Now with people wanting the money back paypal has to liquidate those investments to get the cash. Ok at first, you can liquidate the profitable investments, but at a certain point you will have to liquidate underwater investments, realising a loss. If those are large enough, paypal could face a very embarrassing write-down, potentially they are playing with bankrupcy if the cash is not sufficient to pay out to the owners of it.
Continue with the cancelling ESPECIALLY if you have credit balances, larger the better.
