Either way, question still stands. Don't understand what makes this compelling because the first two numbers in sequence are related to hitler. You realize 10,000 other posts are too, yeah?
Popes don't even meet the biblical requirements to be a pastor or elder.
Must be the husband of one wife (1 Timothy 3:2, Titus 1:6) – Popes are celibate and unmarried, contrary to this clear requirement.
Must have believing, well-disciplined children (Titus 1:6) – As celibates, popes do not have families to fulfill this qualification.
Must not be a lover of power or self-exalting (1 Peter 5:3) – The papal office elevates one man as "Vicar of Christ", with supreme authority, contrary to the servant-leadership model in Scripture.
What do you want to follow; the traditions of men or God's Word? Jesus answered this when admonishing the Pharisees.
Exactly! However, just like the 4-6% of normies will never wake up, so many who worship the Traditions of men will not stop due to pride.
The Catholic “church” burned Christians at the stake for having bits of scripture. Scripture that would prove the false nature of this man-made pagan institution (Roman Empire).
The number of his name is six-hundred-sixty six (Vicarius Filii Dei). Do the math in Roman Numerals. Papacy is the Beast.
That's why.. ORTHODOX Church, the original church before Catholic, the priest is required to be married and have kids. It's much healthier this way, mentally sound, and safer this way. Those priests who dont get married and alone and many are gay/pedo, weirdo.. just F up.
Paul wasn’t a pastor/elder—he was an apostle, a unique, foundational office (Eph. 2:20) not bound by the elder qualifications in 1 Timothy 3 or Titus 1. Same with Jesus—He is Lord of the Church, not subject to the qualifications He gave for His under-shepherds.
As for the Pope, calling him “just a bishop” is laughable. He claims universal jurisdiction, infallibility, and supremacy—none of which are given to any bishop in Scripture. Peter was an apostle, yes—but he calls himself a fellow elder (1 Pet. 5:1), not a monarch.
The Pope is literally just the bishop of Rome. Rome is the see in charge of all churches. The Byzantine Emperor Phocas even said this.
SOMEONE has to be the head of the church, in the book of Acts, Peter is clearly shown to be the head of the church. If there is no head of the church there is no agreement as seen by the thousands of protestant schisms.
LMAO your source is gotquestions? Nice one. Unironically quoting an anti Catholic website regarding Catholicism is like quoting Mossad shill Alex Jones to prove Q isn't real. Next time try reading what Catholics actually believe instead of what people CLAIM they believe.
Pray to statues? Nope. That's bullshit. Been a Catholic my whole life never seen or heard of anyone praying to a statue.
If you're expecting a scripture reference for every last thing Christians do you'll be looking for a while. But that being said there are scriptures that are interpreted this way by Catholics. David calls upon the angels in Psalm 103:20-21 as a prayer. The intercessory prayers of the saints are described in Revelation 5:8.
Jesus is God. Mary is the mother of Jesus. Therefore she is the mother of God. This isn't rocket science. Elizabeth calls her "the mother of my Lord" in Luke 1:43. In fact, the hail Mary itself comes primarily from Luke 1:28. Among the titles given to her by Catholics that Protestants despise is "queen of heaven" but the scriptural basis for said title is literally found when she is given a crown of stars in Revelation 12:1.
Papal infallibility is one that is aggressively misunderstood. Infallibility only applies when a Pope is speaking Ex Cathedra which has happened exactly once.
Jesus HIMSELF says that the church has the authority to "bind and loose" in Matthew 16:19. Sins can be forgiven by the apostles. Would this not make them His vicars? Furthermore, even Protestants use the term "vicar" including Anglicans.
This is supposed to be a research board. Do better research.
If you're expecting a scripture reference for every last thing Christians do you'll be looking for a while.
You proved my point right here. If your religion’s practices are not based on scripture then it’s a tradition…. Period.
Praying to Mary is real in Catholic practices.
Infallibility only applies when a Pope is speaking Ex Cathedra which has happened exactly once.
Huh? what kind of gobblygook is this? Point me to the scripture where humans (I.e popes) are infallible (aka never wrong).
So infallibility is real, it happened in Catholicism. Claiming any human (except Jesus) as infallible in ANY circumstance is an error and implies sinlessness. It is anti-Christ.
