best ways to apply them. In ending the deference, the conservative-majority court has slashed and severely weakened the powers of agencies including the Environmental Protection Agency
This is GREAT NEWS!!!
Re: Probably my favorite Trump quote/speech of all time

One of the most dangerous things about Chevron is that liberal judges were using opinions from deep state appointees instead of interpreting laws.
We need someone to file a civil case against an Obama appointee judge as foreign agent for fraud for 1. accepting appointment from foreign agent and/or 2. acting as a Federal judge without valid oath of office.
None of the 10 Obama appointees in Federal District Court of N. California have oaths of office, apparently so they cannot be indicted/tried for their treason.

Let's be real: the justice system is already dead. There is no legal system in the USA except that which is fully communist. It was a LOSE-LOSE situation and naturally loss occurred. This is how they control us. They give us little perceived wins and jackasses like citizenfreepress say "oh my goodness, we won!" and - nope - it was a psyop to keep the good idiots at bay while the evil ones really work things over more deeply and fully.
DOOOOOOOM! DESPAAAAAIIIRRRR! LOOOOSSIINNNNGGG!
“YOU’RE GONNA LOSE SO MUCH, YOU’RE GONNA GET TIRED OF LOSING!”
Said no one, ever.
(Not my downvote btw)
Lol, someone is not a realist here. Sounds like commie dildos squeaking into what should be smart spaces.
I’m fully aware that the legal system, using unelected judges, denying the right to a speedy trial, discouraging trial by jury, with police beholden to mayors’ offices rather than the public, and statutory laws we got no say in accepting, is not prone to creating Justice.
It doesn’t mean it’s completely unleverageable, that we can’t circumvent their control mechanisms, and that it’s not even worth trying.
You’re giving the “but I’m just one man, and the system doesn’t work, what can I do?” argument.
“But it’s the biggest empire in the world with the most powerful navy to ever exist and the sun never sets on them! We’re just a small nation of mostly farmers and a handful of merchants.”
“But but but but but but but”
If they can be fought in the courts in England, which is much farther degenerated than us, they can be fought here.
Faith in God is indeed foolishness to the world, but we know someone wins, and it ain’t them.
Held: The Administrative Procedure Act requires courts to exercise their independent judgment in deciding whether an agency has acted within its statutory authority, and courts may not defer to an agency interpretation of the law simply because a statute is ambiguous; Chevron is overruled. Pp. 7–35.
What is Chevron. Sorry I should know this...
Chevron was a Supreme Court opinion from 1984 (EDITED: Not from the early 1970’s) that gave federal agencies broad discretion to interpret legislative intent. These agencies passed thousands of “regulations” some of which are (or were) punishable by prison and fines.
Basically, the agencies are on the Executive branch and were riding the Chevron Deference as it became known to pass laws. That is not a power of the Executive Branch.
This is a huge win for freedom. Before Chevron, any ambiguity in legislation fell in favor of We the People. Going back to the Constitutional separation of powers will reduce the size of government and its intrusion on every aspect of American life.
To give an example, let's say Congress passes legislation creating a new Agency called Social Computing And Media (SCAM) whose purpose is to make sure that social media companies aren't harming their users. Then SCAM creates a regulation that says "Social Media companies must protect the fee fee's of their users." Next day, user @AllBigotsMustDie complains that someone commented on xir post saying "Jesus loves you, I'll pray for your soul."
Now, since @AllBigotsMustDie identifies as a non-binary, otherly abled, transmasculine, fempresenting, furrykindish, indigenous birthing person of color... well it's obviously a hate crime. And the DOJ raids the home of the offensive, bigoted, transphobic, racist, xenophobic, misogynistic, capitalist, treasonous, OrangeManBad supporter at 5 am while CNN does a live stream.
The DOJ uses SCAMs regulation to prosecute, and the world becomes a better, safer, more inclusive place.
The End.
this is great
That was good
Can we please doxx @AllbigotsMustDiePRUOR to all this Nonsense and maybe avoid all this hassle for out imaginary fren?
Kek.
Not here, that would just get us banned.
spoil sport, I don't see why we cannot doxx an imaginary person...
Have you cleared that with CatsFive?
I did not want to bother xem...
This is huge news. Agencies spoke the ATF and their sweeping powers to stupidly ban stuff would/could not be curtailed.
Yes! When POTUS is reelected(for the 3rd time), he can get rid of many alphabet agencies or at least vastly reduce their reach. Since Federal law supersedes state law, we'll see less of, for example, state's Ag departments going after and trying to shut down farmers. As the wife of a man who farmed for years, I can say that the Federal regulations were outrageous as was the amount of paperwork. Telling someone where and what they are allowed plant on their own land - insane.
Thank you for the excellent and well-written explanation.
You are welcome. Thank you for the nice compliment.
https://legal-planet.org/2017/10/23/everything-you-always-wanted-to-know-about-the-chevron-doctrine/
Basically - Chevron required judges to defer to agency "experts" to decide the interpretation of statutes instead of having to make the ruling on their own interpretation of law. Chevron doctrine gave a lot of power to bureaucrats to set their own rules, thereby denying the public of due process.
So no more shoe lace machine guns?
Among other things, yes.
This is a massive win towards dismantling the bureaucratic satanist state.
And way more protections for individual patent holders...
What a huge win. Wonderful. And thanks for the link.
The reason EPA destroyed dishwashers that now can't dry anything anymore.
The reason ATF can just burst into your home just 'cause.
Etc etc.
Bureaucratic satanism.
Could you give me more on the dishwasher thing you mentioned? We built a house 3 years ago and our dishwasher never dries dishes. They've replaced it 3 times and now we're considering removal and adding cabinets if they don't work.
"Energy Star" certifications gimped a lot of appliances from doing a good job with things. Not using enough water, not using enough heat to dry... Plus you have manufacturers building in planned obsolesence so you're forced to buy a new one every 5-10 years.
Also: Detergents were gimped. Chlorox, which is certainly a harmful chemical, years ago was gimped by probably Proctor & Gamble or whoever makes it. It was a noticable change when it happened. I try to prewash all my dishes before washing them now otherwise the shit won't get cleaned.
Ok. Did a little research on this too. I see they removed the heating element on dishwashers and opted for a cooling fan to condense water from dishes into the tub, thinking it would drip down to the drain. Doesn't work well with new polymers and plastics being used on cookware and utensils. Works better if using stoneware or metals because they retain heat to evaporate the water allowing it to condense onto the tub. Now I know! Thank you!
Yes, they removed the heating element.
Also they reduced the pressure on the water jets/pumps.
All to 'save the environment', mandated by the Obozo-era EPA.
Air conditioners got gimped by removing Freon.

