Most cops aren’t trained for goddam shit unless they were previously a grunt in the military. I’ve seen so many cops decked out in gear against unarmed people looking scared as fuck at the riots two years ago. They were not ready for shit. I would not be afraid of most cops unless they were a tactical unit, dudes hunting down warrants or obvs positions that need a badass. A good friend of mine who is a Marine veteran and former martial arts instructor kicked the snot out of three county Sherifs in 5 seconds that jumped him from behind thinking he was the perp for something he had no involvement in. They apologized and didn’t press charges because they fucked up. They literally clubbed him in the neck and grabbed him when his back was turned completely unaware and still got completely humiliated anyways despite having the drop and weapons. They never identified themselves or communicated like a bunch of dipshits. I saw utter terror in their eyes when his war face came up and his instincts snapped and they realized they were truthfully bitches and did not know what they were doing. The first guy got thrown like a side of beef and stayed down, the second guy took three jabs to the face and dropped and the third guy took one hell of a kick to the nuts and a grabbed by the neck and that’s when he realized it was a cop and stopped. As soon as he realized they were cops he stopped, surrendered and said he didn’t know they were police and got on his knees with his hands up. However, (unpopular opinion incoming) just from this video we cannot tell if there were units in the building or not. During any active shooter event , cops are supposed to set a perimeter and a small group enters the building to neutralize the shooter. This looks like that perimeter. It is intended to keep the public out of harms way and when looking at it form this perspective, this video makes sense.
That said, alot of other details I have heard of this situation are highly suspicious.

In the opening moments of the video you can hear someone say "we are taking care of it." From body language of many of the parents (dads, I am assuming) they are agitated and looking as if about to lash out. It also looks as if two people have been subdued already before the person started to record. The officer with the tazer drawn is covering his fellow officers, as would happen when ANYONE is subdued, to prevent an attack behind.
We are taking care of it also can mean that, yes, we have back up on the way, and we're still going to be protecting the shooter and jacking off until then.

I always asked a ton of questions to the point he’d get shitty with me. I researched who the group was, they indeed were scammers so I then called a local news reporter who came out to interview me and did a story about it. She was awesome. What had me so pissed is that the elderly and other folks have no idea this is a scam, they watch the local news and needed to know. The scammers would do this every time there was a police shooting that was widely promoted. It would get peoples sympathies to donate.

I agree with you about the police and Ottowa is the evidence. I still think there's a few good police officers out there. The Sherriff is a different story. The Sherriff is elected, not hired, and most of the ones in CO where I live are based, save for Eagle County. I'm not sure there's enough context here to make a judgement either way but I'm inclined to give the Sherriff a little rope. The police? Not so much.

Texas is constitutional carry. If all those parents were armed too, they could have the police standing down. I'm sorry but had I been there, I couldn't promise I wouldn't try and round up a few armed dads to deal with the police while the other parents rushed in.

So, timeframe wise, this video is clearly well after (not during) the “shooting” took place. There’s no way in hell info travels that fast to get that many parents there while the shooter is still active. Unless this went down just as parents were starting to pick up kids after school? Plus, it takes a good 30 minutes before police tape is put up and that’s usually only once a crowd starts to assemble. Sadly, by this point there would have been nothing for the parents to do to prevent this.