Maybe you should research your own religion. It is the harlot mentioned in Revelation. It claims the power to change the Sabbath and change the 10 Commandments which were written by the hand of God Himself.
"You proved my point right here. If your religion’s practices are not based on scripture then it’s a tradition"
Picking and choosing what scripture to follow. Paul literally says that we should follow tradition in 2 Thessalonians 2:15. Sola Scriptura is not Biblical at all.
"what kind of gobblygook is this?"
Thanks for admitting you have zero idea what you are talking about. One of the Biblical arguments for the concept of ex cathedra infallibility is John 16:13. All papal infallibility means is that when the bishop of Rome is making statements that apply to all Catholic churches he can not be in err (see Matthew 16:18).
"Maybe you should research your own religion."
LOL you are the one who needs to research it, not me.
"It is the harlot mentioned in Revelation"
Who told you that? Jack Chick? Trust me pal, this isn't the first time I've heard the "whore of Babylon is the Catholic church" argument. There are problems with that, for one it's an interpretation that even all protestants don't subscribe to. Furthermore, the Vatican is not one of the seven hills of Babylon as described in Revelation 17:10. The seven hills of Rome are Palatine, Capitoline, Aventine, Caelian, Esquiline, Viminal, and Quirinal. That alone shoots that idea that the Vatican is the Babylon of Revelation (not the Roman empire which was clearly the implication in the text as it was written during the persecution of Domitian) in the foot. Furthermore, Revelation 18:3 clearly states that "the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries". This implies that it is a global commerce hub (again PAGAN Rome sure as hell not the Vatican which has zero export afaik)
"It claims the power to change the Sabbath"
Are you a Seventh Day Adventist by chance? The Catholics did not "change" the Sabbath. The Sabbath was not changed, it was replaced by the Lord's Day (Revelation 1:10) in Christian worship.
"change the 10 Commandments which were written by the hand of God Himself"
The commandments aren't bulleted in the text. You can count as many as 13 or even 14 commandments and as a result, Jews, Catholics AND protestants all number them differently. The Catholic numbering was based on Augustine's writings after he studied Deuteronomy closely. Protestants were the ones who altered the ten commandments to split the first commandment into two and then combined the last two into one so they could "own" the Catholics over "muh statues" (forgetting that God Himself commanded statues of living things to be made namely the snake in Numbers 21:8). Even the fucking LUTHERANS use the Catholic ten commandments. It was protestant reformer John Calvin who altered the commandments in 1545 because he was an iconoclast. The Catholics did not change the commandments, if anything, protestants did.
AGAIN, please do some actual historical research outside of a Chick Tract.
And happens to have alot more weird coincidences too. Found this while checking out his death, thought it was interesting:
" Too many threads are starting to braid together. This isn’t doomsday talk. This is observation, pattern recognition, and a gut-level knowing that something is shifting in the field.
Let’s start with the obvious: The Pope just died. Not just any pope—Pope Francis, the first Jesuit pope, progressive, and an 88-year-old symbol of transformation. 88 is a loaded number. In numerology, it reflects cycles, infinity, and collapse before rebirth. In astronomy, 88 is the number of official constellations.
But what really threw me off was the timing.
The Lyrids meteor shower is peaking tonight—an ancient celestial event that’s been tracked for over 2,600 years. It’s not dangerous, but it is symbolic. Something burning through the sky as a reminder of ancient patterns still in motion. And in that same breath, the Vatican announces the death of their head. On April 21st—Rome’s birthday.
Read that again: The Pope died on the anniversary of Rome’s founding, during a meteor shower, in a year riddled with cosmic and terrestrial anomalies.
Now here’s where it gets dense—but not dismissible.
Nostradamus spoke often of “black skies,” of great upheavals in the Church, of celestial fire. Many interpret Nostradamus’s writings to suggest that:
• There would be a “final pope” before great upheaval.
• A “black pope” or Jesuit pope (Francis was the first Jesuit pope) would usher in the end of an age.
• He mentioned “The great man will be struck down in the day by a thunderbolt,”—a line often tied to leaders falling unexpectedly
• There are verses referencing Rome burning, spiritual corruption, and a great schism.