This post opened my eyes about the AC thing an awhile back.
Here are some tips that might help with sucky dishwasher performance: https://youtu.be/jHP942Livy0
Reigning in these dipshit federal agencies regulatory power https://www.cbsnews.com/news/supreme-court-chevron-deference-power-of-federal-agencies/
Fuck yes!
The administrative state had the ability to fine you, shut you down, etc. and you had no recourse through the courts. In a word: dictatorship.
Barrett dissented, that should be the big news here.
u/#catdance
The more I read the comments of the three dissenters on this and other recent cases the more it is obvious these idiots do not understand the Constitution.
This is big, this is bigger than Bruen. Or maybe even Roe.
Frens, mark this thread and this day.
This event is every bit a much of a milestone in recovering our republic as RvW was.
This is big. The administrative state is an unelected, unaccountable, extraconstitutional fourth branch of government.
They are about to get some accounting straight up their rectums.
WINNING. WINNING. WINNING!
What commie downvoted this???
WINNING. WINNING. WINNING!!
This is incredible news. I’m sure fake news will ignore it.
This seems like it's a HUGE deal. I would think it means that radical dems (and rinos), and potentially any radical republicans, though not sure I've seen any of those, will have less success in making bills purposely vague such that their unelected minions can carry out their radical agenda.
This is the abolition of the unelected, unaccountable fourth branch of government we’ve had for decades - maybe even over a century.
It’s HUGE.
Oh but they teach the LAWYERS about the fourth branch of government. Just not us plebs.
HALLELUYAH!!!
u/#correct
To the New World Order!!!!!
Does this end the EPA, OSHA etc?
I would love to know how many Regulations have been placed on states by FNS and how this will impact SNAP and other welfare services.
What makes me sick about this is that it's fake. It's all a psyop and the fucking damned court systems just simply did this to get a power grab since they're all commies anyway. It was a LOSE-LOSE situation and there's no winning for losing in this particular instance.
What do you mean?
Seriously? You're in this space and you as this? LOL
More like, how do I know that I agree with you unless you spell it out?
This is the reason we get 6,000 page omnibus bills now. They are written by staffers, lawyers, dark money contributors, lobbyist and worst of all the 4th branch of government (the administrative state). If there are people in congress against something in the bill, they add some pork spending in that congressman's state.
Imagine now, the laws must be passed by congress. This is why congress is out of session for weeks at a time. Then they come to the floor dressed in nice suits and pretty dresses and vote the way they are told. If the AFT or EPA want something passed, they need to make their case to congress. If the congressman votes against the will of his/her constituents, his/her political life will be short.
