At this point I was going to be surprised if they were ever released, even after they announced that they were going to be. I knew something would stop it, and it still feels like we won't get anything substantial.

Am I the only one who remembers Trump during that interview saying he'd release it all day one and when the Fox host pushed about Epstein he said, you have to be careful about that one, it could hurt a lot of people and it's full of phony stuff.
Meanwhile Pam Bondi has been saying for a week that all of the Epstein files are on her desk, she just has to go through them all before she can release them.

I totally agree. I'm not holding my breath on the Epstein files. They've had more than a month to drop them. Trump said at the end of his first term he was going to release them right away. He started talking about it the day Epstein died, then spent the whole time Biden was in office demanding it was released and he'd do it Day One.
Then he started backtracking on the news, and now Bondi is backtracking and saying she needs to look more into it because most of the information in those files is phony.

I can think of a million scenarios that would justifiably validate a delay in releasing the files despite the desire for Americans to see the files now.
But that doesn't mean they shouldn't be released. It's time.

I'm happy to wait. Took long enough for both Kash and Bondi to be confirmed. Give them a chance, it's not like it's a one page shopping list, naming everyone, headed Client List. Though I do understand why they would need to see what is in those files first, so they know how to follow up on the information, because you know the media is going to hound them with questions. Or maybe they need to somehow prepare for the fallout all this information will bring. It's going to shock the world, well at least the ones still asleep. I expected this. But was hopeful that there had been some work behind the scenes to validate/confirm already. Perhaps this wasn't possible? Essentially, everyone on this list is going to be damned whether they were on 1 flight or 50.