“The great star will burn for seven days, The cloud will cause two suns to appear: The big mastiff will howl all night When the great pontiff will change country.” (Century 2, Quatrain 41)
Some see this as metaphorical—an energetic or leadership shift in the Vatican, coinciding with celestial phenomena.
Let’s add a few more strange alignments:
• The Schumann Resonance has been spiking erratically.
• We’re nearing Solar Maximum in 2025–2026.
• There have been core rotation anomalies in Earth’s center.
• Global seismic activity is on the rise.

The Tri City establishment was the corporation. City of Rome, Vatican, Washington DC.

I'm waiting for the MOAB that shuts the mouths' of my Leftist siblings and makes them finally encounter reality, for the first time. They are the bad guys and they support the bad guys.
Let’s see how this all plays out. Pope Francis was old and had been pretty sick. I was surprised he didn’t die while in the hospital.
Interesting that he dies not even a day after seeing JD.
You gotta wonder what was said between them.
As a practicing Catholic I never liked Pope Francis. But I don’t worship any pope. I know the Catholic Church is rife with sin. As is all the other man made religions
I am thinking about joining. I have issues with the papacy but Protestantism is filled with fake and gay Christians, churches that think rock concerts are worship and mega church grifters.
Also I agree with Catholics and Orthodox on the Eucharist.
Yes. I would never leave the Catholic Church as it is the closest church to the early Christians/apostles. I think we’re the only Christian Church that still believes the priest changes the bread and water into Christ’s actual body and blood.
There are many devout Catholics who don’t agree with the way the Catholic church has gone in general. And there are a few good Catholic Churches out there. You just need to find one that suits your interests or enter one and change it. Start a men’s knights of Columbus group or a women’s group if you’re female.
I found a very good Catholic Church where I live here in the Bible Belt of NC that I love. It’s very small but everyone knows everyone. We have many converts here. They seem to be especially devout I’ve noticed than those raised Catholic.
We have such a great ministry that our Deacon was even recognized by winning a prestigious award rarely given out. He visits many prisons and speaks with the prisoners. Many other men in our community have joined him. We also have a very large group of men in our knights of Columbus group who’ve also been recognized for their charitable work.
We have a women’s group that provides social, religious and charitable ministries to our church and community. Because our church is small everyone knows everyone. When I needed assistance after surgery I had women offering to bring dinners to my home or to offer transportation etc. I had several volunteer to come out for a few hours to give my husband some respite
I recently finished a women’s Lenten bible study at my church that was wonderfully written. It was more of a catechism class than a bible study, though It was not really a bible study per se as you know it but took a theme and brought in bible verses to support the theme our father is a loving God . Many were thought provoking questions. Some stories of saints were intertwined
My church in NY was so progressive I actually stopped going. Apparently many others also questioned it so much so a priest had to address that the church was neither right nor left. He was saw many come in from my other Catholic church. Luckily there were several churches there to choose from.
I am male. Raised Protestant but Protestantism is very unfulfilling. I am going to check out both a Catholic and Orthodox Church this week.
Young men like me want tradition. We don’t want “lax” teachings. We want truth, structure and strength. Protestantism is fractured and has too many pick and choose followers.
Or you could just read God’s word and get the answers straight from the source’s mouth. Make sure you pay attention to what He says about religious traditions since that is what seems important to you.
You can supplement your search with Relevant Radio! You'll learn a lot about the faith quickly by tuning in or finding myriads of topics that interests you.
I agree with the Catholics and Orthodox about the Eucharist according to John 6. I think Lutheran Missouri Synod is pretty based though as they also believe in the Eucharist and aren’t fake and gay like some other Lutherans.
Hysterical coincidence! I’m glad he didn’t die yesterday. He would’ve wrecked Easter! I’m sure the DS wanted yesterday to be the day but clearly the white hats weren’t having it!
Oddly, Pope Francis died approximately 17 hours after meeting with JD Vance on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025. The Vatican announced his death on the morning of April 21, 2025.
J.D. Vance isn’t your typical VP. He’s populist, rooted in nationalism, anti-globalist rhetoric, and yet… he stood in the globalist heart of the Catholic world with the man who has represented it for a decade.
That signals two things:
• The Vatican is watching the new power structure shift toward the MAGA world.
• There may be attempts to co-opt, soften, or control that shift through religious optics.
Alternatively, it could have been a warning shot: We’re aware of you. We’ll be present in what comes next.
In the old world, kings were crowned by popes.
In the modern world, legitimacy is transferred through optics and symbolic encounters.
This visit may have served as a quiet handshake—acknowledging that Vance (and Trumpism 2.0) are now part of the conversation at the top levels of global power.
You don’t send the VP to meet the Pope on Easter unless someone, somewhere, wanted that image recorded in the script of history.
Now the real question:
Will the next pope double down on globalism? Or pivot to a more “traditional” figure to balance the rising populist tide?
Because remember—when systems sense a pendulum swing, they adjust the narrative. We might get a conservative pope… as a gesture.
Or a technocratic one. A synthetic unifier. A post-Francis “solution.”
I wondered if this might happen.
Now he is due a terrible May as all his secrets get revealed.
u/#q997
And as he faces the All Knowing Judge of every human being. No more kissing up to the Deep State... yeah, that would make for a terrible May and just about every month after that.
Time in the afterlife is not the same as time now. Whatever judgement he is going through is happening already.
Yes, I believe it’s just death, then judgement will start until the great white throne judgement in revelation
You are correct. Just like Lazareth… Jesus said he was “sleeping”, he was obviously dead.
But the traditions of men, believing falsehoods, is a sign of the times. (Let the Downvotes begin).

There is no role of Pope in scripture.

Technically, there is no Pope or Pontiff Maximus or Bishop of Rome currently. Election of a new Pope won't start for 15-20 days.
The Cardinals (under 80) will be sequestered and select a new Pope.
Maybe the next pope can be Catholic…
Maybe the next Pope can be a God fearing Jesus loving righteous man
Let’s see how this all plays out.
Good luck with your search. I hope you find a church that fullfills and sustains your beliefs.
Or you could just read God’s word and get the answers straight from the source’s mouth. Make sure you pay attention to what He says about religious traditions since that is what seems important to you.
Edit: grammar
You can supplement your search with Relevant Radio! You'll learn a lot about the faith quickly by tuning in or finding myriads of topics that interests you.
But Protestantism also has wonderful doctrine not tied to crazy popes.
I agree with the Catholics and Orthodox about the Eucharist according to John 6. I think Lutheran Missouri Synod is pretty based though as they also believe in the Eucharist and aren’t fake and gay like some other Lutherans.
JD, justice delivered.
Pop out the champagne!
The last Pope?
Gonna be interesting to find out, we might be heading into the tribulation period
The way he looked when they brought him out yesterday, I didn't think he would last much longer.
I wonder if his boy love symbol shawl will be popular with his fellow demons.
Guess Vance didn't pray hard enough. 🤷♀️
I think he prayed just the right amount.
I guess the prophecy of St. Malachy was wrong then.
Maybe there won't be another pope? No replacement? End of the "world" = end of the Catholic Church as we know it?
Just throwing stuff out there.
No this one was no called Peter the Roman
Hysterical coincidence! I’m glad he didn’t die yesterday. He would’ve wrecked Easter! I’m sure the DS wanted yesterday to be the day but clearly the white hats weren’t having it!

Tie in with the Q drops about the vatican and Nazis.
Oddly, Pope Francis died approximately 17 hours after meeting with JD Vance on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025. The Vatican announced his death on the morning of April 21, 2025.
17 hours? Hmm.
Coincidence... right?
Yikes… Lord have mercy
J.D. Vance isn’t your typical VP. He’s populist, rooted in nationalism, anti-globalist rhetoric, and yet… he stood in the globalist heart of the Catholic world with the man who has represented it for a decade.
That signals two things: • The Vatican is watching the new power structure shift toward the MAGA world.
Now the real question: Will the next pope double down on globalism? Or pivot to a more “traditional” figure to balance the rising populist tide?
Because remember—when systems sense a pendulum swing, they adjust the narrative. We might get a conservative pope… as a gesture. Or a technocratic one. A synthetic unifier. A post-Francis “solution.”
Irish st Malachi prophecy says last pope
"Reticulating Splines" - I'm having The Sims flashbacks! I always wondered what that meant. I googled it about a year ago. Fun memories.

JD Vance went to the Vatican looking for our Gold that was stolen out of Fort Knox. JD may have said Give us our gold back or else. Pope or else what?
He was nothing special.
